Thanks! o3o"We're here," Archie said with a big breath. The pyramid was a great sight up close. He turned around, "Okay guys, today, we are going to be exploring the pyramid. Be careful, and try not to get lost." They all walked inside and marveled at the ruins of an ancient kingdom. Each brick was chiseled carefully to perfection and the hieroglyphics on the walls told of great stories that has happened before.
Many tourists from Chicken Smoothie were there as well, snapping pictures, trading with the guards, and leaving some snacks for kitties. Archie decided that they should split up, so he was on his own. He was so absorbed looking at the many designs on the wall, that he didn't notice that he was going to ram into someone, before it was too late. Their heads banged together, and Archie fell to the ground. "Oh, my bad," he rubbed his head. "I'm so clumsy sometimes."
"No, it was my fault. I wasn't looking," a voice answered.
Archie looked up to see a cat. She was dressed in elegant jewelry and designed with intricate markings. "Are you alright?" she stretched her paw out.
He blushed a little as he took her paw. "Yeah, I'm fine. Umm... Nice to meet you, but I should get going."
The cat seemed to smile a bit, "As should I. It was a pleasure getting to know your presence." She curtsied, and walked down the long corridor.
Archie was a bit dazed, but quickly snapped out of it when somebody called his name. "Yes?" He walked back towards the entrance of the Pyramid, not forgetting his strange encounter with the cat.

Cleocatra bit her lip. Who was that strange dog? She paced around in her room for the fifth time already. She always did that when she was thinking. Cleocatra was so absorbed in what she was thinking, that she didn't hear somebody enter her room.
"Your highness?"
Cleocatra nearly jumped out of her fur. "Er-, Uh-, What? Oh, it's just you." It was the Head Guard again. He always seems to come up at the worst of times.
"Your highness, we have received many more relics to help secure the curse."
She sat down on her bed and combed her fur with a solid gold brush. "Excellent. This curse should be gone soon enough. Say, Mr..."
"It's just guard, miss." The guard seemed unfazed at the fact the queen forgot his name.
"Right, guard. Say, guard, is there a list that shows the tourists that come to visit here?"
The guard shook his head, "Sorry, your highness, but the list would be too long."
"Oh." Cleocatra was a bit disappointed. "Very well. Please excuse me." She walked past the guard and into the long hallways. No tourist comes at night, so she was free to travel around as she pleases. She walked to the second chamber, where a cat was hidden behind a wall of leftover bricks that the guards didn't need. Cleo squatted down, and cooed at the little cat. The cat didn't budge, but instead, just watched the Queen. The Queen left some scarab beetles that were flying by her window in front of the kitten. The kitten eyed it, and scampered out to snatch it.
The Queen quietly pet it before going to the top chamber. Up there, was a couple of crocorats that were hiding in a small box. They didn't amuse her very much, so she walked back down. She sighed. The pyramid is so gigantic, yet, it felt so confined. There was practically nothing to do here. She walked back up to her room, and opened the window. The desert wind came in as a gentle breeze as she looked out to the endless hills of sand. The moonlit sky cast a deep shadow on the ground that made it appear the sand would engulf anyone who came it's way into a deep pit of nothingness.
She looked around. The midnight guards were at the entrance of the pyramid, ensuring the Queen's ultimate safety. Cleo let out a deep sigh, and laid on her bed. The scarab beetles were flying outside, so it was dangerous to open her window any longer. She got up to close it, but as she did, she noticed something she never noticed before. It was a small market place. They seemed to be still open, because the lights weren't dimmed yet. She got a thought she has never thought before. What if she escaped? It would be for just one night, and then she can safely come back. She could go and feel the sand in between her toes instead of just seeing it. She looked to make sure no guards were below her window. Cleo took a deep breath, before jumping out of her window. She landed on her four paws, and got up. The sand seemed to have softened her fall.
This was it. She was out of the pyramid, and she was going to see the real world.
