Hey Whatever!
Things are going normal. Well... as normal as it can get for a teenager with a science experiment as a friend and a psychopathic popular controlling the social activities of the school.
Silt still disapproves of me but he's not mean or anything... just acting awkward... actually i think Tania and Rocky are still kinda... they all know i'm hiding something and let's just leave it at that.
I was thinking Sam would officially be part of our little group now- after everything that happened yesterday, but at lunch i saw he was sitting by himself again and he awkwardly explained to me that he preferred to be a loner... -__- REAL NICE SAM! >.> Never mind.
Huge got suspended. Yay... I think.
Rumors are going through the school that Zach got turned down by Gwen 'cause she has her eye on someone else.
And Princess went a bit...

Goth... yeah.
It's been raining all day so far which has lifted the schools sprits slightly, plus we got a new, boring, regular science teacher much to me and Sam's relief. UuU
So, yeah! Good old normality! c:

You will never guess what happened! XD Two things! You'll never be able to guess what! (Partly because you don't have a brain.)
OK, Rocky actually did that prank! Remember when i first met him he was talking about it? Okay, he rang half the parents of the students of the school (savvy?), pretending to be the principal with some sort of voice manipulator thingy, and told them school was cancelled for the week due to flooding!!! Haha! So we don't have school for the week while all the populars and jocks do! XD Rocky made sure they stayed in school. He told me the teachers would probably figure something was up when half the school didn't turn up so we might not have a whole week. So, i made use of my time! OuO
I decided to go for a walk to town (even though it's still raining). Okay, this is where you-will-never-guess-what-happened #2 happens!
I decided to get a coffee and walked into the closest café, i ordered my gingerbread and spices coffee and just as i was going to sit in a corner when i ran strait into...*drumroll*...

Oh yeah, you were just waiting for that! Okay maybe not, but anyways... I was completely taken by surprise (it's a good thing our drinks had lids or owie)!
Me: Oof! Sor- John?!
John: Wha- Alex! What are you doing here? Yikes! He looked like he'd been living on coffee- never sleeping!
Me: Getting coffee, why else would i be here? I thought you were on vacation?
John: Well... yea... not really. I wish i was though.
Me: Why aren't you at school?
John: I'm wondering the same thing about you.
Me: *chuckles nervously* I suppose that makes us even.
Cashier: Hey, fluffy duckies, you're blocking the way. FLUFFY DUCKIES!?!?!?
Me: We are canines! Have you been living a lie with a bunch of ducks for your whole life!?!?!
John: Er... do you want to sit?
Me: Yes. *storms off to a table*
Cashier: freak...
So we sat down and began sipping on our steamy drinks.
John: So why aren't you in school?
Me: Er... it's cancelled for the week...only for half the students... due to flooding.
John: Oh-kay... that's weird.
Me: *chicago accent* Hey, no school? for a week? I'll take that. *sips coffee*
John: Okay.
Me: So why haven't you been at school if you weren't on vacation?
John: *sigh* You won't tell anyone else will you?
Me: No. Why?
John: My dad... he died of cancer the other day. My mother wanted us to take a break from school.
Me: Your... dad?
John: Yeah.
He looked so sad! And i am NOT soppy if i almost teared up!
Me: I... I'm sooo sorry.
John: *small smile* It's not your fault.
Me: I wish i could do something; i wouldn't be able to hold it together like you are if my dad... yea.
John: Thanks... He had a weird look on his face when he said that...
Me: You okay?
John: Um... yea, I should... go. It was nice seeing you. Maybe we could catch up another time?
Me: Yeah. What's your number?
We exchanged our cell numbers, said bye and left.
It was still raining outside but things didn't seem too dark.
Well, that was all yesterday.
I've been texting John and my friends half the day and watching movies the next 'cause my dad wouldn't let me go outside with it still pouring down.
So yeah. Don't be surprised if i don't write in you for the rest of my 'week off', 'cause i mean, this is the perfect opportunity to do what i don't get to do during the school days so i'm gonna be busy... eating cookies. >w<
You know, for once in my life, things aren't so bad.

Hai Whatever!
My first day back at school after that prank- the teachers found out a few days later so we only got half a week off. ^.^ Better than none. And apparently Sam got some time off too which was good of Rocky.
Yesterday i went to the mall with Tania, Rocky, Silt and Gem.

