of course there are rule of being in sky breath, one is that you don't give into the scorchfangs, the ones who live in a nation called flame feather nation, our enemies and also the nation who likes to steal our food, equipment and kill our people.

there is also death secret nation, where the horrible people live, the people you would never even dream of, even flame feather nation runs away at their name.

anyways, as i said, this is a warning, hide your soul even if you think you are safe.

---War. That all they talk about right now. By they I mean our fighting forces and everyone knows that it won't be long before a war does brake out and if they don't they are just deaf or plain dumb. There are those people in my nation -the Sky breath nation- who think that the Sky breath will be too peaceful to be in the war but if you real think about it there is no way we could stay out of the war because it will be a war against us, the Skybirds.

---Oh, I should probably introduce myself. I am Marie Smith but if you call me that I will slit your throat. My "real" name is Crimson rose. I'm sixteen and I have a younger brother, Victor Smith, the Ash boy. He hates being called that so just call him Victor. I don't really know why they call him Ash boy, I personality think that that's mean but our superiors don't think so I guess. Our superiors are the ones who decide our name name for the nation, they also make our rules and decide what happens to people if they don't follow our rules.

---I right now am in the gathering house of the Sky breath nation. It is where the poor and the orphans get their food and fresh water. Everyday is the same dull, tasteless food. Always half a loaf of stale bread and tomato soup. But it is better then nothing so Victor and I eat it or we starve.

---I stand beside Victor and our raggedy, too small clothes. I was holding his hand like I always do, rubbing the back of his pale and small hand with my thumb. He was always scared, I could tell. He was always scared that one day he would wake up and I would disappear one day without a sound and he would be left and he knew that would happen soon.


---Soon they would come to collect me. Early in the morning and without a trace. Neither of us would know when, I would just disappear. Of to the army to fight. I snap away from my trance and look up to see a man walking over with a tray, having two bowls of tomato soup and one half of a stale loaf of bread sticking out from it. Victor and I both pick up the steaming bowls. The bowls were very, very hot. I looked over at Victor to see him gobbling down the stale bread then drinking the soap straight from the bowl but I on the other hand just watched the steam come from the bowl.

---Whish. I heard the sound as a swished my medium length iron sword. I looked at the other people standing around me, men and women preparing themselves for the war. Hello, I am Natalie Sprig and I am a part of the Flame feather nation's army, I have been since I was fourteen, two years in total.

---As you may or may not know, the Flame feather nation has a plan to invade and attack the Sky breath nation, I personality know that our nation's leader, Maximo Suomi, did try to make plans to invade with the Death secret nation so that they could take down the Sky breath nation and not even have a chance of failing, and again as you my have guess they were too secretive(hints the name Death secret)to do anything, whatever.

---My leader, the army's leader, Opal Rain, told us that we were horrible at sword fighting and everything. I really brought up my spirits, not, as if I wasn't already mad enough that we had to invade the Sky breath's without the help of the Death secrets. Anyways, I had to train or I would be punished.


---I started to train, swishing the sword i had been given then suddenly i could feel someone watching me and looked behind me to see an older guy looking at me. I narrowed my eyes at him then he looked away. I suddenly heard and noise and ran outside of the small tent we were training in to see a coward of people with swords fighting of another crowd and I could tell, one was from the Death secret nation and one was from ours, the war had officially begun.

---I knew that if we wanted to live that we should have teamed up with the Flame feather nation, but I also knew that they would try to control us. I know that I think like the Death secret leader - Tsuki Suki - who just happens to be my mother. Many think she is cruel but if you ever lived in Death Secret then you would know of how she brings us power and great knowledge.

---Since I think like my mother I knew that the battle between the Flame feather nation and my nation - Death secret - would happen long before it had even become an idea of my mother's. So as we ran in I knew that we would win. I drew my sword and I was ready to fight.

---I watched as a man ran over to me with an iron sword. He had gray and graying hair and a wrinkled face.

"Coming to fight grandpa"? I asked with a laugh, knowing I would win this battle.

I lifted my sword and slashed at him. He lifted his sword, using it as a shield to protect himself. I laughed then dropped my hold down, making him slam his sword deep in to the hard soil. I quietly kicked his legs out from under him and pinned him under my foot.

You better be glad that we are just stealing all your troops today or you would already be dead", I told him then bound his legs and arms together.

"You can't win this! Flame feather will win", he called to me as he was carried away by two of my men

"Sure you will", I said with a sarcastic laugh.

