Personality
On the outside, Zamira can be seen as a hopeful, cheerful girl. She is seen as kind, respectful and helpful towards those in lower classes. She is known for always telling stories she has read to the younger children, all of them often gathering in the middle of the day at a public location to crowd around and listen to her read before she leaves to dance.
However, at festivals or celebrations she can be seen dancing for it, the only time she would actually dance with someone else unless it is a special occasion to a young child or they seem very upset. Aside from these times, she refuses to do a partner requiring dance with anyone.
Though she is playful with the children and can be nicknamed their 'second mother', and to many of the orphaned child she is very close to being their only mother.
However, if asked about if she wants kids of her own she would simply say 'I would love to have them, but my heart and mind I am sure will cry even in heaven when I can no longer hold them in my arms'. Some say she is thinking to deep into having children, but to Zamira she is being logical due to what happened to her parents would happen to her as well if she had a child. And she does not want her child, or children, to do through the same thing she did so long ago.
Aside from all this, she is not very respectful or tolerant of those in higher classes. She views them as arrogant mules who only sit around all day and view themselves as gods who claim they can do anything. She also tends to despise guards a bit and doctors who do not help those for free. However, guards and doctors she warms up to easier then those in higher classes.
If confronted by a higher class, perhaps being asked to perform for them, she will refuse no matter how much money they offer. She will then state that 'if they have the money then why not help those who need it instead of wilting in your own pleasures'.
If you can't tell so far, at times Zamira does make very confusing but defensive statements when she talks. She also tends to sometimes refer to things in German instead of English as a memory from her mother, who was a foreigner from a German speaking country and moved here after meet Zamira's father and gave birth to Zamira. So because of that, Zamira was raised to speak English and German but she is more fluent in English then German due to constantly speaking it. However if she wants to rant or insult someone, she will often be caught saying the important words in German or the entire sentences in German.

History
Zamira, at first, had a cheerful past to a degree. She was born with a twin, premature. However, after 2 weeks her sibling died and Zamira herself grew very sick. Doctors saying she wouldn't make it and would soon follow her sibling to the after world. However, Zamira was a determined baby and refused to give up on life. As you can guess, she managed to pull through.
However, due to her sickly birth it had a shock wave on the rest of her health growing up. She easily fell ill and was often to weak to even leave her bed as a toddler. She was still happy though, as she had her parents to keep her company and read her stories of many magical adventures. Her most favorite as a child, and to this very day, being Aladdin.
As she grew older, Zamira's health became better but she was still prone to illnesses but she could now happily walk about without fear of fainting. This was when she first saw her mother dance in the city. You see, her mother was a infamous, popular dancer for the poor but Zamira had never seen her dance before due to always being in bed and their house not having much room. But at that point, Zamira wanted to dance like her mother.
She practiced in secret, wanting to perfect being able to dance before showing her mother what she could do. Wanting to prove she was independent and didn't need help with this strength-needing activity, which was quite a tiring feat for her as her body still quickly became tired and weak.
But as days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, and months turned to a year, Zamira felt she was ready to show her parents what she had learnt.
She did her first ever dance for them, her muscles and body much stronger then what they used to be.
She was so happy when her mother and father smiled at her at the end of the dance, both claiming she would be the best dancer when she got older.
However, a few weeks later Zamira never expected what came next...
Bandits attacked, stealing, kidnapping and killing. A sea of blood left in the wake.
But what horrified Zamira, was that the bandits killed her parents right in front of her and tried to kill her to, stabbing her and just missing her heart. Zamira thought she was going to die with her parents, she was scared and alone, crying.
However, guards shortly came and attacked the bandits, getting them away. And a Jaupie heard Zamira's faint, weak crying from inside her house. They took her and her parents bodies to a doctor, where they desperately tried to save the child and revive the parents.
She was saved, but her parents were a different story...
They both died.
She slowly recovered, but her mental and emotional state did not. She grew older in an orphanage, always running away from her foster parents and returning to the orphanage, refusing to go back with them. Eventually the orphanage gave up.
Zamira stayed a dead, emotionless being for a long time. Crying triggered by certain things but that was the only reaction that she was still able to feel anything.
But, when Zamira became a young teen she was given two items by a stranger one day on the street who simply told her, 'don't give yo what you were destined for'. A familiar, black flute carved from a horn and a green dress. The flute, her father's, and the dress her mother's dancing dress.
Zamira stared at the items for hours once returning to the orphanage, the stranger's words repeating in her head. Before she finally did something she hadn't done in years.
She smiled.
Well, she was crying as she smiled but it was a happy smile none the less. Her mind was focusing back on the real world, emotions returning and her young determination coming with it. She began dancing again.
She practiced vigorously, hardly stopping for days even on the ones she was sick and did roughly 5 hours of dance a day, sometimes longer. But she grew far better and began also practicing the flute in her spare time.
Soon she grew old enough to leave the orphanage. She began being a street dancer, got a small 1 room place to live and slowly over time, became the Zamira she is today.
However, she still get's sick quite a bit but no matter what, always dances even not in public in hopes that her parents will see her and smile from heaven.
