    Chapter One: The Beginning
That smell. The smell of a fresh night in the city. Though the city is never quiet while I sit here alone it all seems to stop, as if I were running the show and the sound around me.  A small sigh escapes my mouth and I see the small cloud that also escapes. It is a cold night which is why there aren't as many people walking around. Should I be happy about that? It is quite lonely, but the quiet is always a plus. No one ever talks to me which is always perplexing, but you get used to the solitude after a while. As I sit on the cold bench a scarf wrapped around my neck a begin to close my eyes. Why would anyone want to sleep in this type of weather. Though it was cold out I somehow felt content and warm inside, which was unusual. I closed my eyes once more and my dreams began to run free in my head.

What was that? The sudden noise makes me jump forward. Did I fall asleep? It doesn't seem like I had even closed my eyes, yet as I look forward I see something new in front of me. What is this building? It wasn't here before was it? The building stood between two apartments, but it was farther back. In fact it was almost impossible to determine what the building was. How could I have missed that? Slowly I stood up and began to walk to the mysterious building. This almost shack like building wasn't much to look at. It was barely standing and I don't know how the roof hadn't collapsed in yet. How could someone ever miss a disaster waiting to happen like this. The building looked somewhat scary, not terrifying, but you know it gave off that creepy aura. I glanced back and forth across the building until I declared it wasn't the risk to go inside. I turned around and sighed once more. Maybe it was just because I was tried, I mean I had almost fallen asleep on a bench in the middle of the city. Then again no one really noticed me, as usual. I began to walk away from this unusual site and then there was a noise, the same noise as before. It sounded like a creak, or a sigh. Almost like the one I had made earlier. It was so soft you could barely here it though I had somehow made it out.  I became angry with myself because I was curious about this house. Nothing good ever came out from being curious about old, creepy, and dangerous shacks that randomly appeared in the night. I glanced at the street which was almost in walking distance and then turned around. Come on you have to stop being a wimp. Maybe that was why no one talked to you, the sensed you were wimpy. Goodness I would end up winning a sighing award if I didn't stop while I was ahead. I slowly walked toward the 'building' and it seemed as if it had gotten bigger, not in appearance, but in the creepy aura. I focus on nothing more then the building as I walked forward, and as I inched my way along the sighing got louder until I could actually make it out as a sigh. In fact it sounded like a girl sighing, who on earth would be in this building, was it a house? I made my way to the door and touched the handle. I built up all of my courage and gripped it tightly, I am going to do it I'm going inside. I took a deep breath and turned the nob. Suddenly before I could even open the door I was jerked inside. I fell down on the ground and slowly with a panic in my stance got to my feet.

Wait? What on earth was this? The building was actually a store, or at least it seemed that way. Though the outside was creepy and very ran down the inside was elegant. It almost looked like an antique shop. From wall to wall it was covered with golden lights and other golden antiques or items. This was strange I didn't see any light on the outside. Now in the store my eyes had to squint at the light. It wasn't so much  bright, just beautiful and unique. I looked around and almost past a thing standing right in front of me. I shuffled back and fell on my butt with a tiny squeak escaping my mouth. What is this? It seemed to be a statue standing right in front of me. The statue was all different shades and colors of gold, and it sparked in front of my eyes. In fact it was the brightest thing in here. The eyes were shut and it look to be solid so I stood up and walked towards it. I was face to face with the statue and I was sure It wasn't real. Just the features were so life like. At that moment I heard the sigh again. Did that just come from the statue? No that isn't even possible. I moved closer and smiled when I realized it was just a statue. I was about to move when I heard the noise again. Where is that coming from?
" Hi!" Suddenly the statues eyes flung open and I once again fell back on the ground.

" Ahhh!" I was terrified what on earth is going on here? Once again the 'statue' spoke again. " I'm sorry if I scared you, it was just you were getting so close!"
