Traya took the gem from his hand.
She hummed something and looked at him.
Nar smiled, taking her hand and pulling her under an umbrella.
Traya was confused but suddenly understood when rain started pouring.
"I couldn't have you getting wet" he chuckled, sliding his hands out of hers.
She silently missed the feeling of his unusual warmth.
"Smooth" she rolled her eyes.
She walked closer to him, making him back into the table.
She smirked like she was going to kiss him, holding her lips close to his, taunting him silently.
"You know how to charm a girl"
She suddenly shoved off him.
"You flirt" she folded her arms, smiling with a small glare.

Nar smiled and chuckled "you sure do know how to lead a man on"
he complimented, standing straight.
Traya smiled, knowing her talent.
"So where is this diner you were taking me to?" She wondered aloud.

"Over there"
he pointed to a small building with an 80's theme. She looked at him as if he wasnt putting a lot of effort into this.
She shrugged and started walking, in.
A few short seconds she was soaked.

Nar ran up to her "hey wait!"
He yelled
"I could have brought an umbrella" he said.

Traya looked at him
"yes.. you do that.. because I'm made of sugar and ill melt in the rain."
She said with ni less then a hint of a smile.

Nar smiled "she.. wow.."
he thought as he paused on the sidewalk. Suddenly a car drove by, hitting a large puddle and sending a wave of gross, black water onto Traya.
She gasped, feeling freezing water soak her clothes.
"Wha-?!"
She tensed up, like she always did when freezing cold water came in contact with her sensitive skin.

Nar ran to hher side "Traya!"
He looked at her, his mouth open in surprise. "I'm so sorry"
he tried apologizing.

"It wasn't you fault" she grumbled, shaking her sleeves, sending water everywhere.
Nar walked up to her and set a hand on her shoulder, his warm hands slightly drying her shirt. Traya looked at him, raising and eyebrow.
Nar smiled, a plan forming in his mind.
Before he could speak he was cut off by trayas finger pressed up to his lips.

"No.. just.. no" she glared, then continued ringing out her clothes.

"No what?" He smirked
"no.. this?!"
He suddenly picked Traya up, swinging her around.

Traya squealed as she was swung around.
She wrapped her arms tightly around Nar's neck, hiding her face in his shoulder.
Nar set her down with her still clinging onto him. She was gasping, trying to catch her breath from the jump scare.

"Hey, its ok"
he chuckled, wrapping his aarms around her.

She looked up at him, her wet hair plastered to her cheeks.
She slapped his face, pushing away from him. Nar held his cheek
"Dang you pack quite a slap there!"
he groaned, looking at her with admiration.
She was standing wih a glare and her arms crossed.

"This is exactly what I was talking about!"
She finally said, turnigng and walking away.

"Traya!" He called after her
"I didn't mean to scare you! I was just-" he tried

"Just what? Trying tto charm me into liking you?.. well guess what, its not happening"
She snapped, walking off.

Traya ran to the left
CLANK!
a loud noise shook the small cage she sat in.
She ran aground attempting to get out.
"Help! Help!"
She screamed, scattering the extremely large wood chips oj the ground.
She ran to the glass on the back, seeing her family laughing and pointing.
CLANG!
another ring rattled tthe cage.
She fell over, covering her ears and sodding
CLANG!
CLANK!
CLANG..
clang
Clank.......


Traya woke with a start
"what the heck?"
She thought, seeing she was on the ground beside her bed.
She groaned and rubbed her eyes.
Sitting up and plopping back onto her bed.
She opened her already closed eyes and looked at the clock.

2:27 A.M.

She moaned
"seriously? What the heck! I was sleeping stupid dream!" She grumbled.
Tick
A small noise, sounding like pebbles on glass made her pause.
She waited to see if it was just her imagination.

Silence..

She shrugged, rolled over and closed her eyes.
Tick.
The small noise had returned, traya's eyes shot open, fury deep within them.
She sat up.
Tick... tick.......... tick
She went to her window and pulled the curtains back.
She unlocked it and slide it to the side.
She saw a misty gray figure on the ground. Knowing she looked like a crazed old woman she leaned out, doing her best impression of her grandma kay
"Hey!" She yelled with a raspy voice
"don't you know I was sleepin'?"
She added a little southern accent at the end.
"I have two sons who would love to come and give y'all abeatin'!"

The figures hunched over as if laughing.
"Traya you amaze me" a familiar voice yelled up. Traya's eyes widened to the size of tennis balls

"Y-you?! why?! How?!?"
She started, anger getting in the way of any actual sentences.
"You have some nerve waking me up at 2 freaking 30!"
She yelled, her vision finally clearing up.
Nar stood there, in torn jeans and a leather jacket.
His truck was parked in the driveway.

