In the middle of the dead silence night, in an enchanted forest. A mother bear was walking around searching for food, when she saw a glowing butterfly flying around. She decided to catch the butterfly for food. The mother bear chased the butterfly, jumping through logs and rocks. Finally the butterfly halted to a stop and the mother bear stopped, ready to pounce on the butterfly, when she saw a clearing with the moonlight. She saw a beautiful lake reflecting the moon, but what was more astonishing was a shiny egg in the middle of the clearing. She walked close to the egg and stared at it. The egg was silver with pale blue spots speckled all over. The egg seemed to absorb the moonlight and glowed. The mother bear decided to take the egg home with her...
Kima yawned in the den, while his sister and his big brother played around. He said, "Would you mind playing outside? You two are really loud." His sister said "Come on play with us! Mother is coming back soon. We should play while we can." "Don't mind him Seila, he is just as lazy as a housecat." his brother sneered at him. Kima growled. He never really liked his big brother since he always thought he was better than him. Kima was about to pounce at him when his mother came back with a deer leg in her jaws. "Mother!" Seila yelled with joy. His mother dropped the leg and said, "Did you two take good care of your little sister?" Kima and his brother nodded. "Although Kima didn't, he slept instead" Kima's brother reported. Kima wanted to bat him, but restrained the urge. "Kima..." his mother sighed. "Aku is lying!" he whined. "Am not!" Aku snapped back. "Yes you are" Kima answered back. "Now now. No fighting please." their mother said. Kima sat down and groaned. "Well I brought back lunch. You three should dig in." his mother said to them. "Yay!" Seila said. Aku turned his head away. Aku didn't like to eat prey that his mother brought back, he only liked it if he hunted it himself. Kima shrugged and decided to take a bite. Aku then suddenly said "Mother I always wanted to ask a question. Why doesn't Kima look like us?" Kima jolted then said, "I'm going to go outside to eat." he took a huge piece of meat and walked outside. His mother scolded Aku for asking that question.
Kima didn't blame Aku for asking such a question since he does not even know what he is or where he came from. All he know is that he didn't look like the rest of his family. Kima had scales and a long tail. He is even starting to grow horns on the top of his head. He had leathery bat like wings on his back and he is even learning how to fly with them. He looked completely different from the rest of his family members. When Aku have a long narrow fuzzy face with fierce looking eyes and a strong body covered with brown fur, while Seila had gentle eyes and is smaller than the rest of them. She is also covered with brown fur and have different coloured eyes. Aku and Seila was the spitting image of their mother, while he wasn't. He always wondered where he belonged. 'Somewhere in this world, I will find a place meant for me.' he thought to himself while staring at the clear sky. He listened to the trees rustle against the gentle summer breeze and the animals all pouncing around. He heard a rustle and turned around. He saw his mother coming towards him then sat down beside him. "I think it's about time I tell you something...it's about where you came from." she suddenly said. Kima's eyes grew round with excitement, but also hesitated because what would happen if it isn't the answer he wanted it to be? Kima gathered up courage then finally asked, "Where did I come from?". His mother sighed then said, "One day when your brother Aku was still very small and it was in the middle of fall. I went out to search for food. When I was searching for food, I came by a clearing and saw a beautiful lake and well you were right in the middle of the clearing. You weren't born yet, but you were still in an egg." Kima stayed silent and listened carefully, then she continued,"I looked around and saw no one and decided to take you home. You were glowing and after a few months you hatched and you were wearing a type of amulet around your neck. After you were born and your brother Aku could walk your little sister Seila was born." Kima then said, "Where is the amulet?" his mother took off something around her neck and handed it to him. "I thought I should keep it safe with me until you were big enough." Kima took the amulet and stared at it. It was pretty big, around the size of his hand and it was embedded with jewels around it. While swirls locked them in place.
In the middle was a huge emerald with a picture of a tree inside. He clasped it around his neck and said, "Is there anymore?" he sounded desperate as to know more about his parents. His mother sadly shook her head and Kima shrugged. "Let's go back shall we?" his mother said breaking the silence. Kima nodded and they both headed back to the den. Little did they know that they were being eavesdropped by mysterious creatures in the shadows...

Kima woke up in the middle of the night since he couldn't sleep. He sighed and walked outside to look at the moon. Sadly when he went out the moon was covered by the clouds. Suddenly he heard a whisper then more whispers in the trees. He turned around and saw nothing, but the shadows. Although there are shadows he can hear the whispers then more whispers. They were saying something like "Is it him?" or "It's the one". Kima stood up and went into defence mode. He crouched and lashed his tail side to side, then a huge shadow came out of nowhere and smacked him in the face. Kima fell to the ground and yelped in pain. He looked up and saw glowing eyes staring back at him. The moon then came out and shined its light onto the shadow. Kima saw a huge bear wearing a skull as a mask. One pair of glowing eyes were staring at him. Half of the bear's jaw was injured. The flesh gone leaving the fangs and bone. The bear had a long scar along its flank and a few scars and bald spots here and there, but what made Kima notice much more than the other appearances was that along the mask. There were accessories made out of animal bones or parts. He also noticed that the other companions are coming out. Some were bear others were creatures too disabled to know. He also saw that all the other people either wore a mask or something that was taken from a dead animal. He then stared back at the huge bear in front of him. It then spoke, "Where is it?" the breath that came out was disgusting and reeked of dead things. Kima had to blink to stop tears from coming out of his eyes. "What are you talking about?", Kima answered. "You know what I am talking about. Blessed thing.", the bear said with hatred in the tone.