I was speechless first I find this creepy store and then apparently there is a talking statue in here. I couldn't even muster up the words to answer this thing. The only thing that came to my mind was the only question I have been asking myself all night. " Were you the one sighing?" I stared wide eyed at the thing. It's eyes were golden to, but they were so light they were almost white. " Yes it was me. You see I have been waiting all night for you to come here. I was getting bored."  I was stunned, it was waiting for me? This definitely was getting weird. " U-uh" before I could say another word I was interrupted. " I'm Aura!" That's weird I said this store had a creepy aura, but I didn't mean it in this way. In fact Aura wasn't creepy she just seemed weird. " I-I'm Bastille" I looked at her with no real expression just confusion. She shifted a little and smiled a wide smile. " I know! I told you I have been waiting for you." I looked at her about to ask how she knew me but before I could she grabbed me. " Come on I have to show you something!" She dragged me along before I could even get a word out. She lead me deeper into the store and past all of the golden things and into the back of it. For a shack this thing goes back pretty far. " We are almost there." She sounded as if she were smiling, was she enjoy this because I was just confused. She soon brought me to a little room not golden and not lit up like the rest of the shop. " Where are we?" She didn't answer at first, she only turned around to look at me. She was so golden compared to me. I was just smoky and had no color to me what so ever. In fact she was actualy really pretty. I blushed a little as this mysterious girl got up in my face. The room had nothing in it but a shelf. The shelf or podium was empty, but it looked as if it was missing something. " Why did you bring me here?" Aura again looked at me and smiled. " I need your help Bastille. You see that podium over there? It used to have something very important on it and I need you to help me get it back." I looked at her and raised an eyebrow. Why was I so confused? Was this supposed to happen to me? Before no one even talked to me and now this girl was asking me to help her with something very important. " Why should I help you?" She looked at me instantly and started to frown. " Well you don't have to, b-but I though you would be able to." " Look I don't even know you and now I'm in this strange shop with you and your asking me to help you find an important thing!" She jump a little at the end of the sentence and felt a little bad but I didn't recant my anger. I had no idea who she was or why she wanted me, just because she had something important she needed. " Look I had no one else to turn to Bastille!" " So you turn to someone you don't even know, or at least I don't know you!" She sighed the familiar sigh I had heard all night. " You don't have to help, just go back upstairs and I will let you out." She sounded disappointed and when she looked at me with her light golden eyes I almost melted. " Fine mysterious girl I will help you!" She smiled instantly and started jumping around. " Oh thank you so much Bastille!" I looked at her and smiled a little to. She is the first person who has talked to me in a while so I didn't just want to give that up. " So what is it we need to find?"

    Chapter Two: The Plan
" What?!" " Calm down Bast it isn't that crazy" I was stunned. Aura had just explained that a book holding old artifacts with powers had been lost. She called this book The Life Glossary and apparently she wasn't that worried that it was lost. In fact she doesn't even know if it is just lost or it was stollen. " Stop calling me Bast!" I hated that nickname and if I had friends they wouldn't call me that. " No! What else am I gonna call you?" " I don't know just how are we gonna find the book if we don't even know where it went?" She smiled that almost devilish smile she has been doing all night. " Well I know of two places it could be" I sighed with relief. " Perfect now where would those places be so we can get this over with." She looked away almost debating if she tell me this next part. " Well you see Bast this is why I gave you the option to go back, but you can't do that once you have helped me." " What do you mean?" I ignored the Bast part and listened on. " You see the book is in the past..." She waited for my response and looked away. I sighed to be honest with the night I was having I wasn't even surprised. " Let's get this over with then." She smiled and I swear it reached from one side of her face to the other. " Oh I'm so happy Bast!" I looked at her and smiled a little. Though I hated the nickname Bast she made it sound nice. " Now where are these two places or times?" She lessened here smile and looked at me with an almost serious expression. " The first place will be 1279 in Mongolia" She smiled to see if I understood the reason behind the dates, but I didn't. " The second will be 1393 Bc Egypt"  She looked at me with hope in her eyes and got closer. " Are you sure you know where this