"Traya I wanted to redo our dinner"
he explained.
"Come down and ill show you a night you will always remebrr"
Traya grumbled, ruffling her already tangled hair. She stepped into her room, argueing with herself.

"Go...go..go.. "
Her heart said
"go be with your love.. do not deny what you feel or want!"

"No! Its a recipe for disaster.
You don't want to fall ffor this hot shot!"
Her brain argued.

She grumbled and pulled on some jeans, a black jacket over her tank and put her hair in a messy bun.
She looked out the window, seeing Nar admiring a rose in his hand.
He looked up and she threw a blanket at him.
He smiled.
Traya opened her door and silently got to the ffront door.
She paused before turning the knob and thought for a moment.

"Oh I'm gonna regret this"
she muttered, walking out into the crisp night air.

They drove up over the hill and parked.
Sage brush and tall weeds surrounded the car. Nar stepped out, along with Traya.
He set the back of the bed of his truck down and spread out a blanket.
Traya came over to him, her arms crossed as the cool night air cut through her sleeves easily.
He lifted her up and set her on the truck.
She squealed and held his arms.
"I really hate it when you do that"
She grumbled, her eyes closed tight.

He smiled , sliding up beside her
"ya.. don't lie to me"

"What?"
She opened her eyes, staring at him ins irprise. "I'm not lying you dummy!"
She punched his arm and wrapped her arms around her, shivering.
Nar put his arm around her

"There's the Traya I know!" He laughs.
She grumbles looking to the side.
He pulled her closer and moved some of her bangs away
"This wont bbe as romantic with you being mad" he said softly in her ear.
She turned to Him and glared, their noses almost touching.
She glanced at his soft tender lips and back at his eyes
"I will act how ever I want!"
She protested. Nar rose an eyebrow, smiling at her.

"And right noe that's frustrated with you, confused and regretting that I actually came.."
she snapped, turning away.

He laughed "what's confusing my dear?"
He asked.

"That! That right there!"
She said quickly, turning back.
"You call me dear, lady, beauty and what not!"

"So your saying you don't like it?"
He smirked.

"No i- I mean yes! I mean... oh I don't know!"
She growled.

"So.. maybe this will clear things up"
he chuckled, gently pulling her face forward until theirvlips touched.
Traya's eyes widened, she rose her hand as if she were about to slap him.
She slowly began to loose herself as she felt his beating heart in harmony with hers.


"I hate you"
She mummbled, feeling his warm hand push her hair back and rest on the back of her neck.

"I know" Nar smiled.
Traya suddenly caught herself, pulling away and running her fingers over her lips.

"You you!"
She stuttered, sliding off the truck.
Nar followed her.
"What? Am I a bad kissers?"
He smirked.
"no you just-! Stop! Stop tying to make me fall for you'"
she snapped.
Nar grabbed her waste, pulling her close to him
"Like this?"
He smiles, kissing her again.
"No!"
She said weakly, slapping him once again. "Stop right now!"

Nar chuckled aand sat on the truck bed again.
"I can drive you home if you wish to leave"
He smiled, twirling another rose in his hand. Traya stared at him as if he were insane

"Are you insane?"
She asked, angry with him
"no, don't answer that. I know you are insane!" She grabbed her blanket roughly and glared at him
"I can get home by myself!"
She turned and walked home.

(This one I think was one of my first writes. I used to be proud of this one.. so haha. It's okay but very poorly written in my opinion)

Traya swung her lets as they dangled from the tail gate of her truck.
The sun was setting and the radio was playing softly in the backeound.


Narukhan spotted a young girl all alone on a truck.
He looked around for her boyfriend surpsied she didn't have one.
He walked over to her and formed a rose out of fire.

"Hello beautiful" he said smoothly.
Traya turned to him and blushed, taking the rose.

"hello, and you do know I have a name"
she smiled, putting her hands and the rose iin her lap.
Nar leaned against the truck.

"Is it as beautiful as your eyes?" He asked.

Trays smiled and put the rose to her lips.
"Its not the most no(ill give you my nickname. I'm Traya"

Nar repeated the name in his head, loving the sound of it.
"Traya? I'm narukhan, but you can call me Nar. So out here all alone or should I be expecting a boyfriend to come around anytime soon."

Traya rolled her eyes
"ok flirty pants, first I don't have a boyfriend and second no I wont go out with you"
Nar sighed and pretended to be depressed.
"I might as well leave then" he began walking away

"Hey wait!" Trays called after him.
"I never said I woupdnt mind the company".
Nar turned around and walked back slowly.

He sat next to her after making sud he could.
"So is there a reason you are here alone?"
He asked.

Traya shrugged
"no.. just enjoying the evening. Its very beautiful.."
she whsipered the end and stared at the sunset which had now turned a violet.

"Not near as beautiful as the view I have"
Nar replied with a smsmile.
Trays pushed his shoulder, blushing.

"Flirt" she giggled.

