Also please remember that I don’t know if the disorders that i mention are entirely accurate.

I hope you enjoy this book, because I worked really hard on it.

Superiority Complex. That was what that piece was called. Yup, that was the piece our music teacher, Mr. Goldsworthy, had chosen
for us. He was the younger grades music teacher. even though I’m in 7th, it was my first year on the alto saxophone. At my old school I played the flute, but this year, here, at the new school, my class has 14 flutes, and we only have 12 flutes, so i offered to switch and learn something else. This way, we have 12 people(mostly girls), on flute, and now 5 altos. We only have 5, anyways, so it really works out.

“Hey, you’re getting pretty good at this, Tess!” encouraged my best friend, roommate and sister, Jessa said. Were identical twins, Tessa and Tessa Smith. Thats us, except that I’m two inches shorter than her. We both have brown hair so dark that its almost red, with chocolate brown eyes. Our aunt and uncle used to dress us in the same outfits, but then when we turned, like 5, Jess wanted to wear something of her won, so I went a long with it. She was also on her first year of tenor sax, because she was also on flute, so we decided to do it together.

“Ya, you too,” I added. She really was, too. She hit almost every note that she plays. She has amazing alliteration, and her lungs are like, HUGE!!!!!! But I guess that we already knew that, cuz of how loud and long she can yell.
“Alright kids! Thats enough for tonight,” Mr. Goldsworthy yelled for us to stop. We had been here since 3:30, right after school for extra help, and for the grade six’s band. AS we got up to pack up, I drifted into my own little world, thinking about how we were going to redecorate our room, Jess and I.

Right now, our room was pretty much all eggshell. Which by the way, we hate. My favourite colours are bright green and dark purple, and Jessa’s are deep purple and lighty-brighty blue. So we decided to go online, and, with the credit card our aunt sent us, go shopping and find stuff that we like. We’ve decided that we were using those colours for our scheme.

We just moved here, to Northern Brooke Privet School, in Northern Brooke, Canada, because our Aunt Robin got pregnant with sextuplets, so there wasn’t exactly room for us, and we’d wanted to go to school abroad, and they had the money for it, sowe applied, adn got in. We used to live with Aunt Robin and her husband, our Uncle Ted, since they were the legal guardians on our parents will.

Our parents died in a car crash, 7 years ago,y and we were in the back seat of the car. Ever since then, we’d both had some mental problems.
My mind wandered to that night. We had been driving to our aunt and uncle’s wedding, 7 years ago. It was Aunt Robin’s and Uncle Ted’s wedding. Robin was our moms sister, and Ted was our dads brother. They all fell in love, because they were the best man and maid of honor at Lilli and Alex’s, mom and dad, wedding. I have an emotional disorder, where I take everything too seriously and I get upset really easily and unless I’m on my meds, I can lash out suddenly, and even when I’m on my meds, I still do it sometimes. Jess has an anger disorder. She has meds too. We need meds for a reason We have problems, for the same reason.


We watched our parents die.
