Once there was a strawberry named Barry. He lived a happy life and lived with his mom only, since his dad went on a trip. He always wanted to visit his dad but he was never allowed to. One day, he finds out that his dad was turned into jelly! When his mom showed him where his father was, he was brought to a jar of jelly. Barry then says, “Why? I don’t understand. Why is he in there?” Mom says, “He was trying to protect us from the Berry Bashers...” Later on in the day, Barry decided that he wanted to make his father proud and protect his family. So, he tried to find the Berry Bashers. He searched long and hard, and when he finally found them in the Jelly Factory, he got their attention and said, “HEY YOU!” They then saw him. Barry sees that they are holding a hammer. He looked to his right and saw huge jars of jelly everywhere. A Berry Basher says, “Why aren't you in the jar?” Barry says, “I’m here to make my father proud since you turned him into jelly!” So what Barry does, is he finds the self destruct button, but he’s too small to reach it. He then realizes that the Berry Bashers are trying to bash him. Barry dodges their swings with his super cool ninja moves and throws rocks at them. But when he is finally close to the self destruct button, he doesn't realize there’s a Berry Basher right behind him!!! Once the Berry Basher hits Barry with the hammer...Barry doesn’t move. He doesn't say anything. He’s just laying there cold...The Berry Basher tells his friends, “I got him.” He doesn't clean up the mess or put him in a jar. Instead, they leave him there.. but they left him there too long. Ten hours later, Barry starts to move. He started trembling, shaking and struggling to get up, but once he finally picks himself up, he looks at his hands...they aren’t red anymore. They are wrinkled, green, nasty and old. He looks in the handy dandy mirror he keeps in his sock. He looks old and rotten. Barry was so horrified by himself, that he lost mobility of his hands and dropped the mirror to break for seven years of bad luck. If you've read this far, include the word Barry to adopt two more pets. He tries to find a way to get out of the factory so he can go see his mom. In the corner of his eye, he spots a hole in the side of the building and squeezes through it to find himself in a dark forest. He doesn't know where to go because he doesn't remember where his home is...He doesn't know where...anything is. He then hears the cracking of the autumn leaves on the forest floor and turns around slowly to see another Berry that looks exactly like him but older. He then says slowly shaking. “Fa..Father?”, he says in the direction of the familiar face."Yes my son it is me" ”I have arrived.” “I..I... I need to tell you and your mother something.” What is it father, Barry says in a confused tone of voice. ”I know that your mother told you I was made into jelly, but that’s what I told her to tell you. I was never turned into jelly and I never went on a trip. It was all a lie to protect you because...we’re part of the FBI, or Federal Berry Industry. A bunch of berries have escaped from BBP, Berry Basher Prison. They are on the loose and dangerous and they have been trying to hunt me down to jellify me. Barry then becomes angry and asks his father "So I have made my mother so terrified since i left to make you proud and risk my life trying to destroy the Jelly Factory owned by the Berry Bashers so that you can tell me that you are alive! " I am proud of you son", father says."Ever since you were born." "I DON’T CARE! I ALMOST GOT TURNED INTO JELLY BECAUSE OF YOU! So out of fury to his father, Barry grabs the rock beside him and turns his father to jelly by one smash. And while he threw it, he said “TAKE THAT!” with anger and frustration. When he finished the job, he heard footsteps behind him.... He panics and throws a rock into the direction of the footsteps. IT WAS HIS MOTHER! "NOOOOOOOOO! MOTHER!!!”
"What have I turned into to!" "WHY!!!!" The sorrow days that follow ahead drown him in misery and crushes his life more than the Berry Bashers could ever with a hammer.