"I am.. and I'm proud of -"
Nar was cut off by Traya gasping and jumping up off the tailgate.
"Oh my gosh! This is my favorite song! I cant believe they played it!"
She explains, swaying to a slow song that had come on tje rradio.
Nar smiled, seeing her so happy.
The sun reflected off her brown hair making her look like an angel.

"Come!" Traya said, holding her hand out
" dance with me!"

Nar was surprised but slid off the tail gate and joined her.
They slow danced to the song as the sun set. Trays rested her head on his shoulder, smiling. Nar was breath taken, not 5 minutes ago they were strangers.

Once the song ended Traya looked t him, blushed and turned away.
Nar smiled.
The stars had come out and night had faallen.
"I can take yyou home if you promise me another date some time" he whispered.


Traya laughed "ok, you have a deal"
she got in the ppassenger seat and Nar got in the driver seat.
He drove her home and they talked and talked.

Traya got ready in her room, pulling her hair in a high ponytail and pulling on a Jean jacket.
Her jeans were faded aand she wore black boots over them.
She heard a honk and wwalked out of her house. Nar's mouth gaped open.
she was beautiful.

She slid into the truck and smiled, pulling her bangs back.

"You.. wow.." he breathed.
Traya punched his arm, embarrassed of her look.

"Just drive" she laughed.
The drive was mostly silent because Traya was tying to figure out where they were going.
Nar parked the truck and got out.
There was no houses near, only a stream and a small clearing surrounded with trees.

The sun had set once against nd Nar took traya's hand,leading her to a small bench.
They both sat down and traya smiled.
"This is beautiful. And don't say not as nearly beautiful as me because ive heard plenty of that oold compliment" .

Nar chuckled "then ill say"
he began, holding her hand and brushing some of her bangs back
"you put up quite a competition for the scenery"

Traya rolled her eyes
"that is still the same thing, just worded differently"

"Its true" Nar pointed out with a smile.
He looked at his wtach,
"shoot!"
He ran to the truck and turned on the rradio.

"Hey!
This is a special suggestion from Narukhan to Traya!
Nar also left a message for her.
"Dear Traya, you are the most darling girl I have laid eyes on. You charm me more then I can ever charm you. When I saw you alone I was surprised you had no one with yyou. So after this song, hopefully you will know how I feel
Admirer and friend,
Nar"
Now isn't that sweet!
and here is he song he requested!"
The radio spokes man ended his little speach and once again Traya's favorote song came on. Trays gasped and blushed, looking at Nar.

"You did all this for me?"
She whsipered.
Nar came over and helped Traya up.

"Of course I did" he replied, leading her into a slow dance.
Traya was blushing like crazy.
Not once had a guy gone through this much trouble to impress her.
She rested her head on Nar's shoulder and closed her eyes.

A week had past before they got together again.
Nar went to pock up Traya, this tome taking her to a field ubder the stars.

He helped her from the truck.
Spreading a blanket on the ground he sat down with his guitar.

"This I something ive been working on. That's why I have been so busy" he explains, getting his guitar ready.

Nar softly began to sing the words of traya's favorite song to her

"Oh look there you go again.
Putting on that smile again.
Even though I know you had a bad day
Do this and doing that
Always putting yourself last.
A. Whole lotta give and not enough take.
Oh but you can only be strong until you break.

"Have I Proven myself worthy of having the most beautiful girl all to myself?"
He whisperS.

Traya laughs softly "yes"
she kisses his lips and he wraps his arm around her waste and one behind hher neck.


(Another story of Nar and Traya. This one was a tiny bit better than the last. but still a bit weird. I based it off one of my favorite songs and also slipped another of my favorite songs in there at the end haha. I love these to characters but I will probably write more about them in future stories. Better ones too. On another note, please excuse the typos, I know there are a lot. I wrote this on a mobile device and haven't gotten the motivation to fix them.. us.. #lazy )

What would you like, miss?" Asked the rather tall, dark and handsome waiter. Kyra turned her back to the beautiful view of the ocean to face the second most pleasing sight. Putting on a flirty smile she leaned over the counter slightly, "Just a cherry cola please" She answered him, twirling a strand of her dark brown hair between her fingers. "coming right up" He said with a grin that nearly made Kyra melt in her seat. He leaned down and grabbed a bag of cups, showing off his ripped arms. Kyra knew he was probably just showing off, luckily she was the only girl there. Even though she was on vacation, she still had the habit of waking up before 7:00 A.M.
Oh vacation, the most wonderful thing on Earth after a week of finals. She could still remember how this sweet day dream started.