---As the fight kept going I climbed up a hill on the Flame feather territory just to watch and take a breath. In a normal war this was not allowed but I could see that Death secret didn't need my help, they were too far ahead.'

---From the spot where are sat I could see a building all the way from Sky breath. It was tall but not as tall as some I had seen as my short time as a ghost. I had seen people that didn't live in meaningless nations like we did. People who could make beautiful things. People who loved each other. I has seen many things in my sort time a traveler of the world with my mother.

---Two nights I had spent away from my little brother. In the middle of the night two nights ago the army had come to take me away to train with the army and I was already ready to go back to my old life. At least the food was better with the army but even my brother and I's small shelter under the big oak tree had been more protection from the elements then the small raggedy tent that the army had stuck newbies in.

---All though our three kingdoms inside of the one country we lived in had no government they all did have armies and rulers which didn't work to help the people. The army was formed by the ruler of our kingdom, Crystal whom has no last name. Crystal is a cold-hearted ruler who killed the last ruler, we respect her because we know that if we don't she will have her ghost friends come and attack the kingdom. Anyway, Crystal only formed the army to help protect her kingdom- though she wouldn't shed a tear if we lost a few hundred people- and mostly herself. Other then that the army was formed to take over the other kingdoms.

---As I was lost in my thoughts I suddenly heard the movement of the thin sheets of fabric the made up the small tent I was living in. I looked to see it was a girl -Sapphire Leaf- that shared the tent with me.

"Hey", I mumbled having no interest in talking to her.

"Yo", she replied quietly then slumped down in the semi-corner of the tent.

---We both looked up as we heard another movement of the sheets. I looked to see on of our commanders. He was a scary looking man with many scars and a grim face, I didn't know his name and I was sure I didn't want to, he seemed like the kind of person to whack you over the head with a long stick if you did something wrong.

"Come girls, Crystal is here to talk to the army", he said with a deep voice.

Neither Sapphire Leaf nor myself argued with the man and we both walked towards the opening in the sheets and out into the open field of grass that the Sky Breath army was training on, the closest to Flame Feather nation I have ever been.

---I looked up to see a strong woman with a large scar over her eye looking down at the crowd. She has long black hair and slightly slanted brown eyes which gave her a bit of an Asian appearance. She was wearing a shiny suit of silver armor and also had a long red cape that was swaying in the breeze at the height she was standing. She was standing on a large platform of wood that stood at least ten feet off the ground and I knew at the moment I saw her she was Crystal.

---Crystal had her hand on something on her belt and suddenly pulled out an iron sword which made a whoosh as it was pulled from hiding. She lifted it high in the air then slammed it into the wood making splinters fly everywhere and made me cover my face with my arm as I was close to the front.

"You will now turn your attention to me"! She yelled, calling for ordering in the muttering crowd.

"I have come to tell you word on the battle of Flame Feather and Death Secret. Death Secret are overpowering Flame Feather and soon we will march in battle to help Flame Feather", she said but I know that she had to be planning something other then just helping Flame Feather.

---the battle had been raging on for hours and with not break, i had been hiding in a small building, under a cot as death secret ravaged the train camp. i felt that may own kingdom of death secret had no chance of winning, which why i was hiding. i had heard the our troops were being stolen but our upper ranks were being killed.

---i suddenly heard sound of a door banging to the dirt ground. i covered my mouth with my hand, trying to let no noise escape by lips but it didn't seem possible and when the two death secret warrior walked into my room i felt that i would be taken right up from my spot.

---but i seemed to be lucky and the two didn't see me, though they looked under and through most things. one who was tall and looked to be old than the other walked out into the doorway and called to a group, "no one in here! i think we have them all," in a husky and gruff voice. i felt lucky but i was soon doomed.

---a girl walked in, her face was hidden in the shadows but she looked like the death secret army leader. she was not as a much of a air brain as the two men. she flipped my cot right over and gave me a grim smile. "skybrains! you missed her and she was right under you're nose," the girl said then grabbed me by the wrist..

---i was fast to react, grabbing an iron sword off of the wall and swinging at her but she was quicker to react, pushing me to the ground then stepping on my arm to stop me, just after that punching me in the head so hard i almost pasted out. i had been caught.

---but just them the boy that had been looking at me earlier ran in, striking the girl hard with the sword that use to belong to our general and that was all i saw before i blacked out.