Kima didn't know what was going on then the bear did a gesture and all the other animals started to laugh and whoop. Soon a circle of the animals surrounded him. They looked like they were going hungry. Their eyes filled with hunger and drool coming out of their mouth. "I am not that patient. Now tell me where it is. Or else your going to be left to die.", the bear said. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!", Kima yelled. The bear stared at him then said something in a weird language Kima could not understand. "Looks like your spared. You are unfortunately not the one.", the bear spoke. Kima sighed with relief, but soon saw a huge paw coming down on him. Before he was knocked out cold he could see a strange mark carved into the bears mask on the forehead. The mark looked like a wolf fighting a snake. Then Kima went out cold.
When Kima woke up he saw nothing had changed, but his home destroyed. Kima was shocked and quickly went to the den. He saw his brother and sister on the ground and his mother in front of him. Injured and bleeding. He quickly ran over to her and said, "Mom!" his mother stared at him and gasped and said, "Kima...You must run. Take your brother and sister with you. They are coming! The rebellions!" His mother gasped for more air, "Kima you must go and find your kind. Go find the blessed ones. Look at the stars and they will guide you. Remember this, you must see the three scales and tell them about this. Also look for the one star that is always beside the moon. That star will guide you. Kima you must go. Please take care of your sister and brother. You are the last one. The last celestial dragon..." Kima's mother sighed and closed her eyes. "Wait wait! Who? What? Where?" Kima was so confused then he sighed and sat down. He then started to cry. How could they do this. His family was just a peaceful living family.
Kima padded over to his brother and sister. Aku was uninjured, but Seila had a gash across her eyes. He quickly went to search for some herbs and came back. While he worked with the treatment. Seila coughed and said, "Kima...I'm scared. I saw what happened." Kima said, "I know. I know...I wish nothing happened to..." He then used a soft kind of bark and a leaf to bandage the wound. He told Seila to rest and went over to Aku. His brother was still sleeping and Kima sighed. He didn't want his brother to go on a rampage.

Kima saw himself running through the forest. He didn't know why he was running, but in the back of his mind he knew that whatever is behind him is a horrible thing. Kima ran as fast as his legs could take him. Soon he saw a light through an opening in the trees. He headed towards the light, but saw that it was a dead end. In front of him was a cliff that points to nowhere. Kima walked towards the edge and looked down. He saw nothing. Kima couldn't see the bottom at all. He heard a growl behind him and he whipped around, just in time to dodge a swipe. The swipe made a huge gust that almost knocked Kima over. He saw that the enemy was a huge shadow; then the ground gave away and he fell down into the darkness.
Kima plunged towards the never ending darkness
He just kept on falling.
Never stopping...
Kima woke up with a start and stared around him. He was still in the destroyed den with his brother and sister. On his right Aku was still sleeping like a bear on hibernation and on his left was his little sister Seila sleeping. Kima sighed with relief realizing that it was all a dream. He stood up quietly and decided to go outside for a breath of fresh air. The sky was clear and the wind was blowing gently. Kima didn't know what to do know. His home was destroyed and his mother was killed. He also didn't know what to tell Aku when he wakes up. Kima heard a footstep behind him and saw Seila wobbling forward towards him. Her little sister eyes were covered and she couldn't see anymore. Kima hurried towards her to support her. "Kima. Is that you?" she asked. "Yes. Don't worry I am here, same as Aku." Kima replied. Seila sat beside Kima and said, "What are we going to do now?" Kima didn't even know how to answer to this question, but he remembered his mother's last words. "We need to follow the star that is the closest one to the moon and try to find the blessed ones or so that is what mother said." Kima said. As he has expected Seila tilted her head not knowing what that meant. "HEY!" Kima and Seila heard a shout behind them. They both turned around and saw Aku with a confused and angry face. "What is the meaning of this?!" He said again, but this time more calmly. Kima and Seila looked at each other and gritted their teeth. Kima sighed and explained what happened to Aku. After he finished Aku just stared at Kima like he just told a huge lie. "That's impossible. Mother can't die. She is the strongest!" Aku said not believing anything Kima just said. Kima saw tears running down Aku's face even though he was trying his hardest to stay strong. "I don't believe it...I don't..." He just muttered. Seila frowned and walked over to Aku. "Seila! What happened?! Who did this to you?!" Aku stomped a paw on the ground, "I will take vengeance for your beautiful eyes!" Aku continued. Seila shook her head and said, "It's okay big bro. I don't feel sad or anything; plus I never used my eyes anyways." Aku stared at Seila then at Kima. He sighed then said, "So what are we going to do now?" "We have to find the blessed ones and do to that we need to follow the star that is the closest to the moon. So we are going to wait at night to be able to travel." Seila and Aku nodded their heads. "Well since we are going to wait for night time, why don't we first catch lunch? I will go try to catch something. While you Kima should probably go catch some fish or berries." Aku said then walked off into the woods. Kima told Seila to stay here since she isn't that used to using no eyes.
