Sorry if I sounded a little desperate. It's a bit discouraging when you don't get much feedback on your books and the only feedback you've gotten is comprised mostly of the bad things. '^^ Not that I don't appreciate it, but...

In other news, here's a thingie for a new book, which I may or may not post on CS.

The scientist is most likely trying to find the keys to my cell, I think, smiling to myself. Too bad he won't find it.

And Vapor: I thought that was pretty good. I've read a bit of the first Eragon book. ^^

It sounds like an excellent idea, and you should pursue it.
After a successful escape, he, Vermillion, a girl spliced with a chameleon, and a disrespectful adolescent who is secretly a physic, race to figure out about the scientists before the scientists find them.
In this sentence- minor thing- you had extra details (I probably would've done the same... ), and you could keep the secret a secret until further into the book. (Just a suggestion. I'm not too great at wording all that much while attempting to communicate with others. Heh...) Otherwise, have fun! It is a great idea.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not too good with wording, either. And that's not the official thing, I just made most of that up on the spot. The wording, not the plot and characters and such. Although it switches viewpoints, so you learn about that the girl is a physic in around the second chapter. ^^

Has anyone had a bunch of characters with similar physical traits? For me it's guys with black hair. I don't know why. It just happens. I have about five so far. Half of which didn't continue on. x)

My characters seem to have darker or red hair, blue or green eyes, and are tall. Who knows why?
