oh awesome, I have a lot, here are my favorite three though XD
The Sun
Morning is dark, and crisp, and still,
Until the light with brightness fills,
And throws it's rays upon the hills,
Bursting from the sun.
Up o'er the ocean tide it falls,
And stirs the birds, which soar and call,
To gaze upon, and know this all,
Signals the day that has begun.
Burning, reaching, casting light,
To chase away the dark of night,
And stretch and spread it's golden might,
Liquid warmth from fire spun.
And as it sinks below the sky,
Daylight fades, and slowly dies,
Clouds burning red to catch man's eye,
Reveals the day has come undone.
Aspire
Paint the stars with silver light,
Walk on water, the rain despite.
Come here, come near, come find your wings,
I'll dance with you on Saturn's rings.
The world spreads out before us now,
The rarest sight we've been allowed,
The angels sing and beckon, call,
We laugh, we dive, and then freefall.
The whales soar high in atmosphere,
You'll hear their songs, so crystal clear,
While waterfalls pour from the sky,
We watch and live, not asking why.
It seems the day has come to end,
But at the dawn, return, my friend.
And we'll seek out new sights and shows,
With wings reflecting morning's glow.
Immortal
I reach, stretch out and touch the glass...
I'm standing still, so time may pass
I live without a second thought,
A long lost dream, and hopeful naught.
I'm standing here, before the frame
Of mirror, broken, lost, and maimed.
But one large piece survived the years,
Reflections pass, like fallen tears.
The image comes back once again,
It hasn't changed, been worn, or dimmed.
Same person stares right back at me,
A gaze filled with uncertainty.
Observing, my reflection stands.
Same heart, same soul, same face and hands.
I haven't changed, I'm set in stone,
As years go by, I'm left alone.
Expressions dance, weave through my eyes,
With no concern, for stolen lies.
I have lived for centuries,
No one person ever sees,
How I myself, have never changed.
If they had, they'd see the range,
Of years I've lived though, and never aged,
In everlasting body caged.
