Ugh, I hate writer's block. -_-

I have maybe half of my first chapter and all of Chapter Three finished, along with the Epilogue for what it matters, and I'm drawing a complete blank for the rest of Chapter one and all of Two. I have a general idea of how I want to get to Three, but when I actually sit down to write, I can't seem to think of anything. It's been the same way for the last couple days.

I'd like to at least finish the first chapter soon, and it's getting really frustrating staring at a blank sheet of paper. Does this ever happen to anyone else?

Also, I need some smoothians who are passionate in writing to write stories about encouraging people and help people to fight back bullies. Do you guys think that is a great idea? Please give me some comments about it. Thank you.

Its about making people feel better and encourage them. And also the asking for suggestions part, which authors who write the stories will give suggestions to those who are bullied or feeling sad.

Do you guys think tht is an awesome idea? Thank you for your time for reading this... Thank you very much.

I'm assuming this is an automatic-accepting thread here... correct me if I'm wrong and I'll wait to post. xD

I would love to help you out. In fact, if you'll let me and try to ignore my enthusiasm I'll do everything I can to do it. It's a great cause. I've had this story in my head for a while now, and now that I've seen this, it's time I get it out of my head and onto .... the screen. ^-^

I assume this is a automatic acceptance thread?! This how I came anyways... I will create the thread after my assessments passed. They mean so much to me because I am going to use my results for the selection to the better class, or even the best class in the grade. (I'm sorry, but I like everything to be perfect, I'm a perfectionist.) So. Thanks for participating in my idea!

@Shado: I've tried writer's block before, when I was sitting in front of my desk, trying to write a mind map. I froze when I saw the paper then I just sat there for a completely 3 hours and I still haven't come up with anything. That's frustrating.

So.... I've made the thread now. Although my assessments aren't there yet, but I will make the thread first!

so.... Here's the LINK

Writer's block is really annoying, I know the feeling big time.

A good way to get rid of it I find, is to plan 50 pages ahead of what you're writing, you can fill in the details as you go, But as long as you have an idea, why not let it become a spark?
Planning as you go is fine, and can really make for some cool plots - but if you're like me, it can also lead to really bad writer's block because you aren't sure where it's going. I'm stuck on a really annoying bit at the moment because of not planning ahead.

For most things I write, I plan 50 pages ahead (unless it's a short story or testing) and work from there! You can always go back and change (edit) stuff you dislike later, it may even give you a few new ideas, too.
Just my thoughts on writer's block, haha.

Oh, I get writer's block too, it's so annoying. With me its a different type of writer's block. It's not so much as a lack of motivation but a lack of confidence in my writing, I start to think things like, "Oh, this idea's so stupid." "Wow, I'm so weird for writing this." etc. But honestly, the best way to conquer a lack of enthusiasm for writing is to write twice as much. When you feel unmotivated that's when you need to write, more than ever. I know it sounds sort of odd but trust me, I've forced myself through writer's block and while it was difficult at first, soon I got into the swing of it, and I can now write pretty much anytime I want to. Defeat the writer's block; don't let it defeat you.

That's kind of what I do, actually. I don't count ahead 50 pages or anything that specific, but I often write future scenes and then go back and figure out how to get there. I know exactly how the story ends; like I said, I have the epilogue written already. ^^ And then there are several parts here and there that I've written at least a first draft for because I've already worked them out.

I'm not the kind of person who can just jump into a story and write it from beginning to end. I need to know where I'm going with it, so I have to have some kind of plan ahead of time. That's not really a problem with this story; it's been a huge issue with other stories I've tried writing in the past, though.

Funny thing, actually. After I posted here, I suddenly got a spark of inspiration and wrote some more. c: Still not sure what I'm going to do for Chapter Two, but I think I'll be able to finish Chapter One either tonight or tomorrow.

Adrea Plaster is a 13 year old living in New York City, of New York. Her parents are very busy, so she usually stays with her grandma. Her grandma is her best friend, because living in a big city is hard on Adrea. Adrea has long red hair, and braces. Her usual clothes are a t-shirt and jeans. Her friends are Sammy and Louisa, but they can't hang out much. Adrea has one older sister but she is going to college in California, and it's a long way so she can't visit very often. Adrea lives in an apartment not to far from her school.

Does this sound like a good backstory to the charecter I talked about a few pages back? (maybe, it might have been the page before this, but I don't think so) Any more information I need to include? I'm not that great of a writer..

EDIT:
It's on page 328 if you want to see it
