Links to your story if you have any: I have a thread that is just titled Mystra's Musings. This is where I will be posting my different stories. I don't have a name yet for the one currently posted.
Anything you want us to know?: I enjoy good concrit. It helps me grow as a writer. I do this as a hobby and I have breifly spoken to family about possibly collecting my various shorts and making a kind of collection out of them to possibly be published. So, anything that will further me along that path will be very much appreciated.

I need some advice, please.
Sometimes, when writing, I write too many thoughts, as in the character calculating how the other person will react and that. Any idea how to avoid that?

@Fanged- I have a similar problem. I can just go on and on and on, writing nonsense that is frankly a waste of time.

It's my goal in English class. See, this year I have an awesome English teacher, but she's pretty strict about writing. She made us set a goal. When I couldn't decide, I gave her samples of my writing, and right off the bat I was told I write too much. I -think- I've gotten better now, but it's still a huge problem.

I guess there's nothing really specific you can do to avoid that kid of problem, except when you're editing,edit out stuff instead of editing in. Only leave in the most important part, that's all I can really say c:

if you guys are on figment.com (a writing community), could you do me a huge favor and read over this and "heart" it if you like it? it's my first time writing in second person anyway, and I had to limit my word count (which I hate -_-).
it's for the current contest. the winner gets a laptop, so while I probably am not going to win (since it's a popularity contest to a degree), I wasn't going to let that slip out from under me! XD

@asian- I briefly skimmed over it, and it's pretty good. If it were a little more attention-grabbing, I would've read more, but it really didn't entertain my much, unfortunately. Of course, it is good, like I said, just not the best.

Sadly, I'm not on the website, nor am I planning on joining, but I'd give you a heart if I was. ^^

Thank you, and no I didn't know that I should not post concrit to assist someone else. There was nothing that I saw in the thread rules or guidelines that said to not try and assist another writer when a question was asked in general.

Please forgive me for diving in head first into the literary waters when the subject at hand is one that I am intimately familiar with (dog shows, breeding, handling, training, etc.). I was attempting to help. Again apologies.

lol, don't worry about it too much. it's kind of an informal rule, but it's easier to keep track of who's a member and who's not//keep track of who still needs to be accepted//etc. if they don't post. anyways, it's no big deal. =3=

Oh, it really wasn't that bad, seriously. I just am super picky about the stories I read. I've dissed a few of the utterly most popular, best-written book on earth. I betcha people will heart it, because you really did do a good job, but for me, well, I've seen you write better, and like I mentioned, I am picky. LOL
