~Chapter 6- Snack Time Before Smash Time~
Once Dark Pit found the kitchen, he walked inside. Wonder what there is to eat. He thought, looking around, I think I want an apple or something... Or maybe...some cake. He then looked at one of the counters and spotted a plate with a cake lid over it. He smiled and licked his lips, rubbing his hands together while thinking of eating some delicious cake.
I hope no one pulled some sick joke and made it vegetable flavored or something... He thought before pulling a disgusted face, Because that would be gross... Even the thought of vegetarian cake makes me sick... He put a hand over his stomach as his cheeks puffed out. Yeah, I'm...grossing myself out here. He then thought, I-I need to stop that... Really.
He then lifted the silver cake lid and his red eyes sparkled when he saw a rich chocolate cake on the plate, and it was a whole one, too.
Wow... He thought, his mouth watering at the sight of the cake, This cake looks...delicious... I've never seen anything like it back where I live. And the only cakes we get there are burnt and, well...blecch! I'd rather eat- or at least try- floor ice cream, 'cause I bet it tastes better since Pit loves it so much. Besides, Palutena doesn't have the best cooking in the world... She even made burgers and the meat was...ugh! I mean, it was burnt and black as charcoal... And somehow Pit liked it...a little...
He then chuckled before thinking, Actually at first he thought he liked it but he soon spit it out. And that dumb goddess didn't even know what was wrong with her cooking! He then started laughing to himself. So Palutena ended up buying burgers from a restaurant instead! He then wiped a tear from his eye after laughing. Man, that was classic.
After laughing, he cut himself a slice of the cake and put it on a plate. He then walked over to the table in the kitchen and started to eat it. Okay, forget planning for right now... He thought, I'm just going to enjoy myself with this cake.
~Time skip~
After eating, Dark Pit rinsed off the plate he used and placed it in the sink. Now, what to do... He thought as he looked around, Eh, maybe I can go see what Pit-Stain's doing... From a distance... I don't really want him bugging me.
He then walked outside and saw no sign of Pit by the fountains. What the heck!? He thought, Where did Pit-Stain go this time? He then sighed. Oh, right... He's probably sulking in his room or something. He then smirked. My bad!
~To Pit~
Pit was back inside the Smash Mansion, with Palutena of course. Suddenly, the intercom came on and the announcer's voice spoke through it.
“I KNOW EVERYONE HAS PROBABLY MET THE NEWCOMERS BY NOW, SO NOW IT'S TIME FOR A BATTLE!!! THE FIRST ROUND IS: PALUTENA VS. PIT VS. DARK PIT!!! HOPEFULLY EVERYONE'S EXCITED FOR THIS, AND I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE A GOOD ONE SINCE ALL THREE COME FROM KID ICARUS: UPRISING!!! SMASHERS, PLEASE GO TO THE BATTLE AREA!! AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!”
Pit gulped after the announcement was made. What? He thought, his eyes widened with fear, D-Did...he just say...me vs. Dark Pit vs. Lady Palutena? O-Oh boy... He then sighed as he got up and followed Lady Palutena out of the room.
~Time skip~
When Pit and Palutena got to the battle area, Dark Pit and the other smashers were there and there was tension in the air.
The smashers who were battling walked up on the stage, the stage theme being Reset Bomb Forest since it was from their respective game, Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Pit gulped and was a bit shaky after getting up on the stage. He looked nervously at the crowd of smashers who were watching before focusing back on his opponents. C'mon, Pit... He thought to himself, Y-You can do this! You've taken on harder things in the past here, especially when you helped beat the bad guys in the last game... And since this is Smash Bros., I should really stop breaking the fourth wall here, shouldn't I?
Dark Pit rolled his eyes before looking at Pit. “What's wrong, Pit-Stain?” He asked, no sign of caring or anything in his voice, “Feeling nervous? Well I can't help but feel sorry for ya!” He smirked after finishing.
“S-Shut up!!” Pit snapped, trying not to sound nervous and trying to hide the fact that he was, “I-I'm not nervous because I've done this before! You should be nervous since this is your first time here!”
“Oh, I am.” Dark Pit said, rolling his eyes. “I'm so nervous!!” He added before laughing, “Not!”
Pit sighed, feeling more annoyed now than nervous. That's so helping, Pittoo. He thought sarcastically as he rolled his eyes, That's just so helping me right now!
He appears in Kid Icarus: Uprising (released somewhere in 2012) and he also appears as an unlockable character in Smash 4 for 3DS/Wii U in 2014. 
When I first got interested in him was Smash Bros. 4 (for 3DS, of course) and I even looked him up the day I unlocked him. He's a pretty interesting character if you ask me. He's hated for being a clone in Smash but in Uprising his battle style is different from Pit's. And about two weeks before summer break started, my friend in school decided to get Uprising to try it and see how it is (or something) and the week before summer break he gave me a $50 eShop card so I could get the game myself and I love it!! 
And before I looked Dark Pit up on Divinipedia, I didn't know about Kid Icarus. 
Seriously...