book is? " " Of course now let's get ready!" I sighed as I was dragged away once again to a different room. This room was the same as the first filled with golden things and light that could blind. My eyes had gotten used to the light by now, yet this room was still very bright. She smiled at me and then walked around collecting little things and putting them in a sack. " Now we won't need any weapons or violent things like that, but we will need things to barter. " She started putting random items in the sack " Are you ready? All I have to do is grab the device and we will be gone, is there anyone you want to say goodbye to?" She seemed less bouncy then earlier, but her same excited attitude was still with her. " Yeah, and were coming back so no there is no one I need to talk to." I looked at her and sighed once more as she grabbed me again. This was becoming a habit but even with that I smiled as she lead me back to the room with the missing book. " Here hold my hoof" I blushed slightly as I took her hoof and looked up at her. " Now what?" " Hold on!" She smiled and pulled out a golden orb. Before I could protest we were off. A whirl pool blasted around us and engulfed us in a golden mist. I was screaming, yet it wasn't addible. When I looked over at Aura she was giggling. This made everything even worse, yet I still managed to smile at her. Finally I felt a hard surface on my stomach and I looked around to still see the golden mist around us, but it was slowly starting to disappear. As the mist lifted off of us I could see a field of grass surround us. Where were we? " We are in Mongolia, 1279" she said as if she had read my mind. I stood up next to her and shook out my fur. This was crazy I never though I could do anything like this and now this crazy girl has taken me to the past to find a mysterious book. I looked at her and smiled her golden fur shone in the night and she almost sparkled. To be honest she was the only friend I had ever had. In fact I don't even know if she considered  me a friend. All I know is that she knows me from somewhere. I don't know how, but I will get to the bottom of it. I looked at her and she smiled in fact even her eyes shined with the smile. I blushed and looked away, why was I feeling like this. We were here for a reason not to become the best of buddies. Though something about her intrigued  me and I want to get to know her better. I wanted her to befriend me, my first friend in a long time.

    Chapter Three: Mongolia-1279
I looked around the wide open field as Aura started walking away. " Hey wait! aren't we supposed to be in a city or something?" Aura stopped and looked at me her golden fur was so shiny in the night it was like a second moon. She was even more bright since there was no moon tonight and there were no lights. I studied her as she walked forward. I never noticed, but she actually walks with grace. This was unusual due to the fact that she seems like a child who bounces off of walls. I smiled to myself, why was I acting like this. Of course I should be noticing these things I have never seen this girl before. In fact not less then four hours ago I had just bumped into her. I looked at her and waited I had to stop even I couldn't take the rambling going on inside of my head. " Well we couldn't just land in the city especially during this time period. We surly would be considered witches or something and killed" Aura smiled as if she were explaining this to a young child. " Now we are just outside of  Khan which is a city in Mongolian. It was once known to have house the Kublai Khan, who if I'm not mistaken is in China now." I shuttered as she spoke we had just happened to land in the once home of the now most powerful ruler. The Khan in 1279 had created and conquered the most powerful empire and created a new dynasty. He was said to be a wise yet strict leader so hopefully we won't be running into him anytime soon. " Okay now where do you think the book would be?" Aura and I were now walking so she spoke with ease and looked at me with her glowing eyes. " Well there are two places, a small house in the village or by an almost dead tree that stands outside of the village." " Oh okay so let's go to the tree first." She smiled and shook her head. " Silly Bast, we are going to the village first the tree is on the other side of the village so we have to go to the village before we could go to the tree." I sighed how could I have thought it would be that easy. She smiled and looked back at me. " While we are there you can learn some valuable things. Just don't get into any trouble, we can not mess with the past." I listened to her and smirked there was no way I was gonna mess with any one here. The wind blew through my fur and in the distance I saw a few lights lighten up in the horizon. We must be getting close to the town. I looked at Aura who was focusing on the same thing I had just noticed. How could she be so confident? To be honest I was actually quite scared in fact you could say I was terrified. My scarf took hold around my neck and I shivered at the biting wind.

