You put your best foot forward
And others aim to step on it.
Not to stop you from tumbling over,
But to forestall you from progressing.
Behold, their intentions will be
Immensely unsuccessful!
They will fail, they will plummet,
They will not perceive your victory.
So tread lightly, gingerly,
For they'll succumb beneath your feet.
