Have you ever met a person with the same name of one of your story characters?
Is it kind of awkward?

Oh and a name usually pulls up an image or synonym for me
cow= disgusting, unclean
horse= free, ride, ranch
internet= google chrome symbol
math= textbook
rain= clouds, wind
dragon= cover of the "Hobbit" the one where Smaug is with all the treasure

x. it's very awkward indeed.
yus, i have had a time where some else had the exact same name and last name as one of my characters.
it was creepy. o.o
and it sort of meant that i was predictable.

I've seen two people in my life who look exactly like this one OC of mine. They were both boys maybe 10 years old, maybe younger, but dang- that was EXACTLY how I'd pictured my OC if they were real.

Not that I remember, and I don't think it would be awkward. I mean, unless you are really into it! I mean, pfft I have a neighbor with the EXACT (first and last) name of a famous singer and he's like middle aged while the singer is a teenager... not awkward!

Yes it's very awkward. Though, I use more unknown/rural names in different languages, I have had this happen before o.o

I'll like.. hear the name being called in the store, and my characters face pops up in my head. So yeah.. XD

No, actually.
My ocs don't have //too// unusual of names, but there's too many people at my school I don't talk to for me to answer that.
The closest I got was having a girl named Callie in my class, which is just Cali with different spelling.
It didn't really feel weird though.
