Anyone else have problems with to many story ideas?

Want to know how I pushed through that? I found a way to combine them. C:
Or if you mean ideas for scenes in the same story, I separate the ones I want to write that aren't necessary to the story, so that I can still have them and not have to deal with them tugging at my mind.

Ok, i have been stuck on gems for my Steven universe can fiction, so if ppl could get me some gems, I have the main gems, like pearl and stuff but I am out of characters.

I don't know anything about Steven Universe, but I bet you could find the different characters/gems by googling it. c: Google is very helpful!

And silver, try writing out the scenes, then think the most imaginative you can get, that stay within the story. And sometime referencing can help you with story block, even if it is just callong a character salt mom or something, hope this helps. It works for me lol

What inspires you/where do you get ideas for your writing, and how to you stay motivated?
Reading and life.
There's not much to it XD Also songs are a nice way to motivate me.

What inspires you/where do you get ideas for your writing, and how to you stay motivated?

My inspiration is my ceaseless need to live in a world outside my own reality. It is so lame so it is very entertaining to throw myself in make-believe worlds. I also draw inspirations from events around me, music I listen to, and my own mood. When I am super depressed, oddly enough, I write my best stuff. And not the "my life is horrible blah please help me" depression. Sometimes, this rings really true for me, I just need to get sad. When that happens, I write and write until my sadness is all sealed away into creative little boxes of stories.

As for motivation, I find this the hardest thing. When I stop being depressed, my writing slows and sometimes I just can't get the motivation to continue it. But the biggest motivation for me is people reading my stories and telling me they enjoyed it. The feeling is almost addicting and I thrive under it. Weird, right?
