If I were to dance for the rest of my days, simply dancing my feelings away like the falling petals of a cherry tree, then surely you would come back. Because we promised - we promised, didn't we?
That in our lives no on else would matter quite as much. And yet, I am still dancing and you have still not shown up at my door, breathless from your gallavanting in the chill rain.
So I will not stray from this spot, beaten down with the pattern of my steps, not until you open my door grinning, in all your damp glory that is slowly fading away like the memory I know you to be.

Hello again! Summer has left for new lands, looking to scorch others with her blinding mid-July heat. Winter has not yet reached the end of her northern escapade, and Spring is walking in the warmth of May. So Fall, my companion, how are you? We are here again, where we met years uncounted before, with our grinning secrets still bewteen us; of our toes dipped in frosting brooks, yelping at the cold seeping into our skin. Of golden, flaming, blazing leaves falling into our hair while we laugh at each other's faces. Of glowing sunsets peeking over the edge of rustling woods.
You're leaving now? Wait, come again next year! We'll add on to the secrets grinning with mirth and hush-hushed love.

Try to think of what you like and hate. Or what you hate about what you like. Or what you like about what you hate.
I like to compare stuff a lot in my poems. I use a lot of metaphors sometimes, especially discreetly, so when I recall an event, nobody understands it so you could try that. I even wrote a song about writer's block once...
Even make an outline.
Anything bugging you? Wasting your precious time? Write about that. Make your own method, even. In fact, it could be a song without a tune if it is easier to write like that.
