Marron is hyperactive, and a little clumsy, two traits that should not go together. His flailing arms have decimated more innocent vases and pictures frames than you can count, and he gives the floors an unexpected wash with his drink more than once a day. Marron is constantly getting into trouble, and not always just because he's knocked over Rozovvy's favorite trinket again. Marron is also very mischievous. He's always trying out new pranks on his family and friends. The problem with being a clumsy prankster, however, is that Marron tends to accidentally ruin his own jokes. He's always getting caught, but when he does, all he needs to do is show off his sweet smile and apologize.

Like his twin brother, Marron is the model child for adorableness. Both boys have an uncanny knack for melting the hearts of those around them with their childlike humor. But unlike Vishnya, Marron doesn't mind the attention, in fact, he's just the opposite. Marron learned from a young age that his cute appearance could get him pretty far, and he's taken to milking that for all its worth. Whenever he gets in trouble, he reverts to perfect manners and charm. He always uses "Monseiur" and "Madame", "por favor" and "merci", and paired with his childlike grin, he tends to worm his way out of just about anything.

Don't think that Marron is just manipulative and sly, however. He's a sweet talker, but he knows when to stop, especially with Rozovvy, who doesn't indulge his son's "charming ways". Marron is a very intuitive child. He can tell when his attempts to charm the last popsicle out of Vishnya's hands aren't working, and he knows when he's starting to go overboard with Pomme.

Despite his mischievous and hyperactive nature, Marron is actually rather nervous. He can be intimidated very easily, and he gets very nervous when certain adults try to talk to him. Its not because of any traumatic experience or anything, he's simply naturally nervous. Unlike his brother, who can be intimidating to other children with his "tough" act, Marron has much less success with keeping other children from bothering him. He usually tries to stick close with Vishnya in order to keep from being bullied. Being such a flirt has earned him the title of "teacher's pet", a name that rarely bodes well with children. He doesn't have very many friends, but Marron is alright with that. He's happy just to have Vishnya, his best friend.

Marron has a strong heart for animals. Even though he doesn't always get along the best with other children, he can get along with animals better than any Disney Princess. His favorite animal is the bird. He can often be found sitting quietly (the only time he's quiet) and just watching them flutter about on the lawn. Of course, Marron's problem is that he just wants to hold the birds so very badly, and he never can sit still for very long. His bird watching moments never seem to last very long.

Hobbies

✜Birds✜

Ever since he was a baby, Marron has had an
obsession with birds. He loves to watch them
fly and often dreams that he can join them.
The majority of his drawings include birds,
and he has covered his room in printouts of
his favorite birds. One place he loves to visit
is La Voilerie des Aigles, a special park in
Kintzheim, France, that is dedicated to eagles
and other large raptors such as vultures and
owls. Marron begs his parents every weekend
to take him to La Voilerie. Marron's main
problem with being such an avian enthusiast
at his young age is that he's just too wild.
Birds prefer people to be calm and still,
whereas Marron cannot sit in one place for
more than 15 seconds. To his disappointment,
the birds always to fly away when he gets close.

✜Piano✜

Although bird watching is his main hobby, Marron
also has some talent in the arts. He has played
piano since he was 5, and although at this point
he can't play very many complicated pieces, in
the future he will become very talented at playing.
Once again, his overzealous attitude and inability
to stay still causes his lessons to be very short.

✜Drawing✜

Another thing that Marron enjoys in his free time is
drawing. He draws birds, but also may other things.
Sometimes he enjoys making mini-comics that include
his family members. This is the one thing he can do for
hours without fidgeting. Whenever his parents need him
to stay still, they just hand him his paper and pencil
and he'll get right to work.

Trivia



Marron means "brown" in French, almost a
chestnut colour.

Marron took more to French language and
culture than he did Russian.This could be
due to the fact that the family lives in
France, however,Rozovvy is the stay at
home parent, so one would think that his
children would both pick up on his natural
language first. For whatever reason,
Marron picked up French first.

Marron is allergic to peach fuzz. It causes
him to break out into a rash.

Marron is naturally photogenic.

Marron has a deep and passionate love for
anything sweet; Candy, Chocolate, Cake,
pie, whatever. He loves it!

Marron doesn't play video games as much
as other children; he actually prefers to
play outside. Despite this, he does enjoy
playing Flappy Bird, and is actually very
good at it.

