Dear Old Brain,
Okay, I'm finally out of the forest. I'm entering the marketplace right now. I might grab a fish for Jasmine; she'll like that.
"Come on Blaze." Blaze and I wandered through, looking at each of the stalls. And you'll never guess who I found!

That's right - it was Harmonia again!
"What do you want?" I demanded.
"Look at him." Harmonia pointed to a ragged, scruffy figure curled up on the ground. A few kind-looking animals were throwing bread at it.

"So what about him?" I demanded.
"Look at how sad he is. And cold. And hungry. And suffering." Wow, I almost felt sorry for the poor boy! Wait, did I just say poor? That's a weakness! Oh come on Celuna, it's dumb not to tell the truth! Now I'm just arguing with myself.
"Okay? And your point is?"
"Look after him, and all the other poor, homeless animals. As queen, you rule the whole of Daffana, not just the Castle. These animals are under your care. You must protect them, nourish them, raise them, and train them. They will be loyal to you if you are loyal to them." I guess that makes sense.

Dear Old Brain,
Ugh. I swear, there's something up with that girl. Yeah, her, Harmonia! Why? Because here she is again! Grr...

Oh, I also forgot to mention, she lost another 'life'. Ugh. But this time, Harmonia spoke first! How rude!
"Hello."
"What is it, Harmonia?" I was shocked by the politeness in my voice.
"We cool?" she asks, coolly.
"Uh, yeah, I guess."

Before I know it, we're at the shore.
"Why did you bring me here?" I enquired.
"Why do you think?"
"You're lecturing me again?"
"More than 'lecture', Celuna. More than that. I'm bringing back the real Celuna, the real queen, the one who was appointed heir."
"Uh, that's already me." I can't believe we're talking as if we were friends! I don't think she's my daughter...
"Mmmmhhmmmkay..."
"Whatever. Come on, so what?" I demand, kicking away an ugly shell.
"Hey, that's rare! Respect your surroundings!" Harmonia yells. "Shells are for decoration and collecting, not kicking around! If you don't want them, leave them alone!"
"Uh, they're not alive. I know you feel sorry for living things, and thanks for showing me that, but, er, nobody's getting hurt if someone kicks a shell."
"Do you know how long these citizens take to keep this beach clean and tidy?" she continues, ignoring what I said.
"Um, no."
"Well, it's very long," she explains. Somehow, I then found myself tidying up the shells, and patting down the sand and brushing up all the litter. What other wonders does this 'Harmonia' work?

I wonder when I'll see Harmonia again.

She read my mind! At least, I think! Why else would she pop up at this exact moment?
"Hi!" Harmonia chirped.
"Hey," I said, less enthusiastically.
"Want to go to sleep? It's getting dark." I noticed the vibrant, amber-pinky-purpley-yellowy sky.
"Er, sure," I replied, shrugging. So we padded on to a small rock by the sea. "Mmmhrrmm..." I murmured as I began to doze off.

SPLASH!
My eyes flashed open fearfully.
"Huh?" I felt cold droop in my wings, a bitter, algid breeze raking over my head. It took a few seconds for me to figure out I was in water, and then began frantically kicking my way back up to the surface. Is this a dream?

I reached the arctic surface and choked out several icy mouthfuls of water before gulping some air and plunging back down. I paddled desperately in search of Harmonia. After all this, I've kind of grown to like her. I would miss her creepy stalking wherever I wandered.

Suddenly, I spotted a small bobbing head along the waves. I was surprised she didn't just do some amazing magic to summon her back up! Batting away a useless crab, I furiously swam towards her.
"I'm coming!" I promised. Finally, I reached her and sunk my teeth into her scruff and began dragging her out. I realized the tide had come in and submerged our little rock. Thankfully, it was going back down and it was possible to stand on the rock if you dug your claws in and didn't mind the sea dragging your belly fur.
"Thanks, mother!" Harmonia smiled. Mother? I remembered her claims to be my daughter, and wondered if it was really true. A memory flashed into my mind of having a litter of pups; not Snowtail, long before that...

I shook my head. No, it couldn't be! I saw a fish swimming up towards us. When was the last time Jasmine tasted fish? A long time. I tentatively stretched out a shivering paw to hook the fish, but Harmonia pulled it back.
"Hey, the ocean isn't for us to destroy, you know."
"Yeah, but it's for Jasmine!"
"Still, can't she get her own food? She might see it as you think she can't catch her own food. And if everyone killed everyone to feed everyone, what do you think would happen?" Harmonia prompted.
"Er, there'd be nobody left alive?" I suggested.
"Correct."

And with that, another candle flickered itself out.
