Most of my female characters are fairly placid and can sometimes be considered shy, [not true~] but tend towards instability later on, and can get very attached to certain things. I have a fun one who was very outgoing and leader-like as a child, pushing her twin brother around a considerable bit. However, she experienced some trauma and amnesia that caused that personality to disappear before she could remember her past life, and currently she is a bit unsettling. She's calm and oddly innocent, [how a child assassin can be innocent is beyond me, but it just happened] and not insane at all in the typical sense, but her values range from nonexistent in places, to disturbingly skewed, and even to normal in others. Oh the fun~
Katniss. Don't get me started on that girl.
I loved the Hunger Games, truly, though by the time the movie came out some of the obsessive fans started grating on my nerves a bit. [I preferred the first book, but for some reason I think the 2nd movie will be the best. But that's irrelevant.]
It got to the point that when asked why she wasn't my favorite character, I couldn't help but state that is she wasn't the narrator, most of her fans would strongly dislike her.
Very strongly.
She was sweet with Rue though.^^