She was in her apartments kitchen making breakfast for her and her room mates. One of her roommates came through the front door holding a stack of mail. "Hey Kyra, there's an envelope here for you" She said, tossing a white envelope to Kyra. Reading the front made it hard to hide her excitement. It was the results of a competition she had hopelessly entered in a few weeks ago. Her eyes darted back and forth as she held the letter in her trembling fingers. Looking up she let out a scream, jumping up and down, screaming "I WON!!!! i WON!!!! OH MY GOSH I WON! I GET TO GO TO HAWAII!!!"
The very next day she was packed and hugging her roommates one by one as she stepped out the door. Once her flight landed her she had checked in and nearly filled her camera with the beautiful scenery 2 hours after she got off.
Now here she sat, staring at the most handsome man she had seen in her life. Biting her lip he set her drink down. "8.50.. please" He said, his voice so smooth and deep. Reaching into her pocket she puled out a ten dollar bill.
Kyra glanced around once more before the waiter was looking at her with the money. "1.50's your change" As he turned to restock the cups Kyra cleared her throat. "When do you gt off?" She asked curiously, hoping she might get a chance to have dinner with him. He glanced over his shoulder and replied "2 this afternoon. Why? Do you need me then?" He asked with a grin. "Well.. yes, actually, i'm a little short on a dinner date.. perhaps you could fill in?" She asked, smiling back.
"Anything for you," He said with a wink. Kyra giggled and slid off her seat.

Walking away she headed towards the large hotel with a name she didn't even dare pronounce. Opening the doors she revealed the large interior of the hotel. It was decorated like any other hotel except it was in Hawaii! So, to her, that made it twenty times cooler. She leaned over the counter and asked the attendant for her room key which he gladly handed over. Looking at the number she bit her lip. "Hotels are always the hardest to navigate" She thought. She walked towards the elevator and pressed the glowing button for up. When the small ding sounded and the doors slid open she saw there was another man inside, his face hidden by a black fedora. She gave him a smile, if he could see it, and stepped inside beside him.
"Erm.. floor 6. or where ever room 203 is." she said kindly. The man made no acknowledgment of her except moving his hand over to the button and pressing for the basement. Kyra raised her eyebrows and rolled her shoulders. "I guess he had other plans.." She thought. Once the elevator closed the man stood as still as a statue. Kyra couldn't help but give him a strange look. Who was he? and why was he so.. weird? The elevator stopped and right as the doors opened she was shoved tot eh ground by the man and a bullet was fired right where he head was.

The man pressed the close door button and pressed the 6th floor. Kyra rubbed her head, seeing stars. "Oww" she mumbled, looking up. the man was spreading something onto a cloth and she could briefly see the chiseled features of his face. He had a five o'clock shadow and a sharp nose. His eyes were a deep creamy brown under two slim eyebrows. He was actually good looking. She watched him bend down and take off his hat to reveal and shaggy mess of dusty blonde hair. "I'm sorry miss," He said with a deep, soothing voice. Soon her nose and mouth was covered by the cloth and a sickening sweet smell filled her nose. She struggled then soon fell into darkness.

Her eyes flickered open and she could see the cieling light shining brightly into her eyes. Squinting she tried moving her head, feeling a massive headache. Her head felt like it had been in a boxing match and lost horribly. Her head was lifted off a pillow nad she found herself in a bed in a hotel room. The T.V. was on and she could see the man from earlier on another bed next to hers. Letting out a small groan he looked over, his hat resting on the desk beside the bed.
"You're awake?" He said, sliding off the bed and standing next to hers. She gave him a nod and plopped her head back on the pillow. She closed her eyes, feeling weak and nauseated.
"Here, drink this. It will help with the head ache" The man offered, holding a cup out to her. She opened her eyes again and lifted her hand to grab the cup. Her arms felt like led when she tried to move them. Struggling to sit up she felt the man prop her back up with a pillow. Once she guzzled down a few gulps she suddenly remembered what happened. She chucked the glass across the room, spraying water on the wall. She started flipping out, looking up at the man then at the door then around the room. The sudden burst of panic and energy made her even more dizzy then she already was. She tried to get off the bed and to the door but found herself just on the floor, face first and groaning.

The man chuckled and sat back on his bed, crossing his legs. "You alright there?" He asked. Kyra turned her head, her headache seeming to soften a bit. Apparently what ever he gave her was working. "Who are you?" She asked, sitting up and pushing her hair back. "That doesn't matter, do you remember anything?" He asked, his face growing serious and cold like before. Kyra paused, deciding if it was bets to play dumb or not. Curiosity getting the best of her she responded to his question with a slow nod. The man seemed to groan and mumble something like "Oh great" He stood back up and offered a hand to Kyra. She slowly took hold of his hand and felt the warmth of his large hands. He helped her up but with a little to much pull. She stumbled and he caught her in his arms. Kyra looked up at his face and froze, stunned and embarrassed. Stumbling to her feet she cleared her throat. "Can I go to my hotel room or is that just.. not one of the options." She asked, trying to stand as stable as she could. The man bit his lip like he was thinking. "I'm afraid going to your room wouldn't be the smartest idea"
"Why is that..?" Kyra asked, wanting really bad to just get in a hot shower and go to bed. The head ache was still there, making it hard to focus on his words. "There are men there.. waiting for you. I can't let you go back" He admitted. Kyra looked at him like he was a complete psycho. "ERm.. men?"

