Baking
baking is her first and foremost favorite hobby. she loves to bake for her kids and friends on a daily basis. she loves to teach her children all that she knows and make her favorite desserts. even though it's timely, when you get her in the kitchen it's like she's a whole nother person. she's so lively and up beat, dancing around and making everything seem soo easy. she loves to allow her children to run the mixer, or help put the batter in the oven. and even let them try to make cakes or cookies on their own. with her supervision of course. it's something that bonds her to her family. she loves baking because it releases all her stress, and all her passions are in something delicious. although there is always a mess at the end, she sings and hums when she's cleaning up. it's just something that makes her happy. and makes everyone happy when they sink their teeth into Bali's tasty treats.
Surfing / Swimming
surfing and swimming are her second favorite things to do. water is like her love. another home within a home. she loves swimming and seeing all the underwater marine life, watching fish play and turtles ride the waves. water is always flowing, like she is, so this is like another get away. Bali loves taking her kids to the beach, it's something she finds very enjoyable, it's something that brings a family together, and you can do so much there. building sand castles, swimming, surfing, finding sea shells, and even checking out the marine life. she knows that not all people love the water, but she can't help but go back to her roots as a child and become the child she once was.
Cooking
cooking is something Bali is very passionate about, it's something that she does daily, and there are many things she hasn't tried yet. she first took up cooking when she was younger, and she was given by her mother a cook book, containing her grandmother and her mother's recipes. and she to this day, has not completed them all. cooking is something joyful to her. it's something that keeps her alive. something she can teach her kids, and Sprout. She loves having her sister over and cooking with her, asking for opinions and ideas on what she could do better. Her family has been very supportive about this. and even though she may not be able to pass down her cook book to the next generation, she'll still keep living on. her dream is to be on a cooking show, and show judges what she's got.
Flower Weaving
flower weaving, though apart of her job, and a hobby is something Bali never jokes about. she becomes overjoyed when her children bring her flowers, and she in turn creates beautiful flower crowns that her kids can enjoy. she doesn't mind it when her children trash her garden, although she does gently scold them. she then takes them out and buys more plants, and has her children pick out there favorite, place it in the garden, and have them grow their own plants. it's something she's proud of. if she could, she would buy every plant in the world and make an orchard, berry, and flower farm and tend to them. putting on flower competitions and having people come from all over to learn about and buy her plants.
