Chapter One...
Sometimes the eye see's more than you think...
Amy peeled back the pale pink duvet cover from her body. She sat up, siting on one of her pillows with her back on the wooden headboard. She took her inhaler which she had to take. After a few minutes she sighed, it was the first day at her new school. That school wasn't just any old school though, it was a school for people with musical talents. Hence, only people with real talent went there, real talent as in gifted. She was gifted at music, and she thought the other students where as well. She eventually got out of her bed, hating the cold feeling she got when she was out of the cover. She went down the wooden stair case then she went to get something to eat.
After eating, she went and got dressed in some clothes. She wore a pair of dark blue new looking jeans, and a cream rose print top. That was one of the good things of going to this Talent School, there was no school uniform. All she had to carry around with her was her bag and her music. That was it. Her talent was piano playing and singing. She could even do them at the same time! She didn't know what to expect at the school, or if she would make any friends. All she knew that she had the standard to be there, as she had been one of the lucky twenty people who passed the gruelling process of trying to get a place at the school.
Lots of people always try and get in the school every year, so they access every person individually and one by one. They assess you on your talent and your musical skills, as that is what the school was about. It was one of the reasons the process took about nine months to do. They only want the best they can get, so they look at every wanna be student every way they can. They had picked Amy and nineteen others to have places at the school, but every year they like to put more through, and tell them last minute. So usually, there was round about thirty new students a year. Though every year was different.
Amy was just about to leave when she realised she had forgotten something. She ran back up the stairs, and looked for her little bag which had something in it that had saved her life numerous of times. That thing in the bag was her inhaler. She found it, then put it in her main bag and went back down the stairs. After going back down the stairs, she left the house, and went to her car. She got in the car, and started to drive to her new school. She felt nervous, she didn't know what to expect from people who where like she was, gifted at music.
Amy drove to the school, she had to follow a few signs to get there. After about a half an hour drive, she arrived at the school. She turned off the main road, and to her surprise the road that followed wasn't really a road, to was a drive way. A long one. The drive way started of as normal road, then after a few minutes it turned into gravel. She followed it, then saw a sign saying 'Welcome To Stowe School, School For The Musically Gifted' "Wow." She said, as she saw the grand building of the school. The school looked really posh, and grand. She turned off into the schools' car park, then she parked the car. She cut the engine, then she just sat there in her car seat. She felt really nervous, really nervous because it was the first day and everything. She rummaged in her bag, for her inhaler. She found it and took it. She felt the need to take it because she felt bad and didn't want to take any chances. She put it back in her bag, then she got out of her car, and started to walk to the reception.