The man nodded, "They are searching for you Kyra.. I'm here to protect you"
(Is this a good start for a story or should I just stop? This is one of my more recent writes. I haven't had time to reread it so for all I know it could be absolutely horrid.)

(Yet another poem. I remember writing these in the middle of the night. It was a night you stay awake and think about everything bad and scary about this world. Not fun, I know. But this helped me fall asleep and express some emotion..)

I turn my head,
Seeing you there.
A perfect face,
It's hard not to stare.

And as you turn,
We make contact for few
Less then a second
I savor the view.

How could you not see,
The smile I share.
I wished it was meant to be.
If only you'd care

As your eyes meet hers,
You both smile.
My heart begins to ache
For more then a while.

She makes you so happy.
Like I used to do.
But now you see her
While I only see you.

(Jealousy.. it's horrible. It's even worse when your not the type to show your true feelings. I had fallen head over heels for a guy and not two weeks later him and my best friend start having a thing.. it killed m being around the two almost everyday. I've told her I've stopped liking him but little does she know he still makes my world a brighter place.)

It was a small rumor, nothing much to dwell on. But rumors spread, everyone knows that. Being almost unstoppable with the connections we posses. The internet, social media, the news and everything else to help spread information over the world within minutes, how could it had stayed quiet for so long? No matter how much effort the governments and other high societies put towards stopping this, we all knew it was coming. Of course... we just hoped we would be dead by then. I've spent countless nights laying in bed and over thinking things. Of course, so does every other teenager my age. I've often wondered what kind of world my kids would grow up in. I've stressed over it and often I've cried for their futures to be brighter and full of life. But those fears are silenced now, with this rumor soon becoming fact. Those fears have been replaced by new doubts. I'll never have children, or a husband or a life with this going on. The world's coming to an end. The dead is walking, and time is ticking.


(So this is something I wrote not thirty minutes ago. It was inspired by a role play im current in with some one. Obviously this is about the apocalypse. So I'll continue it later on, I'm really excited for this story to continue.)

Chapter 1

I walked around the small pond that was not far from my cave.
My brothers were over in the field playing wrestle
"Grrr! Ill take you down and become alpha!" Torren barked
"No! I will!" Kota howled "wait wait! Not the tail not the tail!" I tuebback and smile to myself
"Boys... they will never learn that I will become alpha" i laughed. I was much younger but a whole lot stronger, smarter and WAY more brave.
As my attention returned to the pond i crouched at the bank, watching the fish swim around.
"Uhhhhhhh.."
A low groan came from across the pond.
My ears shot up and i looked over at the noise. I began to circle the pond, slowly.
"Uh.... hello?"
"Aggghhh...."
The groan now turned into a small cry of pain.
I pushed through some bushes and was met by a large gray wolf pup, laying on the ground badly wounded.
"Oh my gosh!" I yelped, seeing blood trickle down the wolves eye and neck. "What happened? Who are you?"
The young pup looked up, the injured eye sealed shut with dried blood.
"I...I was attacked.. by a coyote... my name is-"
He started saying but was inturupted by a loud growl.
I looked up and two black eyes locked with mine. I felt fear run through my body as a large brown coyote stepped out from the bushes.
The gray male jumped up and growled, stepping front of me protectively.
"Stand back... its the same coyote from before" the male said, glancing back at me. I stood beside him, me ears barely reaching his muzzle. My violet eyes looked into his and i could see pain in them.
"Oh no! I cant let him hurt himself! He is injured and has no chance!" I thought to myself, beginning to worry about him.
Th coyote was double the size of the gray pup and was looking for an easy meal.
"Get back!" The pup barked.
"Um.. I have a better idea! Run!!!!" I yelled, nudging the pups shoulder gently to get him moving. After a few seconds of hesitation we both took of, back towards the comfort of my cave. The coyote chased after us and nipped at our tails. I saw the male starting to run out of breath and the coyote gaining on us. I twirled around and sank my teeth deep into the coyotes nose. It howled and fell forward, tripping and rolling on the ground.
I closed my eyes, still attatched to the coyotes nose. I felt pressure all around me as i was pressed down, under the coyote. I quickly squirmed my way out from beneath him and ran after the other pup, who was now a good ways ahead.
I lifted my head and yelled out for my parents. Ratia and Narato run out from the cave, startled and afraid something happened.
Narato ran towards the coyote, chasing him off quickly.
"Rakia!" Ratia whined and nuzzled her daughter lovingly."what happened?"
"I was by the pond and a coyote appeared after I met-" i turned to where the pup was, but he was gone."where did he go?"
I whined and stared looking around for him.
"Where did who go?" Her mother asked, walking up to her side.
"The pup I met from earlier... he tried protecting me from the coyote..."
Narato gave a small chuckle and looked at Ratia.
"Rakia... there was no pup.. maybe it was just your imagination" he said, lowering his head and giving me a small lick on the cheek as i stared out towards the pond.
"But... but he was there! I promise!" I whined, looking at my father "I know he was real...."
My ears fell down and i dropped my head, sitting down.
"Well lets get inside, maybe your friend will come back later"Ratia said, nuzzling me once more "boys! Come on! Time to come inside!"she barked.
Quickly Torren and Kota ran towards us, tripping over one another, racing to see who could get into the cave first.

