Meaning we've either been busy or lazier than ever.
So. . .
Time for a new Lazy Writer Challenge!
Stories usually have symbols -- existing elements that serve to fulfill a unifying and/or aesthetic interest. As example, protagonists sometimes inherit items in novels. Say, a girl receives a dagger from her grandfather.
That dagger serves two main purposes:
A) It attracts readers (because who doesn't like daggers?)
B) It forms a comparison for the girl's personality. (Is it like her? Is she cunning, stubborn, strong-willed? Or is it a complete about face from herself?)
There are other ways depending upon plot, but that's the base for this week's challenge.
In a nutshell, it's something in your story that has multiple, sometimes hard to read purposes.
(If you understood what I was saying, in other words, continue below.
Symbols
Choose a symbol or two. (I chose three -- candy, cemeteries, and the colour blue, so it really doesn't matter how many or even whether they're related or not.)
Create at least two purposes for each symbol to serve.
Either make a new story for it, or insert it into an old plot.
(Basically, experiment with significance challenge.)

I have participated in the Lazy Writer Challenge!
(At the very least, I managed to understand what the challenger was saying.)