The walk seemed like it took forever, but we had finally made it to the town. The sun still wasn't up and as we walked through the gates we weren't really noticed. It wasn't a surprise the most powerful empire wasn't cautious of invaders, then again how did Aura and I look like invaders. I sighed and Aura looked at me and smiled her normal smile. " We are here" she kept her voice low, but it had the same excitement as earlier. I looked around at the quiet town. During the day it was probably rowdy and lively, hopefully  we wouldn't be here to see that. Aura looked at me and pulled around the sack. " These will be used for the information. " I looked at her and cocked my head. " We are trying to find a specific fellow, he goes by Marco Polo." Marco Polo was a merchant who apparently was the Khans personal friend or something along that line. " Okay and who is trading at this time of the night?" She looked at me and smirked " The city is always alive." Turns out this riddle of a girl was right. Though I can imagine it was so much busier during the day the night was equally exciting. Everywhere you turn you saw merchants, sells man and people walking around. They all spoke with excitement and happiness in there voice. Of course they did they chose the winning side. The only thing I didn't see we're children. Since it was night they were all most likely asleep with there mothers and fathers. Aura's eyes beamed open as she studied the locals and how they lived. The village was filled with smells of food and my mouth began to get wet with hunger. " I see you are hungry" Aura looked at me and smiled. I wiped my mouth and blushed slightly. Right now I felt like a little child in a candy store. I was tired and hungry what did you expect? Aura giggled and once again took me and dragged me to a cart. She began to speak the language of the people and then took some sort of bowl from the seller. " Here this will hit the spot." Before I could speak she shoved a bunch of berries into my mouth. The juices from the berries busted in my mouth and I smiled at her. These were actually quite delicious. " How did you learn how to speak that language?" She looked at me and cocked her head. " Oh I forgot to give you this!" She turned around and rummaged threw her bag. Finally after a minute she pulled out a little berry. It kinda resembled a grape and a blueberry. I looked at her and she smiled " Open up" quickly she placed the berry on my tongue and I began to chew. Before I could swallow everything began to get louder. I began to understand what the people were saying! How did she do this? How did she even get this type of technology? " Aura you are so mysterious!" She looked at me and smiled " I know. Now let's get going, we probably shouldn't stay that long. "

It seemed like all night we had been going around asking about Marco Polo. Apparently no one knew who we were talking. About two hours in I had just given up. Unfortunately Aura wasn't that easy to convince. She kept going until finally an old woman told us were we could find him. " Aura lets go we need to get out of here the sun is coming up!" " Be quiet Bast we are almost at his house." Just as she said that she stopped in front of a small yet well built house. " See we are here." " Well that stupid book better be in here." She looked at me and gave me a frown " don't call the book stupid." As she spoke she knocked on the door. Great so we didn't have a plan and now she was knocking   on some guys door, how else could this night go. " Hello?" A man answered the door, why would he answer to strangers? " Hello sir. Sorry to wake you during this time of night, but we are looking for something." I just stayed quiet there was no way I was getting involved. " What makes you think I have it? I have never seen you before in my life." Aura's tail twitched a little as Marco spoke. He had a point we were just random people on his door step in the middle of night who had just woken him up for an object he might not even have. " Well what is it you are looking for, I'm sure it is very important." Aura smiled and her face lit up as he spoke.  " We are looking for a golden book. It isn't real gold of course just painted." She was lying I knew she was. The book was made out of gold she just didn't want to tell him. What if he did have it, he would surly keep it with the knowledge of how valuable it was. " Hold on" Marco turned around and walked in his house. It was a few minutes before he returned, but when he did I knew he didn't have it. " I'm sorry, but I don't have this golden book." Aura's smiled lessened, but she remained nice even though I knew she was disappointed. " Thank you sir and sorry to wake you up." Marco accepted some money Aura mysteriously found and shut the door. Aura started walking away and before I knew it we were leaving the exciting town. Why was she acting like this now? She didn't really think she was going to find it on the first try did she? I sighed as we past the large opening to the vast city. It was actually pretty fun here, and there food was delicious which of course settled my growling beast of a stomach. We continued walking for some time without a word exchanged. It was kinda hard to not here Aura speak. " Aura we need to talk. Don't get upset over this book we will find it. Don't worry that you didn't find it on the first try. I never find things on the first tr-." Before I could finish I was cut off.  " You don't understand!" I was stunned she was yelling at me and I didn't even know why. " Why are you yelling at me I didn't even do anything to the book." She began to cry and I felt kinda bad, but I didn't even know why she was flipping out. " Bastille you don't understand." I looked at her and remained calm. I didn't think she would tell me what was happening until she began rambling about it. " I lost the book. I don't know how, but I lost it. I probably will never find it and then I had to bring you into this mess. I'm sorry Bast." She began to sob and I stepped in. I got close and she leaned on my shoulder. " Don't worry it isn't your fault. People lose things all the time." " Yeah, but they don't lose things like this." She was shuttering against me and then I realized I was comforting her. I smiled to myself and held her closer. " Don't worry we still have the tree and 1393 Bc. Now instead of crying lets go get that book back." Aura looked up at me and smiled her eyes were kinda puffy, but she was still pretty.  I blushed at this thought, but didn't looked away. I actually had a friend and I was gonna keep her.

When we got to the tree Aura wasn't shocked that the book wasn't there in fact she said she was relieved. " This just means we can hang out longer." When she said this I smiled I realized she was indeed my friend. " Now are you ready to go to 1393 BC?" I smiled and thought of something stupid " will there be dinosaurs?" Aura laughed and playful hit me. " Yeah I'm ready." Quickly she pulled out another golden orb. Once more she said " Hold on!" We were transported again, but this time I didn't scream I just held on to Aura and closed my eyes. I trusted her now and there was no need to be scared. When we landed everything was wet. I opened my eyes and realized we were in the water. Aura panic instantly " I can't swim!" she shrieked as she began to sink. How was I going to save her? Sure I could float, but I could barely swim. Without thinking I dove down. The water was murky and I could barely see, but finally I reached her. I grabbed her and began to rise. Why am I not moving? I began to panic to. We weren't floating up like we were supposed to. I tried to push my legs, but nothing was happening. Aura had passed out and black started to consume my vision. I gave a tug and finally we began to rise. I gasped as we reached the surface of the water. Aura still wasn't waking up and I had no idea if she was breathing or not. " Please don't leave me!"