Chapter 2

Years had past since i had seen the male pup. I had forgotten about him and was on the road to becoming alpha female.
"Rakia! Come over here!" Narato barked." Its time for your training!"
I trotted over to my father and swiped my tail past both of my brothers noses. Torrent growled playfully and Kato whimpered, going cross-eyed.
"Now you all know that you will be competing for the rank of alpha.. ill be teaching you three until the day of the fight arrives." Narato growled, his age showing as he paced in front of us. He had a slight limp from a insident with a lone wolf. I held my head high with pride. Torrent had grown to be a large handsome wolf with a scar over his right eye. Kato, on the other hand had stayed to be the small, slim wolf that you would see running a whole lot. I had grown to be large and came up to Torrens chin. I was very strong and a marvelus hunter.
"Rakia!" Narato barked in his normal snappy bark.
"Yes?" I replied, looking my father straight in the eyes.
"To be a leader you must be proud, strong, loyal, caring and stern!" Narato explained." Pretend I'm a rogue wolf, how will you handle me if I was in your territory?"
"Well first I would raise my tail, showing dominance." I started. my father nodded in approval. "Next I would wait to see how you respond."
Narato hesitated then growled, pointing his tail out, challenging hlmy dominance "what do you do now?" He asked, a small smirk on his face
"Um... I would growl and warn you..?"
Narato nods and moves on to my brothers.

After training was over I walked over to the pond.
Torrent came up beside me and nudged my shoulder "hey lil sis" he teased.
"What do you want torrentI groan, knowing that he only called me "lil sis" if he wanted something.
" me and my friends are going hunting tonight, Ruter wants you to come "
I frown and puts one of my paws on my muzzle, hiding my eyes.
"When will that mutt learn that I'm not interested?" I growl in frustration.
"Ill pass..."
i stand and walks over to the large rock in front of my den. Torrent chases after hme and whines "oh come on! He wont shut up about you and if you go over there then you can tell him to back off yourself"
I look at my brother, glaring at him.
"...no..."
"Really?!? Your just gonna put me through this pain of listening to him go on and on and on and on and on about you!"
"Yes..."
I sit down and start cleaning my fur.
Torren crawls over to me, whining and looking at me with a pouty face. "Come on... do your brother a solid."
i stare at him in mid lick. I groan and sets my paw down, rolling my eyes.
"Fine.. ill go... but only to shut him up since your such a baby" i teases, pushing torren over with my paws then running off.
"Hey! Wait up!" Torrent called after me as he tries catching up.
Once u made it to the edge of the valley i was met by many familiar faces.
"Hey rakia!" Kato barked.
"Sup girl!" Teriko, one of torren and Kato's many friends, yelped.
"Hey guys!" I say with a smile. I rather enjoyed being around these guys the only downside was...
"H-h-hi rakia.." Ruter says, looking like a love sick puppy.
I look at him, shoot him a glare and turns to the other guys.
"So what are we hunting tonight?" I ask, my tail wagging.
"We're hunting the bull elk!" Teriko whispered.
"Pfffft, that's easy!" I laugh
"not the whimpy cow elk. The other ones.." Kato snickers.
"Are-are you really gonna-?! Ha! You guys would never stand a chance!" I laugh once again.
"Oh ya? Well we got a new member this time, he came and joined last night" Ruter barked.
The other males chuckled and parted so a very large grey male came through the crowd. He walked up to me and i barely was the height of his shoulder. He left eye was shut and he had a familiar look. I gasped and stepped back in surprise.
"Hello rakia, I finally get the Honors of meeting you" he said with a classy bow. "I'm Mazek but you can call me maz... or ek" he smirked and stood up, the others chuckling. I was speechless, still unsure from where i had seen him. Ruter growled and stepped up to Mazek, only as tall as his chin "hey! back off my girl!"
I shook my head and glared at Ruter.
"Your girl? Oh I'm sorry man." Maz apoligized.
"Uh. Ah-hem! I'm not your girl and don't protect me like I'm weak or ill pummel you" i growl, pushing Ruter over. The other boys laughed and made comments like "ya Ruter!" And "Oohhh!"
I look at them and roll my eyes.
"Are we gonna hunt or what?" I bark, getting their attention.
"That's right guys! Stop being drama queens. Now here is the plan. Teriko and Maz you come ffrom behind. Me and Ruter will-"
"Oh oh oh! Can I be paired with rakia?!?" He barks, running to my side.
The others laughed under their breath and i push away fron Ruter "ill be going in for the kill, like always.." i growl.
"That settles it, at dark we will go for the rare.... black bull!" Torrent barked in excitement.
The others all yelled and howled.