Marron has an irrational fear of pigs, a
quirk that carries over into adulthood.

Marron is not vegetarian, rather, he
refuses to eat anything that was once
covered in feathers. That means no
chicken, no turkey, no ducks. However,
he will eat eggs, but only scrambled.

✜Collection✜

Marron keeps a collection of all the little things that Rozovvy brings home for him.
He has a shelf dedicated to these trinkets. Here are a few of his favorites!

Metal Bird
A small, silver bird, intricately carved and formed from metal. It looks like its taking
to the skies.

Transparent Crystal
A palm-sized crystal rock that has many sharp edges. Marron likes to look at this, but
he tries not to touch it.

Golden Locket
Inside is an old picture of two Plumerians, too faded to make out. Marron likes to imagine
that they are related to him in some way.

Smooth Stone
A pale blue, perfectly smooth stone. Marron likes to hold this and feel the cool rock on
his paw pads. He has a strange temptation to eat this.

Dog Tag
One of Rozovvy's military dog tags. Vishnya has the other.

Pomme

Marron loves his mama just as much as any other
child would. He looks up to her as a role model,
always trying the things that she likes, such as
painting, singing, and dancing. He feels like she's
always there for him, and she certainly enjoys
having fun. Since Pomme isn't at home nearly as
much as Rozovvy, Marron is always very excited
when Pomme arrives. He loves to show her his
new drawings, and every so now and then, Pomme
will give him a piano lesson. He's always happy
to show her his improvement with the keys.

Rozovyy

Marron and his father couldn't be more different,
yet, Marron looks up to his dad more than anyone
in the world. He often wishes that he, like Vishnya,
could be tough like Rozovvy. Alas, he just doesn't
have an intimidating nature. Despite this, Marron
continues to look up to Rozovvy, and thoroughly
enjoys spending time with his father. Rozovvy loves
beautiful things and often brings home little
trinkets for his family members. Marron cherishes
these things and keeps them on a shelf, so he can
look at them anytime.

Vishnya

Best friends since birth, Vishnya and Marron are
inseparable. The two are always together, playing
games, running around, or playing tricks on some
unassuming person. Marron sees right through
Vishnya's "tough guy" act, even though many of the
other children don't. He likes to stick close with
his brother during school hours so that he won't be
picked on. The one time he tries to stay away from
Vishnya is when he's cranky. Marron certainly doesn't
try to push his luck and play with Vishnya's toys,
because he knows doing so would invoke his brother's
wrath. Marron doesn't quite know what to do when
he's without Vishnya. Sometimes even when he goes
to visit his grandmothers without Vishnya, he feels
lonely and gets very quiet.

Xiamen

Marron really likes to be around Xiamen. She's
very patient with him when he's wild, and she
always has sweet baked goods for him and
Vishnya when they go over to her house.
Xiamen is a very good listener, which is great
for Marron, since he loves to talk, especially
about birds. Xiamen also really enjoys Marron's
artwork. He likes to draw pictures for his
grandmother, and he really enjoys it when she
hangs them on her refrigerator.

Aracelli

Marron is very intimidated by Araceli. She's so
unpredictable, he has no idea what she might do,
and that worries him. Although he can tell when
she's in a good mood, he's always afraid she might
turn angry in the blink of an eye, so he prefers not
to interact with her, especially not alone.
Sometimes, when Araceli is telling a story about
one of her adventures, Marron likes to listen, but he's
usually shy during these times and doesn't speak.

Foster

Foster and Marron don't really have very much in
common. Foster's civilized manners couldn't be
more different from Marron's mischievous nature.
Marron constantly wants to play and gets into
trouble, whereas his uncle is very gentlemanly.
Marron can't stand going to Foster's house, where
everything is perfectly organized and clean.
Every time he goes over, he ends up accidentally
breaking something and getting into trouble.
Not to mention, Marron could never sit still long
enough to observe the stars like Foster does.

Isak

Isak is Marron's favorite uncle. A fellow motor
mouth and baked-goods lover, the two get
along better than icing on cake. Marron loves
to visit Isak, partially because he knows his
uncle will have something sweet to give him,
but also because Isak doesn't mind listening
to Marron's chatter. Marron likes to tell Isak
all about his favorite birds, and he always
brings his drawings to show him. He often
tries to get his uncle to watch birds with him,
but since Marron tends to scare the birds
more often than actually watching them,
these encounters don't last very long. But
Marron doesn't mind, because it means he
gets to hang out with Isak.

