vic is mentally ill. he has adhd (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder),
npd (narcissistic personality disorder), and dpd (dependent personality
disorder). i gave him these disorders because i also have them and believe
it will help me feel closer to vic and his character in general. in no way
did i do this just to make him seem cool and edgy. due to these disorders,
vic is very unfocused, hyper, self-obsessed, non-empathetic, and depen-
dent on other people he is close to. he was diagnosed by a professional
around the ages of 9-12. this does, as it does to all mentally ill people,
affect his life in multiple ways. his attention can easily be diverted from
important assignments, projects, or school work, and thus he often forgets
to or doesn't finish these important things. when trying to comfort people,
he often fails due to lack of empathy, and can seem like he doesn't care
about what others have to say because he usually focuses on talking about
himself. often vic uses other people as a crutch and can be clingy to those
he is close to and have known for a while. generally he tries staying stable
and letting others talk/have space but that really isn't his decision.
