Hi. I've been sort of lurking around this tread of a while now and not really posting. I know, I'm strange. Anyways, with school starting, I'm needing to make some choices about my writing. Right now, I have two book going but I've decided that during the school year I need to switch down to one. I need someone's help choosing which book to continue. The two are called "Only Thoughts" and "Behind My Eyes" and their links are in my signature. I know each story has its strength and weaknesses and I really can't decide which one to cut so I need some help. Please help me, pretty pretty please. Thank you in advance for the help.

I've seen this thread a few times and pondered posting...so here I am with an idea, and I'd like a yes/no and a few ideas for plot (because I usually can't create very good plots)
I was thinking of some kind of fantasy story about some robotic/semi-robotic canine or feline that was being transported in a plane to another area, but the plane crashed in the middle of some kind of terrain (undecided as of yet...either desert, jungle or arctic) the animal wakes up and quickly runs into the fully natural species it once was/based off. Naturally it feels compelled to join them, but is met with hostility (it's a 'freak', stinks of human and can't be trusted, all of that, plus it can't provide future generations, so it's useless. Even its hunting efficiency would be met with upturned noses) I want this thing to go on some kind of journey to either get itself accepted by the species it resembles or to go on some other quest type thing...I really have no idea, it's in the very early stages, so any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Also maybe this part machine thing uses its equipped weaponry/abilities without thinking, and so goes to painstaking lengths to try and be as normal as possible, even going so far as to mutilate itself and try to tear off the things that make the other animals scared of him...but then it comes back and bites him when humans start moving into the area, killing the animals he's living with and looking for him or something...so in the end he can't protect them because he has none of that special weaponry, he's become as 'normal' as the animals he wants to be accepted by.

If they die, well they die, if they live, another year is there's. But every 5 years, 1 person is picked to work for their whole life up there. But the government added a knew thing. Every year, 16 members of the high and low city are chosen to get kicked into a habitat and survive on their own. They are not aloud to kill eachother.this is called the Sactric.

Sounds like the Hunger Games. I like the idea, but I doubt Id ever read it, stories like that never interest me.

I really want a good one x one role play, but nobody seems to be literate enough... I only asked for at least five lines, I don't understand why that is so hard... I want to cry.

It sounds WAY too much like The Hunger Games. People reading it might think it's an imitation.

It does seem like Hunger games a lot. Even without the killing eachother thing. It needs more individuality.

And yeah, I struggle with 1x1 rp's simply because people stop replying and never actually tell me they want to stop.
