Midna is smart and confident, though the latter is mostly seen around Link probably because he is the viscet she is most comfortable with. She is considered to be flirtatious and manipulative towards him, while often mocking his supposed thinking and negotiating skills. However, she seems to have a really deep fear of being alone, and having grown fond of Link as her company, she nurtures a strong affection for him. She is also seen to feel uneasy about showing him her powers over the constellations. She is usually good-humored and talkative. She speaks in a formal manner that might be expected of people during her younger centuries. Midna is somewhat of a glutton. She often convinces Link usually using her feminine charm to buy her food, which is usually in large quantities and, at times, expensive. A perfect example of this was when she bought over 80 loafs of bread, her favorite food, with Link's money without his permission. She also appreciates how different human food is compared to foraging in the forest, especially how cooking changes it. Though she is a goddess she still suffers from the same faults as many viscets do, For one Midna does experience jealousy toward other girls who talk to Link. Midna is a very proud goddess but does understand that she does not know everything.

Midna was born one summer day to the moon god and sun goddess, having two older siblings. The dawn goddess and the dusk god. She was the last of the moon's and sun's children, the twilight goddess. Like her older siblings, the dawn goddess having power over the rains and dusk having the power of the crops, Midna had an odd power the power of constellations. She could make the constellations come alive and help her with tasks before the night was over, which then they went back into the night sky. When Midna was old enough to leave her home, she did so. She wanted to travel, to see all the wonders of the world. Midna, well, others were afraid of her. She had a big old stone mask on at all times, only taking it off to rest. Midna traveled alone for many many years, in till one day... She met a young viscet named Link. This male wasn't afraid of her and would talk to her like she was a normal viscet. Needless to say, Midna convinced Link to take her traveling with him. Link agreed, wanting a travel companion to talk to on the long dirt roads. They've been traveling together ever since, and the goddess has gotten very attached to Link.

Midna's strongest relationship is with Link. He's the first viscet who treated her like a normal viscet, like everyone else. But, at first Link is shocked to say the least when he initially bumps into the goddess. Midna tries to explain that she is indeed a goddess, but Link is needless to say, skeptical that Midna is indeed the twilight goddess and not a young viscet that has gone crazy, he demands she shows him her power. However, upon witnessing Midna's powers over the constellations for the first time, Link panics and falls down, knocking himself out. When he comes to Midna is gone and Link is left questioning what really happened. He returns to a nearby town shaken, but mentions nothing of his encounter with Midna. Speaking with his merchant friend, he sympathizes with Midna's situation, being alone and basically forsaken by everyone. Not long afterward, Midna finds Link in his bed, already seeming slightly intrigued by the merchant and adventurer. Link apologizes for his behavior, feeling foolish that Midna was kind enough to prove herself before him, while he acted cowardly. Link then agrees to accompany Midna along her journey, after they chat for a while.

Midna doesn't know Lokni, and isn't as close to him as she is with Link. They met one day when she and Link where off the road and in a town, stocking up on food and clothes. Lokni was surprising really friendly with the goddess and they kept joking with each other, and promised to meet up one day for supper to talk some more. Which they never did, cause Link wasn't too happy with Midna being friendly towards another male. With some convincing Link and Midna were headed out the next day, early in the morning. If Midna did ever go back to that town, she promised herself to meet up with the cheerful viscet named Lokni again.

Lynn, well is an occasional friend and ally to Midna. They met one day in a back alleyway of a small town. The female mercenary was talking to another viscet about a potential job and how much she would payed for it, but the job sounded risky and Lynn didn't really want to do it. She stepped aside checking how much money she had on her at the time. That's when Midna came up and offered her an easy to do job for her, travel and protect Link's wagon till they got to the next town. He was carrying some gold and armor to sell to the next town over for a better price then he paid for it. Lynn stopped for a moment, asking how much she would be paid. Midna replied, "Enough to feed you for a few weeks." Lynn jumped onto the job quickly, and made quick friends with Midna and Link, protecting their wagon as they got to the next town. Link payed her handsomely and Midna smiled, saying that if they ever met again she would hire her again. Over the course of Midna's journey her and Lynn have met a few times, and have shared supper once too. To this day Midna still calls the female mercenary a friend and ally.

Midna hatched out of her egg, only to be greeted by a bright viscet and a darker one. She chirped at them happily, knowing right from the start these were her parents. They named her Midna, and dubbed her as the twilight goddess and had the power over constellations. She soon met her brother, the dusk god and her sister, the dawn goddess. She loved her siblings, and they grew up together being very close to one another. But, Midna wanted more. She wanted to know the world outside of the small area that her parent’s confined them to. Her older brother, the dusk god was the first to leave. The middle child, the dawn goddess was second to leave the nest. Midna was the last, and she couldn’t wait. Before she went out, her parents gave her a solid stone mask to wear.
“Mom, Dad? Why do I need this mask?” Midna asked her parents.
“That controls your powers. You don’t have full control over them yet. Only take it off when you get older please…” Her dad answered.
“Don’t listen to your father, take it off when resting too.” Her mom said.
Midna sighed and nodded, putting it on before heading out. “I’ll be going then. Thank you for taking care of me all these years.” She said, hugging them both before racing off.

