Name: Jade
Gender: Female
Race: Tiger, Animal folk
Physical appearance: Seven feet tall, green eyes, typically wears long vest and twin katanas over her back.
Family/friends: Her sister: Jasmine, is all the blood family she has, but her friends are as dear to her in many ways: Lionel is a close confident, Freeta; a head of wisdom, Achran is a constant source of laughs, Adrian and Avery, young friends to guide and teach, and Lilly, well, someone to get out of trouble.
History: Jade's history is long and tumultuous, and is still playing out. But I'll start at the top of the mountain and work my way down as far as I can. Jade and Jasmine where abandoned as cubs on the doorstep of a kindly panda farmer who raised them. Many small things happened, things that begin to shape a young soul's life. When Jade and Jasmine where eighteen, something happened that nearly shattered them. Both their adopted parents died of a serious illness. After several months of mourning, their adoptive brother tried to force them into marriage so he could pay off his debts. Jade was so angry, she stormed out of the house, with Jasmine close behind her. As a matter of fact, Jade's hasty action saved both their lives. While the two where absent from the farm, a huge band of raiders sacked and burned it. Stunned and frightened, the sisters decided to attempt to find their adopted mother's sister. But on the way to her village, they got caught in a flash flood

Name: Shift
Gender: Female
Race: Raccoon
Physical appearance: Typical raccoon, Short, fluffy tail, but fur coloration is rusty red and light cream rather than the normal black and grey
Family/friends: Family's dead her and Shift's not much for the social calendar.
History: Shift was born into a proper raccoon clan with a proper name [it was Luanda] and a very proper family; and Shift was a proper terror. She caused any and all kinds of trouble, from little things like putting firespice into her brother's soup, to really major things such as setting the entire camp on fire. As she got older, her pranks got worse. Until, the clan leader was forced to banish her from the clan. It was supposed to be only for a few weeks then she could return, but you can't return to a place that isn't there. The camp had been ravaged, by fur hunters, Shift learned by way of a dying elder. After a long while of eavesdropping and spying, Shift discovered that the Emperor was heavily in debt and was allowing fur hunters from the Seven Kingdoms to come and hunt Animal Folk. Now she's basically leading a one-raccoon revolt.
Personality: Shift doesn't take no for an answer, its do-or-die with her, she's suspicious of any one who tries to be kind to her, suspecting them of ulterior motives. She hates to have to be dependent on anyone for anything, she likes to think she can do everything for herself. Shift's also very crafty, she has to be, there's a large bounty on her head. She can outwit any of the Emperor's men and anyone else besides. She's also very pessimistic and sarcastic.