Corvin

Corvin is one of Marron's best friends. This quiet
child is sweet and kind, a darling by any standards.
Like Marron, Corvin is not very athletic but likes
to have fun anyways. What drew Marron to Corvin
originally was his pet bird named Nectarine, who
likes to whistle with Corvin while he plays his
ukulele. At first, Marron was simply entranced by
Nectarine, and made every effort to speak with
Corvin just so he could see the bird. But after
getting to know each other better, the two boys
realized they had more in common than just birds,
and they became fast friends.

Caelum

Another fellow bird lover, Caelum is another of
Marron's best friends, however, the two boys
have a different relationship than Marron and
Corvin. Caelum comes off as more insensitive
than Corvin, and he loves to debate. Although
they are best friends, Marron and Caelum tend
to argue with one another quite often. They
can bicker over the smallest things, but in the
end, somehow, they always work it out.

Richard

In reality, the last place Richard should be is in
Marron's "friends". He has a bitter attitude, gruff
and constantly annoyed. Richard is Marron's least
favorite person in the entire world. He seems to
hate just about everything, and he doesn't like to
see anyone else happy either. The fact that
Marron seems to be able to get out of just about
any trouble is infuriating to Richard. Marron doesn't
quite see why Richard dislikes him, but he returns
the feeling. Marron would rather jump in a lake than
hang out with that boy.

He had wanted a real one, but had to settle
for synthetic.

Outfits

Marron has very few outfits, because
he really only likes to wear the same
thing every day. He wears a blue t-
shirt and khaki shorts, simple enough
for a 6-year-old. He does have a
fancy outfit he wears for special
occasions, which is a navy jacket,
green and black stripedshirt, a tie,
and khaki pants. During the summer,
he wears green swimming trunks.

As Marron grows older, he becomes less hyperactive and more certain of himself. By the time he hits his teen years, he is much calmer than he was as a child, although he is still quite the klutz. Marron's mischievous side only strengthens with age, however, and he still has a tendency to get into big trouble. Growing up causes Marron to become much more certain of himself, and he holds himself with confidence. His flirtatious mannerisms become more dominant, and he tends to flirt with just about anyone he meets.

In becoming more sure of himself, Marron begins to realize that he is simply not an intimidating Plumerian, and accepts that he will never be like his father in that way. Once he realizes this, he begins to build a stronger relationship with his Rozovvy. Not stronger than his relationship with his twin brother, however. As they grow up together, Marron and Vishnya become more independent of one another, but that certainly doesn't mean they grow apart. They are still as close as ever, they just understand each anothers' space.

As he grows, Marron keeps his love for piano and art in general and adds a new talent to his resume. During his teen years, Marron discovers a love of photography. He loves creating images, discovering the perfect scene, and finding just the right lighting to make the photograph flawless. His favorite subject is still birds, and now his room is covered in high-resolution images of his avian friends that he took himself. In adulthood, Marron takes his photography to the next level, becoming a professional photographer. He's always looking for the right angle!

Why I chose to try out for this child...

I am an artist, currently the owner of one Plumerian, Castor. I have been
in the Plumie Community for about a year and a half, and have yet to acquire
a new Plume since last January, however, I have tried out for more than a few
since then. I try out not simply because of the prize, however, but because of
my love for character design and development in art, in writing, in characters.
I come up with new character ideas constantly, and trying for Plumerians helps
me to bring those to fruition, even if I don't win. Trying out for and losing
adopts gives me a reason to get better. I learn from my mistakes and I'm always
happy to try again. There's always a natural sense of disappointment in losing,
however, in the end, I know whoever wins is the one who will take the best care
of the prize. I really appreciate this chance to give another character a try and
have immensely enjoyed developing Marron over the past month. (I especially
enjoyed the chance to brush off my French, after two years of High School
French I haven't had much of a chance to actually use it! ) I would love to be
given the chance to continue to develop him further, and I already have some
ideas for the future. But I do know that I will have more chances in the future
no matter what, and that whoever does win is the most deserving.
