A brilliant scholar aids a sapient bowl of jelly with enhanced senses, magic, and no other abilities (including movement or speech) in finding its human father. Of course, the jelly is the protagonist, and spends the majority of the story philosophising about time and the nature of humankind.

A recently unemployed immortal guy uses bastardized sericulture to reflect on his relationship with a (former) enemy co-worker and their uncertain future together.

This is a fanfic, lol. Kudos to those who can guess the fandom.

Then I’ve accomplished my mission! c:
Long story short is that the main character lives with his grandmother in the US while his parents are business people who work abroad. His parents are very cold, distant, and overall really uncaring towards our MC. They do however want him to meet their fancy requirements of dressing nice and make him be all prim and proper when they come to see him, which is really rare. So out of spite, and also because he likes it, he refuses to cut his hair like they want him to. He’s got a big mane of long messy black hair now. (He’s also the sea creature too~)

Then the second one is about one of my other main characters, who gets his own story that runs parallel to the main story! He discovers that he’s actually a Cu Sith, a huge Scottish fairy dog. They usually have green fur, but his family is the special type that has white fur instead! Cu Sith are about the same size as a bull, which is huge, but a little bit of an exaggeration on my part about being the size of Clifford~ ^u^

HELLO friends I am doing something very impulsive and deciding to participate in NaNoWriMo the day before it starts. I haven't written anything in nearly 2 years so this...is going to go well, I'm sure.

Is anyone else doing NaNo this year?