Tania insisted for Gem to come but we didn't mind, she's pretty polite and nice, but real quiet... unless you ask her if she has any pets... Don't ever ask her that.
Anyways, we had fun, Tania tried on so many clothes i had a dream about it last night. Gem helped her search and try out every blue item of clothing in every store we entered while i checked out the black and reds and the boys looked in the guy section of the store or talked about whatever guys talk about. And i saw Silt buy Tania a bracelet, they were blushing so much when he gave it to her! No doubt about it; they dig each other. It was a great time! (Not to mention Rocky scared some customers out of one particular store with his scary, giant, imitation-of-a-lion-growl fart... that sounded way less weird in my head...) So yeah... lots of fun. Like seriously.
Well that evening our parents broke the news to us that we had to go back to school the next day which was sad but hey, life ain't fair right?
Rocky didn't get caught for his prank either which he thought was a miracle.
And at lunch there was a new face.

???: HI! *sits next to me* My name's Winter, what's yours?
Me: uh... Alex. Wha-
Winter: Isn't that a boy's name?
Tania: What are you doing here, Winter? Gwen isn't gonna like how you're breaking her rules.
Winter: Psh! No more than you guys have. Gwen can take a hike.
Me: Got that right.
Rocky: Wait, you're in the average group right?
Winter: Technically yes, but i don't care about her stupid rules, she can't control my life.
Me: Oh yeah! *hi-fives Winter* Glad someone else thinks so.
Winter: Likewise!

And we all just talked together. Winter is really confident and strong minded and she loves being the captain of some ice-hockey team. And there's something up with her...
I was walking to this class with Sam (remember- we have english together?) when Winter appeared next to me.

Winter: Hey Alex! Hi Sam! What class do you guys have?
Me: We have english...
Winter: Both of you?
Me: Yeah-
Winter: Good luck with that, english is the worst. Do you guys want to go bowling with me tonight?
Me: Probably not, sorry, i have way too much homework and plus i doubt my dad would let me.
Winter: Oh, maybe next time then. What about you, Sam?
Sam: Er... i- um, can't. I have homework and... yoga.
Winter: You do yoga?
Sam: Uh, no, sorry, i meant karate practice.
Winter: Oh, okay. See you guys! *runs off*
Me: *looks at Sam like *
Sam: I don't know either.
And we went into class.
Weird.

So that's life so far. (Oh, and John still isn't at school.)

Okay, half the school has gone WACKADOODLE! (Oh yeah, hi Whatever.) I was walking down the hall when i saw a huge group of dogs talking about stuff (not that that's unusual but listen to what i heard them say!) :
1: Oh my gosh, i caught somebody the other day trying to peek in my dental floss! Can you beleive it?!
2: And someone stole my coockoo clock!
3: I've made sure my rose bush is safe in a secret place so no one will ever read it.
1: And did you hear about the person that called theirs a chicken?! Can you beleive it?!
4: Oh my stars! Who writes in a chicken?!
1: I KNOW RIGHT! Isn't that cannibalistic?!
(Get a dictionary, girl. -__- )
5: I write in a pumpkin!
6: Dude, who has a pumpkin when you can have a unicorn!
...
... yep. It's the food. I'm gonna sue the kitchen ladies.

So aside from the students going funny in the head things are going pretty hokay dokay (or 'fine' if you can't speak awesome... Just forget i said that.)
Tonight we're going ice skating! XD First time! And it's free! Winter said that the ice rink would be free tonight and so we'd be free to just skate around and stuff. YAY! >w<
And did i mention Winter is super pushy?
So that's all i have to report, diary. ... ... ... ... ... Oh yeah, sure, just ignore me. >:(

Tonight was... fun... but... annoying.
Me, Silt, Tania, Rocky, Sam and Winter were the only ones in the ice-skating rink.

