Type, With writing my handwriting sucks, people have even said it to my face so that's a no go. Also my hand hurts if I write to long.

Type. My hand writing sucks and is so slow that by the time I've written down one sentence, my brain has gone through five. I started with typing, too. However, I am a fast typist, so my brain and hands can flow at the same pace, keeping me from forgetting major sentences.

And I'm not going to start on the chipmunk story right now, Nom, if you were speaking to me. Honestly, I shouldn't. I really need to stop making new stories and work on old ones or rewrite the really old ones. Maybe if I did that, I'd have more finished stories. I used to finish stories all the time back when I was first writing, now every single "current" one is unfinished, waiting for my easily distracted mind to go back to it. I swear, if stories were actually able to create alternate universes (think Once Upon a Time), then all my characters would hate me for being left in limbo. XD If they don't hate me enough for all the stuff I put them through.

sometimes both. i have a few stories in big notebooks that i've written just for me.
somehow its different on paper. it feels more personal.

Join the club, my friend. I do that all the time. So far I have three stories in progress, a couple I want to start, and two or three I need to rewrite. And then I get another idea, and the process starts again... Such fun! XD

I prefer to typo so that I can share the stories. I have sloppy handwriting too so no one would be able to read it.
