I think Derek should go off with reliegh, Jared should get with her, while she's weak, but she realises at the same time as Derek does that they love each other.

It's a great idea but it doesn't exactly go with the plot I had in mind. I think I'm just going to time skip to when they get to the training academy in the next chapter which might be somewhat more discriptive then suspenseful.

We had been on the road for six more long days, taking many back roads through smaller towns. We barely made any more stops except to buy a bunch of greasy fast food to last us the whole day. All we ate was the greasy stuff the whole way and I felt so bloated because if it. We didn't stay the night at anymore motels because the back roads would delay us. Instead we slept in the car. It wasn't terrible but I'm not saying it was pleasant. And I'll admit, curling up with Derek to keep me warm and refusing to sleep to keep watch on the group was nice. Since he wouldn't sleep he would lean in whisper into my ear that I was beautiful. It was sweet and I could get used to him saying that.
Jared stopped one last time at a Wendy's so we could quickly eat breakfast before we got there. I decided to change into something a little more decent to meet whoever I was meeting. I kept going through what Derek had told me the night before we left. Our schedule and how it was like there, so I somewhat had an idea what it was like, but I had nothing to compare it to. I quickly changed out of my sweats and plain tee shirt and into a prettier outfit Dalila had picked out from Forever 21 for me. I liked it honestly and trusted myself to put it together with other things like she could do perfectly. I put my bright red hair in a side braid , my bangs the brushing against my pale face. I was getting used to seeing this in the mirror now.
"Astella! Lets go!" I heard Jared rushed tone and knew he wanted to get there soon. I grabbed my duffle bag and walked out of the bathroom, back to the car. I threw my bag in and climbed in the seat next to Derek. He glanced over at me and slid my braid gently through his fingers. I smiled at him and looked out the window.
"Nervous?" Derek asked in a quiet voice, studying my face to catch some sort of answer. But he already knew the answer. I was terrified, what if this was some sort if trap and all of them were in on it? But if I could trust these people them I would have nothing. . . I even trusted Raleigh with my life but now, I wasn't so sure. I pushed those thougt from my mind and knew I could trust them. They saved my life countless times and I had save theirs.
"A little, but nothing to worry about." I lied, I could tell he knew I was lying as well but said nothing.
"You'll be alright." He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek when no one was looking and smiled at me. I smiled back and moved slightly closer to him. We drive farther and farther from the city until we were in the middle of no where. That's when I saw it. A prison like place. Though, it was built mostly to keep people out of it. We drove passed the gate after the guard saw us and I saw three different buildings. One mansion looking place with little security, a smaller one with higher security then another gymnasium looking place with training courses scattered across the entire place. It was very impressive. Jared pulled up to the mansion and I found myself clutching onto Derek's hand tightly as a tall man with well groomed gray hair and a short grey beard walk down white pavement steps to the car.
"Wow, Jared. What happened to your car?" The man asked, referring to the missing car door. He held his hands behind his back and bent over, examining the damage. He glanced over at me and my grip tightened on Derek's hand.
"So this is the fourth hybrid. Welcome to the training academy! My son Bryant here will show you your room." A handsome boy came walking right by his father. He was well built with spiked blond hair. He looked about nineteen, any girl at my school would be crushing instantly.
"Um, alright." I gave Derek one last glance before everyone climbed out of the car. Jared was the first to get to the truck and popped it open, grabbing his two duffle bags and headed towards the smaller building. Raleigh did the same, trailing her suitcase behind her. I grabbed my book bag and duffle bag before waiting for Derek. He had a guitar case, duffle bag, and a laptop case.
"And Astella, My name is Mathew Walker." The tall man introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Walker." I gave him a small smile before he chuckled slightly.
"Please! Call me Matt, and I hope you find your room to your liking." He smiled ad turned on his heels, walking back to the mansion. I not down hard on my bottom lips and my gaze trailed over to Bryant who seemed to be amused at the sigh of my awkwardness.
"Come on, your rooms in that building over there." His voice was deep and he gripped my arm tightly, leading my toward the building. Derek was walking behind us and I could feel an angry stare right behind me.
"Hey! Lay off her, alright?" Derek growled angrily. Bryant looked at Derek, obviously annoyed.
"What do you care? You're always pulling off that tough guy act, I didn't know you had a soft side." I noticed the uncertainty coming from Bryant. He knew very well Derek could snap his neck effortlessly.
"Well-" Derek started hesitantly before he was cut off.
"Oh calm down, lover boy. All I'm doing is walking." He said sarcastically before turning around and walking, leading - more like dragging - me with him.
Bryant lead me through a series of hall ways until stopping at a wooden door. He turned the knob, revealing a nicely sized room with a desk, closet, and bed. I honestly liked it. Only there where no windows, which I found weird. You'd think there would be windows. I set my bags down on the bed and ran my fingers across the sheets.
"So, what do you do here? You're not a hybrid so you don't really need to be here." I kept my back turned to him, going through my duffle bag in search of my cell phone.
"Usually I go to a normal school. I use the training area sometimes just to get fit. But this year, there are other," Bryant had snaked his arms around my waist and I could feel his hot breath hitting against my neck. "things I'm interested in doing this semester." He whispered seductivly into my ear. My whole body tensed up as his hands started trailing past my waist. I quickly turned around, to push him off my but he aggressively threw me against the door, knocking the breath out of me. I had to admit, that extra time at the training center was laying off for him. He smirked and walked over to me, pinning me against the door with one arm and the other covering my mouth.
"Ah, ah, ah. We don't want someone to disturb out privacy now do we, sexy?" Bryant grinned ear to ear and locked the door. "You really are as weak and as they say. This should be easier than I thought." Bryant chuckled and pressed his full lips against mine. I pulled away instantly and looked at him disgusted.
"What is wrong with you?" I gathered up all my courage to spit right in his face. Bryant wiped the spit from his face and narrowed his eyes furiously. He raised his hand and smacked me hard right across the face. I felt it sting and squeezed my eyes shut so I wouldn't cry.
"Look sweetheart, you're not going to be difficult or this is just going to get worse for you." Bryant growled angrily. He started to undo my braid and let my hair fall onto my face.
"Now relax, there's nothing you could do anyway." His grin was back in a matter of seconds of anger. I drew in a deep breath as he started to lift up my shirt, I had the worst of luck.