    Chapter Four: Egypt-1393 Bc
After a few minutes, which seemed like an eternity, I finally dragged the lifeless Aura to the closest shore. The 'beach' was covered in stalks of sugar cane, but I didn't take time to look around all of my attention was directed towards Aura.  After I placed her on the ground I could fell a pulse, but I knew she had water in her lungs. I had no idea what to do, I wasn't a doctor and I didn't want to hurt her so I just stood there. I barely knew this girl yet I felt a tear roll down my fury face. " Aura please wake up!" the tears were soon streaming down my face as I sat over my limp friend. Slowly I got up my nerves and put my hoofs on her and pushed a little. Not hard, but just a little. With the first push I saw a gurgling coming from Auras mouth. I was determined to help her. I wasn't going to back out this time. I kept pushing on Auras stomach until I saw her eyes open in panic. Quickly as she sat up I moved out of the way. The water that had filled her lungs was spilling out of her mouth and though this was a scary moment I smiled. I had saved my friend, I didn't back down. Without thinking I comforted her I know she is probably terrified. In fact during the time she wasn't awake her golden shine had dissipated, which worried me even more. Now her color was becoming restored and I let out a sigh of relief. " Aura are you okay?" I looked at her and smile somewhat smiled. " I-I-I'm okay" she finally managed to say. We didn't talk much after that considering she and I were both exhausted. Also because she had explained that it hurt a little to talk, so I didn't push her. In fact earlier she was pretty much the only one talking anyway. I sighed here and there as she laid next to and took a nap. Though I was tired I was going to let her rest for an hour or two because of what just happened. As Aura rested I looked at the rising sun and smiled to myself. The sun was giving off a golden hue and so was the sand that surrounded us. This placed seemed like the perfect home for Aura though I don't remember if she liked the hot. In fact I didn't really know much about her, we would have to talk more when we got back. My eyes went wide 'if we got back' was the question. When Aura was drowning I hadn't paid attention to see if her sack was still there or not. Quickly I turned to her to see that she had the sack and was using it as a pillow. I sighed and tried to calm my pounding heart, so far my night had been crazy. I mean it was fun, but it was crazy. I found a creepy house and went inside to find a crazy golden girl, who I hate to admit, but I was starting to crush on. Then apparently she lost a very important book and she is a time traveler. That about sums up my night, and to think after my nap in the park I was going to get some pizza. The sun was now starting to fully rise and I knew I would have to wake up Aura in a minute. The thing was she looked so peaceful in her sleep. Considering her experience just a few hours ago I would say she needed the rest. Unfortunately some local farmers had found us and abruptly awoke Aura and shooed us off. Aura however was happy they had done this. I could tell she just wanted to find this book and get out of Egypt.

" Bast we are just in time it will be noon in about an hour and we need to go and hide behind these stalks of sugar cane." I didn't ask her why since I was pretty sure she would explain when we got there.  As we settled down in the thick stalks she started explaining are plan. " Bast thanks for saving me back there. If you weren't here, well..." she shuttered and I jumped in. " Don't worry about it Aura, now what is the plan" I was trying to get her back on track and stop thinking about the incident. " Well we are waiting for a basket to be discarded by the queen of Egypt. You see this basket will contain a baby in it and when she takes the baby she will leave the basket." I looked at her and it clicked " So you think the book is in the basket?" she smiled and nodded. This would explain why we were so close to the palace and I could actually see the queen and her son playing. I smiled at the little boy and we waited. A few minutes later I spoke once more " Hey Aura have you ever tried sugar cane?" " No have you?" " No, but I know how to eat it if you want to." She smiled and nodded so I quickly grabbed a stalk and broke it in half. " You just chew on it don't swallow!" I have read about horror stories if you swallow sugar cane, let's just say it isn't good. As we waited Aura and I munched on the nice juicy stalk and we were content. " Hey Aura what is your favorite weather?" She looked at me confused and smiled. " I like the winter and the cold." Before she could speak I replied " Me to!" After the brief conversation we didn't speak again it just seemed as if we had learned everything about each other from that one question. When the sun was at its highest point I saw the basket. I nudged Aura who gasped with excitement I knew who was in the basket, but I didn't speak. I only watched. I watched as the queen gasped at the discovery and took the child in her arms. I also saw how she gave all of her attention to the baby and how the jealous son was soon comforted. As they walked inside Aura took no time in waiting. She grabbed a sugar cane stalk and dragged the basket to us. " Here you look in the basket first." She closed her eyes and I watched as the basket glided towards me. How did the baby fit in here it was smaller then I thought. I quickly opened the folds and smiled. " It's here Aura we can go home." Aura flung open her eyes and squeaked with excitement. " We found it!" in that moment we began jumping up and down with joy and we were so giggly I thought it would never stop. " Are you ready to go home Bastille?" I looked at Aura and smiled. " Yeah let's go" she looked at me and pulled out a orb. This one wasn't gold though it was grey, like me. I couldn't help but think she used some type of magic to make it look like that. Without being told I grabbed Aura and hugged her when I opened my eyes we were back in the little den of the room from which we first left.

