*This is my first time really writing a story, ANY feedback would be amazing! Please tell me what you think, I will post chapter by chapter I have some pre-written but eventually I will be using this to continue what I have already written, and also please do not steal. This topic and story means a lot to me, I love animals and am going to really put my soul into this!*

Ch.1:
I don't remember much about the day I was born. I couldn't see or hear, all I was able to do was sleep and eat. Cuddling in the warm embrace of my mother and siblings as I grew. Eventually, after what felt like forever light started to seep threw my Eyes and I could hear more and more each day. Now, I'm a big strong pup! Eyes and Ears open to the world.
The air suddenly left my lungs, and I went flying side ways doing a complete roll, getting my footing I stood up dazed. Catching my breath I see my sister Lilith dashing away, she stopped, looked back eyes glossy with excitement, Tongue dangling out of her mouth. She jumped around, paws slapping the ground she put her head low and rump in the air, just asking for a game of chase!
Out of eight pups, she and I were the biggest. Momma told us stories all the time about finding families, during one of them she had said we are Blue Nose Pit Bulls. I am still unsure of what that really means, I did ask mom but she rambled about something in our "Lines". She says it's where we came from, but then I saw a Squirrel and found trying to catch him was more interesting.
Once I got my breathing to normal I darted after Lilith, she spun around and took off. I was stronger than Lilith but she was a lot faster. She snapped a green rope toy off the ground, twisted and bolted back in my direction with such ferocity that a dirt trail flew up behind her. Just then, the door into the house opened. We aren't allowed in the house but mom and dad are. Sometimes heavenly smells drift out the crack in the door, mom would come out with the smell lingering on her mouth, telling us of human foods called Steak, and Chicken. I want it so bad, at times the smell makes my mouth water.
I looked towards the door as mom and dad ran out, Lilith and my other sister Chunk ran to mom. Lilith gave mom affection, licking her jaw line while Chunk tried to nurse. Chunk is my only sibling that still tries to drink mothers milk.
Dave, our human walked out with two other unfamiliar humans behind him. They laughed and smiled showing weird square teeth as Dave put his fingers to his lips, whistling. He was calling us, a sound we recognized as the food time call.
We all ran over, swarming his feet yipping and crying for food. The two humans came over and picked up Chunk, "Oh sweetie! Look how chubby, Steph will love her!" the female exclaimed in a high-pitched voice. "We'll take this one." The male human said as the female petted and gushed over Chunk. I looked at mom, her and dad sat side-by-side watching. Who are these people?
The male human was handing something to Dave, I walked up and sniffed his feet, circling his legs. He smelled like sweat and mud. He bent down and patted my head the other pups ran over sniffing him as well. I looked up at him, "who are you?" I whined.
"Tuck sweetie, you know humans can't understand us." I look up at my mother, she licked the humans hands and wagged her tail as the three of them walked inside with Chunk. I scanned my father, I admire him so much. I want to look like him when I'm older. Big muscles covered his body, they protruded no matter what stance he took. A huge head, with jaw muscles like nothing I've ever seen. One day I saw him catch a Squirrel. He bit it once and the Squirrels body crushed, blood flew everywhere, there was a loud crunch and squeak as the Squirrel went limp.
"You all remember how I told you one day you would all get homes?"
My attention snapped to my mother, I nodded that I indeed did remember.
"Today most of you will find that home. That is why those people took Chunk. They liked her, so they took her home."
"Mom! Mom! What if we don't like our home?" Whined my sister Pip Squeak.
"It is in a dogs nature to love and obey. The Pit Bull has a very mixed up Gene line, some pit bulls even share blood lines of the annoying Poodle next door because humans just breed so much. Even Pure bred's come from a combination of dogs, so no matter what never believe you are less than another dog. We are all bred to love, obey and protect our masters no matter what. So, regardless of who you go to your job is to do so. Never let my words leave your minds little ones, now go play." Mom looked at dad, he nodded and they went to the door scratching until the got let inside.
"Hmph, even if I like my owner I like doing what I want even more." Lilith growled, two others agreed.
I walked off looking or something to do. Grabbing a chew bone I laid under a tree enjoying the shade. I lay there as people came and went, taking my brothers and sisters one by one. I don't want a new home. My father may be stuck up always bragging about how proud he is to be a Pure bred American Bulldog, and that we should feel special we have his genes. Mother on the other paw, is so wise and caring, she's always there for us, and explains things in ways just so perfect. Although I always looked up to and loved her, father has always made me stare in amazement wondering what it would feel like to be that powerful, I don't want to leave either of them. I want to live here forever.
A booming human laugh rang threw my ears, I jumped and wiggled hoping none of my siblings noticed how startled I had gotten. I looked up to see a large man with Dave, Pip squeak ran to his feet wiggling her tail so hard her whole body shook in unison. Cooper was running towards the man as well, I scanned the yard, nobody else. We must be the last three remaining.
Dave called me over, I pondered whether I should go or not, but doing as mother told us I obeyed my current master and made my over. The man ignored Pip Squeak and picked up Cooper, I walked around him smelling his feet they smelt of a strong musk, dirt, and other dogs. I let out a puff of air, and kicked my feet as I was suddenly lifted into the air. It was the man, he had picked me up, put me and Cooper side by side. He put Cooper down and slightly smiled at me, I realized I should have stayed under the tree, I was about to leave with this man. I wiggled and growled hoping he would change his mind and put me down. He handed Dave something and we entered the house, mom and dad looked up I cried as we passed them.
"Mom! Stop him, I don't want to leave!"
She put her head down and we left the house.
