Haha, this is so off-topic, but I wanted to share it.
After reading the first part of Obscure's new story A Dog Called Tess, I had an epiphany. I wasn't using enought detailed words! (If you read it, you'd know what I mean xD) So, when I was out sick, I spent the day reading a Webster's dictionary.
*Like a boss*

Oh my god, you did not just sit and read the dictionary. XD
That's hilarious.
My nephew wanted to get better at reading and spelling, so he found a dictionary and started to read it. He read it for a good hour. He was eight. XDD

Lol. I read my dictionary app every once in a while. I have a pretty limited vocab for a writer. I'm going to go read it now!

I'm never use big words, since I never really learned them growing up, I've had crap English teachers all my life(except this year and last, she's awesome). So, I stick to what I know and if someone uses a word I don't know I'm like 'Gurl, what da hell does that big ol word mean???' I try to sound as illiterate as possible when I do. XDD

Hi guys!

I just made a thread to help people write stories for CS. Can you tell me what you think? ^^

Anyway, to add to the topic, I think thesauruses are much more interesting to read than dictionaries xD

okay so I am trying to write this story about a fox Clan that lives out in this meadow by a farm and whatnot [ I won't get into the details... ], but I need some names.
I wanted to have cool names like in those tribes or whatevs, or should they be nature names like "Clover" or "Daisy"?

I feel like if they were living next to humans and other animals [I'm assuming, because it's near a farm] then they'd have names without a suffix, or perhaps a "first" and "last" name [as in family name] after hearing the names humans give everything. or name themselves after the things like, yeah, nature, or maybe even farm animals or the names of the farm animals...or the names of the humans, even!

I have never liked 'Snowynose' 'Foxpaw' type names.
I think that they would name themselves like how Asian said.

I once read a book like Warriors (except better. I've read some of both, and this book is better in my opinion.) called The Cats of Roxville Station. They had these names: Ratchet, Queen, Flea Market. I love the cats names. I'm totally planning on stealing a name from that book eventually.

Ha ha! I've been known to read the dictionary when I was younger. I actually signed up on dictionary.com. They have this pretty neat game called Word Dynamo that helps you learn vocabulary words and things. It's pretty neat, if you're a word nerd like me. XP They have a lot of other great word games too.

Kat, I agree with Cherry-girl and asian. You should probably use something other then Warrior type names. You can still give them cool names though. They can be nature-type names or like asian said they might name themselves after things they see around the farm. Or you could make up names. ^^