Midna was in quite a surprise when she finally arrived at a small village. The villagers stared at her like she was some sort of devil, whispering about her mask and markings. “Um…hello?” she gently spoke, going up to a friendly looking viscet. The viscet yelped and threw bread at her. “G-Get away demon!” it yelled at her. Midna yelped quickly, catching the bread and racing off into the nearby forest. She cursed her mask, stuffing the loaf of bread into her mouth. Once Midna finished the bread, she wanted more… but didn't’t dare go into the village again. She swore at her mask again, trying to take it off. “Get off you dumb thing!” she yelled at it, but it was stuck to her face. “….Must be my parents doing…” she muttered and curled up, muttering a few unkind words till she fell asleep.

The next hundreds of years consisted of Midna living in the forests, traveling to towns only to go into the town when every viscet was sleeping to find left-over food. She hated her mask, her power, her blue markings for the first few hundred years till she stopped caring about them. They were a part of who she was. That changed when she met a handsome male viscet named Link.

Link was tying up his horse to a nearby tree, only to notice Midna sleeping under it. He yelped, surprised by the viscet. “I’m so sorry Miss!” he apologized, bowing to her.
Midna woke up suddenly, glaring at the new male viscet in front of her. “…That’s alright…” she muttered, wondering why this viscet wasn't’t afraid of her.
“My name is Link, nice to meet you…….Nice mask, what is it for?” Link asked, more curious then anything.
“….My parents said it was for controlling my powers.” Midna replied.
“Powers…..?” Link said, skeptical.
Midna nodded, for some reason trusting this viscet she just met. Maybe it was because he actually treated her like she was everyone else. “I’m the goddess of twilight, Midna is my name.” she said, sounding proud.
“…..Um….A Goddess?” Link asked, looking at the female like she was crazy. “….Then….can you show me this power?” he asked, nicely.
Midna huffed. “…..I’m Only doing this once.” She replied. Her eyes started to glow, along with the markings on her body. A few stars disappeared from the sky and swirled around Midna, forming a starry swan.
Link yelped, surprised more than anything and slipped as he jumped up. He knocked his head on a rock as he fell, knocking himself out. As he came to, it was morning and the goddess, Midna had disappeared. He looked around and headed towards the nearby town, forgetting about the meeting with the goddess for the moment. He rubbed his head and met a friend in the town, speaking to him about a few things… but kept getting side tracked as he started to remember the goddess. “…Hey, have you seen a….Um…. Unique viscet around the town lately?” he asked.
His friend nodded. “The demon? I heard it only come out at night to steal food…. Everyone is scared of it, saying it will eat you if you’re not careful and leave some food out at night.”
“….MmMhh…Well, thank you for chatting with me.” Link nodded, heading back towards his horse and wagon. He sighed, climbing into the back of the wagon and laying down. He stared up at the sky, thinking about Midna. Everyone forsaken her and she must have been so alone. He sighed, humming a small tune as he got up, only to bang heads with the goddess he was just thinking about.
“Ahhh! I’m so sorry Midna!” Link frowned.
“Ow…that hurt…” Midna muttered, rubbing the top of her head.
“Oh! Your back! I’m so sorry I acted like I did last night! I didn't’t mean to act like that. It surprised me more than anything!” Link frowned. “After you proved you’re a goddess and everything.”
Midna smiled softly, forgiving him. “Hey, I’ll forgive you if you let me travel with you….” She muttered, smirking.
“…..Travel?” Link asked. “….I don’t see why not…… The back of a wagon is more cozy with two anyways….”
That sparked the adventures of the goddess and the normal male viscet, traveling from town to town.

"Mmmhhh....bread, ah bread... I can write a whole book about how much I love bread. Seriously, it's that good. Ahhh, I make Link buy it for me everytime we're in a town. I can eat loaves and loaves of the food but Link won't let me, he limits me to only two! Can you believe it? TWO LOAVES! Huff! That's why one time, I brought over eighty loaves of the mmhhh, nice fluffy bread using his money! hehehhe.... He forgave me after a while, well...after I ate all of the loaves."

"Well, wheat makes my favorite food...bread. So why wouldn't I love wheat? It's also nice to look at blowing in the breeze while me and Link travel in the wagon. I'm always in the back of the wagon, just taking in the sights. I also love seeing big fields of it because, you know there's going to be some nice bread in a nearby town! It's also warm if Link buys any to sell to the next town over...makes a nice bed in the back of the wagon."

"My favorite animal? The rabbit... not because they're cute or anything. No, no, no. They taste wonderful is my reasoning!
They're cheap and plentiful too, which is a bonus! The coat of the rabbit is also very soft and makes a better bed when combined with the wheat! Wheat can get itchy and tons of bugs can live all over it, but the rabbit coat laid on top of the wheat solves those problems. That's why it's my favorite!"

Weather- Sunny but cool

"Sunny but cool. Sure, the sun is lovely but I don't want to be hot all the time from it. I enjoy the days where it's cool but sunny still. Those are the best for traveling and getting things done! Link enjoys these days too, It gives him a chance to travel longer, so we can get to the next town. I also love when there's a slight breeze in the air... it's so relaxing to just chat with Link and lay in the back of the wagon."

--Become "Normal"--
Midna's biggest dream to just to become a normal viscet. Like her best friend and traveling companion, Link. She wants to be with him forever, and can't do that when she never ages and is stuck as an adult viscet. He'll die one day, and Midna will be left alone once more. She prays to the higher gods, hoping one day she'll be like Link and everyone else.


--Being alone--
Midna, well. She's been alone ever since she left home. It didn't bother her too much, even if she did hate other viscets look at her like she was the devil.... but after she met Link, she suddenly hated to be alone. It's her worst fear that one day, Link will die and she'll be all alone in the world again. That's one of the reasons she doesn't want to be a goddess anymore, and just wants to be like everyone else. So she can live and die with Link.