The sun began to fall and i lift my head to the sky. "time to go meet up with the guys" i think to myself.
As i started walking i was stopped by Maz. He had a purple rose in his mouth and set it down at my paws, smiling his charming smile.
"Hello, and might I say you get more beautiful the more I see you" he says in his deep voice. I blush hard and laugh lightly, turning away.
"Don't hide those wonderful violet eyes fron my sight, darling." He sooths, gently pulling my head towards him.
"I got the rose that reminds me of your sparkling eyes." He smiles and steps closer to me. I feel warm and I sit back, staring into his light grey eyes.
He stepped abit closer and sat in front of me, our noses almost touching. His eyes sparkled with gentle kindness. His tail curled around him, brushing my left flank and pulling me abut closer. We were so close I could feel his breath on my nose. My mouth was slightly open in surprise and I felt lighter then air.
"Your eyes.... they really do sparkle..." he whispered.
"I-i.. um..." I say quietly, trying to find the words in my scrambled head.
He lets out a low chuckle. His tail brushes my chin and I pull forward a bit. My eyes tempt to close and I lean forward more, my eyes closing. We are seconds apart when a bark breaks us apart.
"Hey! You love birds! Lets go!" Ruter growls.
I quickly push Maz away from me and I look towards the growl. I soon find out that every one was there hiding in the bushes and watching us. Maz looks at them also and smiles. Torren is glaring at him and Maz chuckles.
"No hard feelings man. I was merely giving your sister a gift." Maz laughs and nudges Torren as he walks past.
I clear my throat and stand up, walking towards them.
"Well lets get going!" I bark, trying to act cool.

We all make it to the ranch as soon as he moons as right above us. Torren nodded and flicked his tail, signaling us to get to our spot. I crouched in some bushes. I saw everything. There were two brown elk and one large black bull. Two mitts laid next to a large structure with a glow coming from some kind of clear substance. "Alright... keep calm and wait for your turn" I thought, tying to get myself ready. The bull was tied to the fence and I saw Maz aand teriko jump the fence, and crawl towards the bull. Torren and Ruter cone on the other side, they all wait for a moment and run towards the bull, grabbing the legs and jumping on its back. The elk cries out and the mutts on the porch look up. They start barking feircly and the black bull breaks the fence. I run out and chase the bull into the forest before humans run out yelling and carrying "sticks". The bull runs through the forest, Maz and teriko on its back and Torren, Ruter and I chasing after it. I could heara sound, similar to thunder. Suddenly the forest around us was lit up.
"Guys! They are gaining on us!!" I bark
"Pick it up!"
Maz and teriko jump off, making the bull run faster. We herd the bull towards the packs territory. I pull up front and jump onto the bulls back as we near the mountain pack valley. I bite into the bulls neck and inject poison. It spreads through the bull, making me grow a slight purple and my eyes light up. I let go and jump off. The lights had diminished as the sounds of howling grew stronger. I laugh knowing that we were safe.
"Take it down!" I howl, jumping on its back and locking onto its neck. The others grab the legs and I jerk my head to the left, making the bull fall down. It is soon covered by wolves who are ripping and tearing at its flesh. Soonsone one grabs the neck, performing the choke hold as we all hold it down. Moments later it dies and I jump off it, smiling and feeling pumped up.
"Guys... I think... we did it!!!" Torren howls. We all join him.
"Rakia.. you do the Honor's" Kato says.
I take a steps forward and take the first bite of meat. Every one else joins in and eats as much as they can. I pull back laughing and smiling. I watch them from a distance and sit down. Maz walks up behind me silently and sits next to me. Hia tail curls around mine and I look at him.
"Hey.. aren't you gonna go eat?" I wonder.
"Nah.. being here with you is good enough." He smiles, looking into my eyes.
"Ha! Ok.. if you feel like I'm worth that much" I say, looking back at the others and slightly parting myself from him.
"You are! Any woman this beautiful should be treated like the highest of treasures. She needs respect, kindness, gentleness and loyalty from the one she loves." He said, his voice getting lower and softer as he pulls me closer. I look at him once again and smile.
"Your quite the ladies man" I laugh.
"Only for certain ladies" he sooths, licking my cheek gently.
I become speechless and I look at the ground.
Torren walks up to us and I quickly part myself from Maz before he sees is.
"Hey guys, we are gonna head back to the den, wanna come?"
I look at Maz and he looks at me, smiling.
"You guys go ahead, we will catch up"
Torren loons at us, confused then shrugs.
"Alright.. but Maz.." he walks up to Maz, both of hem the same height.
"You hurt my sister and you will answer to me.." he warns in a low growl.
I giggle as Maz pretends to look frightened. Feeling satisfied Torren leaves, and once again we are alone.
Maz stands and comes over to me, laying down next to me.
"Judging by the fact you didn't stop me when i said we would stay here... I'm guessing you like me too?" He pointed out.
I laugh nervously and look to the side.
"I cant way I like you, I can say you are pretty interesting"
He chuckles and site up, his side right next to mine. He looks at me and I look at him.
"I'm not hard to figure out, Rakia.. I have this feeling for you that I cant explain. It started off as just alittle crush but the way you talk makes me feel like you and I are the only ones on this earth... when you deny that you like me and try to hide it drives me crazy... I. Know its only been a day.. but I think I love you" he soothed, pulling me closer with every word. I feel weak against his warm fur and I swoon as he smiles.
"Will you say you love me for tonight and we can stay right here, side by aide until the sun comes up."
"I-i... ok" I agree, deciding I don't have any other chance. He lays down and I lay beside him. He curls his tail around me protectively and I rest my paws on his. He licks my head gently.
"Your beautiful, you light up my world and you make me feel complete." He whispers and I hum an agreement, feeling sleep come over me. I am soon asleep next to him and he rests his head on mine gently, falling asleep also.

