I know how you feel. I spent like two days doing nothing for my story and everything for my thread. And now it just looks slightly decent.

So I need thoughts on this...

Spencer laughed and changed the subject.
"So I work for Geek Squad, and Tobes here is an author. What do you guys do?"
"I'm a doctor." Desmond said. Then Delta:
"History teacher." Mack raised her hand.
"Mechanic. I got a letter to go work on this engine they're building. You guys?"
"Medical seminar." Desmond said. Delta piped in.
"History seminar."
"Technical support for some thing. And ya know, my dashing - ow!" Spencer glared at Toby, who'd just punched his arm.
"You don't even know what I was gonna say!"
"Yes I do, you idiot. 'And ya know, my dashing good looks.' You say it every time you get called somewhere." Toby said, rolling his eyes. This started the laughing again, but this time, even Toby joined in. Spencer, fine with being made fun of, laughed too. But then things calmed back down.
"You two act like an old married couple." Mack observed. Spencer nodded.
"We practically are. I mean, we live together and all -"
"As roommates. We're not married or practically married, just friends." Toby interrupted.
But then, one of the flight attendants (who was wearing a cape and star spangled banner boxer shorts instead of a skirt, and sandals) walked by and said,
"I ship it." Then walked away, disappearing into the cockpit. Toby looked embarrassed, while Spencer just seemed overall confused.
"I don't understand." And, whether he was aware of it or not, he automatically looked to Toby for an explanation.

I really enjoyed reading this! The relationship between Toby and Spencer is really cute. I'm very interested to see more hate/love moments between those two- I definitely ship it! Poor Toby. I'd hate to explain that, lol

Loading, I've had to explain shipping before so I feel Toby's pain (even though I caused it...)
There'll be a lot more of these moments throughout he whole thing. Even without the ship, I love writing these little scenes.

Gah me too. When you pair together two characters, there's always that part where you can't stop imagining cute scenes and funny images and when you finally get to writing it, it's like you can't stop writing about them lol- at least that's what I feel like; and building up their relationship to the point where they finally kiss and such- ahh!! It's just so rewarding.

I'll be completely honest - they're already together, but I'm evil and like torturing readers, so they won't know that they're together until a certain point in the book.

I have too much trouble developing romantic relationships during a story, so I tend to start them beforehand and just work with it, if that makes sense.
