There was a ringing in both of his ears. A ringing that Harvey couldn't stand.

Bombs were going off in all directions, along with the sounds of bullets ripping across the land.

Paws churning beneath him, Harvey fought to deliver a message. Two soldiers flanked him, dressed in outfits almost identical to the Parrapups's.

Bang.

One soldier was gone.

Bang.

And now the other one was too. With the last of his strength, the formerly pompous Parra launched himself into the air; fire-y wings forming in his wake.


He had to deliver this message, whether it be the death of him or not.

Home is where Harvey was, looking off into the distant with a dull gaze. Recently he had been dismissed from the military, due to having twisted his leg the wrong way and not being able to walk any more.

An aggravated sigh escaped the Parrapup's beak, head lowering down to rest in his paws.

At least here, it was relatively peaceful.

With a content sigh, Harvet let himself drift off.

Home was the best place to heal a heart, especially one scorched by the fire of war.
