I am currently a non-owner and will be trying out for Tod [Fox]

i will be pairing up with Arendelle, a Plumerian Owner.
They will be trying out for Copper [Hound Dog]

Relationship with each other:
Tod and Copper have always been the best friends, those two
that are bound at the hip, in every friend group. They are
closer than brothers, but that doesn’t mean they don’t bicker.
Their conflicting personality leads to frequent disputes; whether
it’s Copper warning Tod to be more careful or Tod trying to
persuade Copper to have a little bit of fun.

Their opposite attitudes don’t always pull them apart, however.
Both have learned from the other. Copper, over the course of
knowing Tod, has loosened up quite a bit. He’s far from daring,
but he and Tod have gone on some pretty daring adventures
(even if Tod had to drag him along). And Tod has learned to
become a bit more in tune with his emotions. Though he doesn’t
like to seem weak in front of Copper, he has become more
compassionate towards him. He is sensitive to his friend’s
sensitivities, and plays a key role in comforting him. The two
may drive each other off the walls, but their bond always brings
them together in the end.

Tod is much like a caretaker to Copper, though they are equally
dependent on one another. He helps to calm and settle Copper
when he starts crying, and constantly pushes him to be more
adventurous. Copper hugely looks up to Tod, the prominent leader
of the duo.

Both, however, are insecure about the relationship. They both fear
that, one day, their differences will cause their separation. While
Copper fears that Tod will leave him to hang out with “cooler” friends,
Tod fears that they were never friends to begin with. Both truly know
that they will forever remain best friends, yet the fear of splitting up
is ever lurking.
Personalities:
Copper (482/500 words)
All Copper has ever wanted to be is like Tod: cool,
carefree, and mischievous. Unfortunately, he’s quite the opposite. His
sweet and innocent nature is a far cry from Tod’s dare-devilish personality,
but he has nonetheless gone to great lengths to change. He tries his best
to be daring by frequently shoplifting candy bars and other small trinkets,
but becomes overcome with guilt and ends up returning them to the store.
Try as he might, he has never been quite as risky and sophisticated as his
best friend.

But what Copper lacks in maturity he makes up for in wisdom. He’s an
observer, and uses the many situations which he has overseen to give advice
to those that are willing to listen to and trust his small, squeaky voice. He’s
also far more sensible than Tod, and believes in exercising caution whenever
possible. He can, however, be overly cautious at times… or all the time.
Tod’s daringness, while he admires it, gives him all kinds of anxiety. He
knows that he can’t change him, but he can warn him that he’s likely to die
before his next birthday if he keeps thinking he’s invincible.

That’s not to say, however, that Copper doesn’t have his values. He’s the
more emotionally open of the pair, and willingly wears his heart on his sleeve.
He sees no good coming from hiding his emotions, and so he doesn’t bother
trying. He is, for the most part, proud to be an open book. He also can’t stand
to see others physically or emotionally hurt, and will do anything to make a
teary friend crack a smile in the way he does best- by being his quirky, lovable
self. He’s a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear, always available and willing to help.

Unfortunately, Copper also needs quite a bit of emotional help of his own. He’s
incredibly sensitive, and cries over the most seemingly insignificant things. He’s
been known to cry simply because he has nothing to cry about, and he’s sniffling
and drying his tears more often than not. Anything said to Copper must first be run
through a very fine filter in order to avoid upsetting him. Though his babyish traits
are endearing at first, very few can stand to be around him for more than a few hours
because of them. Even Copper can’t stand his own sensitivity. He thinks that it makes
him seem weak and dependent, the image that he tries so desperately to shed.

Copper is convinced that his dependency makes him a burden, that his weaknesses far
outnumber his strengths. But Copper knows that he means something to at least one
other being in the world: Tod. And that means the world to him. Though Copper may
be a worrisome crybaby, he is truly just a fun-loving pup with more emotions than he
knows what to do with.

Tod (356 words/500)
Tod is always trying to look after Copper, but is always taken to his own little world.
He's always getting himself into trouble, but is always quick enough to run away before
anyone realizes it was him that had done whatever it was that was bad.
Tod dislikes how strict his family is towards him, but never pays attention to the
lectures he receives.

Tod is always trying something new, whether it be bouncing off of walls or trying to
skateboard while making chocolate milk, his spunky attitude always leads him to fun
yet dangerous activities. However, with Copper always trailing behind him, he isn't
always able to do risky actions he's always dreamed of doing.

Due to Copper always crying, Tod has learned how to comfort others. He's known for
whispering sweet nothings and always trying to cheer Copper up, even when he doesn't
know why he's even crying. Although he's the 'leader' of the duo, Tod does make mistakes
at times. Tod has never cried in front of Tod, mainly because he doesn't want Copper
to think of him as being weak or powerless.

Whenever Copper tells Tod he'll die before his next birthday, Tod always replies with a
scoff and, "If I'm dead, then you won't have to worry anymore, right?" Although Copper
is always following Tod, Tod actually fears the day Copper will leave him. He's scared
that one day, Copper will say their entire relationship is a joke and that Copper never
wanted to be friends from the beginning. Of course, Tod knows this would never happen,
but he still gets fearful every now and then.

Tod always states he's immune to pain, which everyone knows is not true. However,
what they don't know is Tod actually has an illness in which he can't feel some parts
of his body. These areas are actually his right front paw, the tip of his tail and his
muzzle. However, he definitely does not let this get in the way of his fun. Although
he's not sure why this even happens to him, he still lives a grand life with a ton
of friends.