Chapter 3

Running off

I wake up and I lift my head. The sun shown through the trees makings me squint. Maz is next to me snoring. I quickly stand ans gasp.
"What have I done! I don't love him! My dad is gonna kill me!" I think and run back ti the pack. I run into the main area and find nobody was there. I crawl into my den and I see my dad. He is leaned over my mother, shaking.
"Dad?" I say hesitabtly. He perks up hearing me. He turns around and I could tell he was crying.
" Rakia! You need to run, run from here as fast as you can!" He warns and is suddenly rammed against the wall. I gasp and look to see who pushed him.
It was Ruter.
He had grown triple the size he usually is and death was in his blood red eyes. He growledyand look at narato
"You fool! I told you not to warn your daughter!" He growls.
"You'll have to kill me before I ever lsiten to you!" He says with a strained voice. Ruter growls, getting ready for another attack. Suddenly he falls to the ground as Torren jumps on him.
They both fight feircly and I stare in horror.
"Rakia!" Narato coughs. "Come here'
I run over and lean down, listening to my father.
"I wont make it... but you might... listen to me.. go to shade pack.. tell the leader the mountainpack has fallen and that you were sent by Narato... he will know what to do.. you will stay there for how ever long.." he wheezed and coughs.
"Dad no! We can get you out of here and you will live!" I whine, tears welling up in my eyes. He simply shakes his head and coughs.
"Just go, hopefully you will understand some day... go... now!" He barks and life his head, demanding I go. He coughs and rests his head back down. "Torren!" I cry. He looks up and runs to me. "Lets get out of here!" We both run out of the cave and now a small group of wolves withthe same blood red eyes are circling around us.
"Rakia... ive been told that one day u would need to protect you.. even if it meant taking my life.. ill hold them off, you run" he whispers and starts growling at thu others. Kato and teriko appear at his sides. Tears stream down my cheeks and I stand there, confused and startled by how sudden all this had happened. "But Torren!" I protest
"Just get out if here rakia!" He barks, glaring at me. I take a few steps backs nd our eyes meet. The hut in his eyes just killed me in-side. before I could speak the three wolves were over taken by the oversea and I just started running.
I ran and rran and never stopped. I tripped over rocks and twigs but I never looked back. I didn't stop until night came. Tears were still streaming down my face and I stopped in front of a stream.
I looked aaround and cried. I cried half the night and never stopped until I could cry no more. I calmed down and ttried to gather my thoughts.
What happened...
Was Ruter some kind of weird being?
How did he grow so fast and why was he glowing red?
My parents are dead...
My brothers most likely died protecting me and...Maz...
on no! Maz!...
I left him and now he is in danger...
All I know is that I need to get to shade pack..
Where is that?.
Am I even going the right way?
What if I'm found!
I need to keep going...
Ill figure everything out once I get to shadepack..
Or that's atleast what my dad said..
After I think and think and think, i stand up and continue the way I was headed, hoping it is the right way.

(Haha I found this old story. Back when I was a hopeless romantic and I still am. Then again me being a hopeless romantic explains a lot of these stories. But this one's pretty neat. It has potential but I'll probably rewrite it sometime. I've got all summer..)
