      Name ::
      Zuriel Moonbow
      Zuriel means "angel of harmony"

      Personality ::
      An energetic yet reserved individual, Zuriel is renowned for his optimism that has brought he and his family safely through some difficult times. Zuriel is quick to act, although this does make him appear a little reckless at times. One phrase that works well to describe this aspect of him is 'act first, ask questions later' - that is, if he does bother to ask questions.

      Relationship with family ::
      asariel ::
      Although Zuriel does not often spend time with his dear grandmother, his undying love is shown clearly in every word he speaks of her. Despite what one may think, Asariel's gentleness and Zuriel's excitement do not clash at all. When around his grandmother, Zuriel's energy seems to be toned down a little; in truth, Zuriel consciously tries to keep himself calm in order to not accidentally overwhelm Asariel. The sugary treats that Asariel brings to Zuriel from time to time are well appreciated, as anything sweet to curb Zuriel's excitement temporarily is both useful to his family and to him.

      hato ::
      Hato's piano music is one of the only things that can put even the most excited Zuriel asleep. Though this may seem as if Zuriel dislikes the music that his grandfather plays, that is far from the truth; he, as a young child, cannot truly appreciate the talent and skill his grandfather possesses, but over the past few years, Zuriel has evolved to love the music like it is a living being. Rather than hating it, Zuriel is simply calmed enormously by it, and when Zuriel is calm, he becomes tired. The two get along like a house on fire.

      sofiel ::
      Each day with Sofi is a new adventure for Zuriel, and he gleefully takes every opportunity to spend every moment he can with her. Whether they visit a museum, go out for a meal, or watch a movie, the experience is cherished dearly, and the memories of moments with his mother are locked deep within Zuriel's mind where he will never forget them. Sofi and Zuriel are as close as a mother and son could possibly be, and when they cannot be together, Zuriel understands why and yet is still uneasy.

      I was born under the light of a full moon. The day was the 14th of January, 2006, and some believe that makes me blessed. I don't really believe in things like that - blessings, miracles, prophecies, it all sounds too unrealistic to me. Well, it would look as if I was the only one who thought that, because for the first few years of my life, I was living like a prince. My family, in all their numbers, adored me as any family would; the people living in my home town couldn't get enough of me, and some even came to see me on a daily basis. It was sickening, in hindsight. To think - there were people who deserved that attention many times more than I did, and yet, I was the apple of everybody's eyes. I received smiles, words of praise, even the odd gift. Needless to say, by the time I turned five, I had grown out of loving the attention and began planning to do something terrible.

      On the morning of my seventh birthday, as the sun rose and shone through the lone window opposite my bed, I awoke. Keeping as quiet as a seven-year-old could, I traversed the house, wishing a silent farewell to every dear relative as I passed their rooms. With naught with me but a battery-powered torch, a bottle of water and a meager lunch consisting of a sandwich and a packet of wheat biscuits, I exited, breathing a sigh of both relief and fear as the door closed behind me. There was no need for the torch, as was soon revealed to me; the light reflected off of the silvery moon was enough to give me vision in the early morning.

      It wasn't long before I was swallowed by fear. I panicked when I realised the severity of what I had done, and as soon as the sun rose to signify the end of a terrifying night on the streets, I raced back to my home as fast as my short legs could carry me. Unbeknownst to me, my family had been stricken with worry and were about to alert the police when I burst in through the front door, my hair messy and my fur doused in cold sweat. I was welcomed back with open arms.

      Aside from that, my life up until this point has very much been that of any normal child. Though my day-long freedom has left me with some personality traits that are, to say the least, undesirable, I like to think that it's taught me just how important my family and friends really are.
