Destined to Sleep
I suppose I can't say I was supposed to see the prophecy. But other than the fact it was kept under lock and key in a chamber almost no one knew about and guarded by the strongest soldiers around, also protected by a curse, it was practically screaming at me to read it. So I can hardly take fault for what happened.
I was at the right place at the right time. Our servants were preparing a meal for our guards, and there happened to be sleeping powder nearby. Perhaps I shouldn't have been drugging other animals at age 7, but I thought it was salt. A couple hours later and all our soldiers were unconscious, which left the library chamber accessible. I was digging around and managed to find a very ancient looking scroll. It was the most interesting thing I had seen yet. So of course, I opened it and secured my death.

A/N: Sorry these are so short, and sorry it took so long. I procrastinated a bit. :P
