Im so sorry for your poor kitty.... I lost my girl to a 3 month battle with cancer in 2010. I still have her son and little fuzzy gray blob who I rescued,but losing pets sticks with you forever. I wish you better luck with future pets. </3

Ive had my new girl, Lily fr about 3 years, i got her a few days after tilly pasted as i missed having a cat sleep on my bed. Her name Lily is after Tilly, Move one L to replace the T.

Yeah when I lost a pet I always wanted to get anew one right away too. They're good for hugging and doing cute stuff to cheer you up in times of grief.

So.. sorry. I have always wanted a pet, but i have never had it, my mom had a dobermane named Dom. I never knew him, but i know that he was a good dog. But.. he had to be put down because of cancer (i don't really know, my mom never told me.).

I just feel so bad for Tilly… now I'm crying, and i cat she the lethers.

Haha aw, thank you, but in a way she lives on in all the adopts i get of her,its my way of remebering her.

Keep read this and literally cried because it reminds me of my cat. We had her for 11 months until she was put down. Even worse, she was hardly over a year old. Also, I'm really sorry for your loss!

I've lost two pets in my lifetime, a cat and a dog. We still have my deceased cat's brother, who we nicknamed fatty. He's 13 years old, so i'm having to prepare myself for his death :c

At least you gave your cat some good last weeks, because it's obvious she loved you.

even thought i only had her for 9 weeks? I mean i adored her, i was so upset when i had to say goodbye. Didnt know if the feeling was mutual.

I'm so sorry! I was in sixth grade when my cat Trixie died; I was completely numb, and I never really found out whether she was euthanized or died of natural causes. The thing that comforts me is that we found Trixie in a blizzard, and she was freezing cold, and I'm sure that her ten years with my family were the best of her life. Tilly sounds like an amazing cat, and I'm sure that she had the best weeks of her life living with such a loving family. Now I need to cuddle my living kitties because I'm crying.

She was put to sleep, Put down also means put to sleep, Or in other words given a drug that takes there life but makes it like they are just going to sleep. Thinking back, I don't think I've ever been able to watch a pet of mine as the vet gives the drug to them, though as I've only had two pets so far, that's probably not saying much.

Probably best that you didn't. I had one animal put down, but I watched him. It's really sad...
