- A tiny Parra looked up to a larger one, and the latter's large build was fizzling in
and out of the Fledgling's view. Nevertheless, it was absolutely ecstatic, as always.
Chattering it's beak happily, the small, white Parra looked up to the adult. "Hello
Dad!" he chirped, bouncing up and down excitedly.
"Hello Space." the older one chuckled, who was now the 'father'. His beak twisted
into that of a smile, looking down at Space. The little fledgling attempted to wag
his tail is excitement, but couldn't, due to the metal rod replacing the bone.
"Do you like your new tail that those nice humans gave you?" father chirped, leaning
to the side to get a better look at his son's tail.
"Of course, Dad! I love it, it's better than when I had no tail before!" Space blabbered,
but then his eyes suddenly widened. As if magic, stars and various space-y things
began to appear in the open landscape around him.
"Dad! I'm in space!" Space squealed, rocking back on his paws and letting out excited
chirps. His orange eyes darted around, happy to finally be in space.
"I'm proud of you, son." father said in his deep voice, smiling gently down at the fledgling.
"Dad," Space began curiously, "Are you space?"
"Yes," it was as if the father parra's voice began to glitch out and obtain a static-y sound.
"Now we are a family again."
For a split instant, a female parra appeared by father, and was smiling. Just as Space
was about to get up and tackle his smiling mother, everything vanished.
"Mom? Dad?" Space called out, receiving no answer.
