hmm, wolves? Wanderer a black wolf, and winter white.

Two wolves lay in a hollow log, far from any other pack or group of wolves. They slept peacefully, the morning sun just starting to trickle over the horizon. The black wolf was the first to wake, its eyes opening to a misty morning. After a minute the wolf known as Wanderer stood, and looked at its companion. With a sly look the wolf leaned in and got close to the other's ear.

"Wake up... Winterbolt..." After a minute with no response Wanderer barked causing Winter to spring up in a defensive manner. Laughter erupted from Wanderer, and Winter shot the wolf a distasteful glance.

"Thanks." The white wolf muttered. Stepping back, Wanderer let the sleepy wolf step out of the log. "It is way too early to be up. I was getting good sleep for once."

Ignoring the serious atmosphere Wander laughed and kept on messing with Winterbolt. "Hey, it was your idea to leave the pack... I was contempt with staying in a warm den along with everyone else."

Winter shot the black wolf another glare, this time it was filled with humor. "Wow, funny, because I remember you were the one who wanted to leave." They both continued on bickering about it until the tone became a bit more solemn. "Oh well, I guess it is just you, me, and the tin-can-co." This caused them both to laugh, and shake their heads.

"We need to go hunting. Unless it is your idea to starve." With that the two wolves walked off to go hunting.