It took me forever to get my ice-skates on! Everyone had pretty much oriented themselves by the time i set foot in the rink.
Rocky: COMIN' THROUGH!!! *flails as he flies across the ice on his skates*
Tania: Rocky! *dives out of the way*
Silt: Ahhh! *falls out of the way*
Sam: *looks over his shoulder* *skates out of the way for dear life*
Winter: Stop! Make a 'T' with your shoes!
Rocky: ARE YOU INSANE?!?! THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR MAKING TEA WITH ICE BLADES!!! OOOF! *smashed into wall* ow
..."pretty much oriented themselves"...
Anyway, the rink was FREEZING!!! And i was stupid enough to blame the air-conditioning, which earned me a laughing fit from the others.
I figured out how to be a pro at ice-skating... yeah i totally shamed everyone else- okay, i'm terrible at it. I gave up counting how many times i fell after 52. Winter gave up teaching me after 5 minutes. But in the end i managed to skate around the rink without too many faults... thanks to Sam... it was kinda like moon walking... forwards... awkward silence *cough* with a book. *cough! cough!*
Ahem, anyway, Rocky was pretty terrible on ice-skates too, he had some really creative way of falling. Silt was probably the best out of us (aside from Sam and Winter- speaking of which...
Sam was showing me how to skate properly when Winter came up and took over and showed me how to do it before leaving me to practice to go and talk with Sam. T-T No i'm not getting annoyed for no reason:
While i was practicing i think Winter went off somewhere and Sam came over to help again and i got it down pretty good so i could skate around the rink while talking to him. But then:
Winter: *shoots in between us* Hey guys!
Me: Ah! *falls... again*
Winter: You need to work on that.
Me: I'm pretty sure that was your fault!
Winter: I'm pretty sure i've done that with other people and they haven't fallen over. Keep practicing. Oh, and Sam?
Sam: ...yeah?
Winter: I was wondering what... *skates off talking about impalas or something- with Sam*
Me: >:(

Rude right? I decided i'd hang with Rocky and laugh at how many times we fell. BUT OF COURSE:
Me and Rocky were stuffing around, skating around the middle when Rocky accidentally pushed himself too hard across the ice and went flying right into me.
Me: Oof!
So i went flying across the ice and Sam and Winter happened to be right behind us so i crashed right into
Sam: Ah! Oof!
Ouch.
And it was super awkward 'cause i fell onto him...
Me: *scrambles to get up*
Winter: Sam! Are you okay? *pulls him up* I exist... -_-
Sam: Er, yeah. You okay Alex?
Me: Ugh, yes. THANKS ROCKY!
Rocky: No problem!
Then Winter rushed off with him again, giving me a cold look as she went.
So much for a new friend. >:(

After that i ditched the ice-skates and slid around on the ice with my shoes- which was way more fun- until we all had to go home.
And now i am lying on my bed, feeling the pain from all my falls. -__-

It's been a bitter-sweet day so far... mostly bitter.
This morning I got to my locker and when I opened it, POOF! Flour exploded onto me! And everyone was cracking up because I look like a stunned ghost. TnT
Me: *Throws handful of flour at a nearby girl that's laughing*
That made everyone zip their pie-hole.
And I found a floury letter in my locker that said: Love from Gwen. I. am. going. to-

John: Hey Ale- woah.
yay, John is back! PERFECT TIMING!!!
Me: Back I see. You have no idea how much self-control it took for me to not be yelling I was SO ANGRY!!!
John: Er... yea. Um... what... happened?
Me: Rigged locker. I'd be happy to see you but i've got to go punch something, cool down and clean up all in that order before i get to that stage. *Storms off*
So i punched Gwen's locker and made a dent (in the locker and my paw) before going to the bathroom, shaking my clothes out and washing my fur. And then i got detention for coming to class late. -__-
Skip to science class, where we had to pick partners for the experiment we were gonna do, and me and John went together of course.
Me: So how are you? You just turned up at school out of the blue.
John: Yeah, I thought i'd surprise you. *shrugs*
Me: Oh... oookay.
John: You got that flour off well.
Me: Yea-
John: NO! DON'T MIX THOSE CHEMICALS!!!
And I got such a fright I did a little dance with my arms... okay, more like flailing my arms- and the chemical I had been unconsciously going to pour into the bunsen burner went flying across the room, resulting in some stained fur and ceiling tiles, and earning me more detention... no comment.
The rest of the day went pretty normally... although I have the funny feeling Sam is avoiding me. Every time i've seen him he's been with Winter or he's been too busy to even look at me or something! It's not like we hung out all the time or anything but he isn't having anything to do with me at all now. So he's found someone better to be friends with... WELL FINE THEN! ;-;