    Chapter Five: The Finale
Aura had placed the book back on the podium and I had dusted it off. I had taken a quick look at the inside of it and I was very impressed by the items it contained. They looked so normal like a pocket watch or a doll, but they probably ment so much. " Aura why is everything gold here?" She looked at me and giggled " I like gold!" I laughed and smiled. So when ever she got something from this book it turned gold. " Why do you have this book, what does it do?" Quickly Aura raised an eyebrow, " well you see it helps me find artifacts that can't fall into the wrong hands. Then I bring them here and they are deactivated therefore no one can use them for good, or bad." I smiled at her and realized she trusted me like I trusted her. " Bastille it is almost morning you are going to have to leave soon." I frowned I didn't want to leave. On the outside I was all alone and here I felt at home, at peace. " Aura I don't want to go, I-I like being with you." Though I kinda didn't mean it to sound like that I was happy it came out that way. " Don't worry Bastille you will see me again. Now close your eyes." " Please Aura, please" " Shhh just close your eyes." She giggled and I smiled and closed my eyes. I only here her words get softer and knew I was leaving " Bye Bast I will see you very soon."

I shuttered and opened my eyes. I was on the park benched. In fact it was morning and it seemed as though I hadn't even moved. Snow was on my body and I was practically frozen. I stood up and shook it off. I looked in the direction on the store to see it wasn't there. I panicked and started walking  around. " That wasn't a dream was it?" I muttered out loud, no one was around but honestly I didn't care. After 20 minutes of walking in a small circle I slumped down on the fimiliar bench. It all seemed so real, I remember saving Aura I felt her breath again. I hugged her, I even cried for her. I sighed and as I did so I felt a jingle. What was this? I looked down at my neck to see a big golden bell wrapped around it. Also on my tail were smaller golden bells and my hooves had turned golden. I had a marks along my back that were gold and they all seemed to glow. I looked at my scarf and it was like a dark night storm cloud floating around my neck. I smiled to myself she was real! I knew it! I looked at the bench and found a note. " Hey Bast! If you ever want to see me again just hold the big bell around your neck and you will be transported to me, only this time it won't be a dream or anything like that." I smiled and quickly held the bell. Soon I was in the store and in front of my stood Aura. " Back so soon!" " I guess you can't get rid of me." I smiled and looked at her " okay I get the golden bells and gold marks, but why the scarf?" " Well your name is Bastille which is the band who sings Pompeii which is the city destroyed by the volcano" she said taking in a big breathe, " so it reminded me of the ash cloud when the volcano erupted. Sure the cloud cut off the sun and the volcano killed, but there was also a new beginning from it. I guess what I'm saying Bastille is I'm giving you a new beginning." I raised an eyebrow and cocked my head at her. " What do you mean new beginning Aura?" " I am giving you the chance to leave all of the stuff you currently have behind and come work with me." Her smiled and it kind of looked nervous. I wanted to play along " Well..." I said sounding doubtful and instantly I saw her face drop. " I guess I can work with you." I smiled and Aura squeaked and jumped around before I new it she had kissed me on the cheek. " Well lets get started!" " Uh Aura can I get some rest first?" I blushed slightly " Well of course silly, there is a spare room follow me!" As Aura lead me to my new room I smiled and realized I had made a new friend, earned my colors, and made something of myself. Slowly my face lit up the way Auras does and without thinking " I'll race you there." We both giggled and that night, or should I say day, I slept very well. The next day of course Aura and I started our long adventures all over again, this time we would be collecting artifacts and I can see many more adventures in our future. Maybe one day I will find out how she new me before this until then, I will  have as much fun as I can with my.