Kima came back with only one branch of Blueberries and one huge salmon in his jaws. He saw Aku across him coming out of the woods with only a grouse. They both set them down on the floor in front of Seila. "Well this should be enough for us." Kima said. The sun just started to set and the moon was creeping up behind the mountains. "Let's eat!" said Seila happily. They all dug into the food. When they finished Aku and Seila lied to rest while Kima stand guard. After a few hours Kima looked at the skies searching for the star that is closest to the moon. After a few more minutes he finally spotted it. A huge red star beside the moon. Kima woke both of his siblings up and told them to follow the star. Aku yawned and Seila stretched her body. "Well are we ready?" Aku said. Both of them nodded their heads and they set off to find the blessed ones.
Kima and his two siblings walked through the dead silence of the night. It was so quiet that you can hear a fly buzz around. Seila walked behind Aku, while Kima took the lead. He followed the star, but whatever he did it seemed like they were going nowhere. The group had walked for hours and now they are in the middle of nowhere. "Can we rest for a little bit?" Seila asked. Kima said yes and they all sat down for a while. Aku sniffed the air. He growled and said, "Tch. Wolves." Seila trembled and Aku sniffed the air once more. Aku continued, "About a whole pack of them. Maybe about twelve or more." Kima knew this was trouble since they couldn't defeat a whole pack of wolves or even worse the wolves will kill them. "We got to hurry." Kima said and pushed Seila up to her feet.
They all started to run. Kima decided to switch spots with Aku and let him take the lead for now. He can now hear the howls and growls of the wolves. They started to run even faster, but it seems like the wolves catch up pretty fast. They ran for a few hours, but the wolves were still at their trail. Seila collapsed and shook her head. Aku tried to carry her, but he collapsed since he too was tired. Kima bit his tongue and saw that the wolves have completely surrounded them. Kima circled around his siblings to try to protect. The wolves all had hungry looks on them and started to slowly approach them. One huge wolf stepped in front of them and said, "Halt." All of the wolves all stopped. A bold looking wolf came up to the huge wolf and the huge wolf said, "I am the beta of this pack and you are trespassing into our territory." "We didn't mean to trespass into your territory. Look we just want to follow the stars." , Kima said. "Nonsense! You have trespassed into our territory and you will pay for it!", the beta snapped and growled. "Stop Bone. Your just making things worse." ,the bold looking wolf said. "But sir..." , Bone started to speak. The bold looking wolf snapped at him and Bone just bowed his head. " I am sorry for my partner's behaviour. I am Birch and I am the Alpha of this pack. I know you do not mean harm, but that doesn't explain why you entered our territory." , Birch said. Bone said, "Sir. I suggest we punish them." Birch snapped at Bone and he cowered and bowed his head once more. "We are just following the star sir.", Kima said deciding to use formal speech. Birch looked at the skies and nodded. "It's almost daytime soon and in this place the daytime is extremely dangerous. Why don't you come to our camp at rest until it's night time again?", Birch offered. Kima nodded and said, "That would be gladly appreciated." Kima shook Seila and Aku awake and explained what happened. "Oi Kima. I don't like what they are doing. They could be planning bad stuff.", Aku said. "It's going to be okay big brother. I trust them.", Seila said to Aku. Aku stared at Seila and sighed. He finally nodded and Kima said, "Lead the way." Birch gestured to his pack and they all headed back. Kima, Seila and Aku followed them back.
When they got to the camp. Kima saw lots of wolves about. The pups were play fighting and the females were all talking. When they got there. The wolves all stopped what they were doing except the ones that went out to hunt with Bone and Birch. Birch explained to the pack what is going on and they all yipped and howled and returned to what they were doing. Bone looked at the group with a killing stare and Aku stared right back. Birch said, "You will stay in the corner next to my Bone's den." Bone groaned said, "I am going to see if I can catch another prey. I am going to take a hunt party with me." Birch nodded and watched Bone assemble his party. Birch told the group to rest up then he went to his duties. Seila walked over to the corner and lied down to rest. Aku went with her too. Kima decided to rest up with them. Kima closed his eyes and let sleep over take him.
