Yomo pounced on him.
"I can't take the openness of this room!" he snugged into him.
"Will you stay with me?"
Dereth did his best to not fall over even if it meant standing awkwardly since Yomo had pounced him.
"You're kidding right?"
Yomo looked at him like a scared kid.
"No.." he replied weakly.
Dereth sighed.
"Fine just get off of me. You try anything and I'll remove your limbs."
"That's ok, I regenerate!" he got off him and happily replied.
"Thank you!" as he dragged him towards the bed.
"Hang on if I'm doing this, it's on my own terms." He let his magic fail but stopped himself from yelling in pain as he turned into a wolf. He jumped onto the bed and laid down.
Yomo flopped down next to him and smiled.
"Thank you," as he started to drift.
Forest was fast asleep when her dream changed to the time when she was locked up in a dungeon with her family. They were taken right out of their own beds and dragged to an unknown spot when Forest was still only a hatchling. The man was scary looking, his eyes were as black as night, his hair was long and mangy looking and his face looked like death itself. He reached a hand up to Forest who whimpered in fright which triggered her parents instinct to defend and they snarled a warning to the man which only made him smile. He walked over to Forest's father and cut the chains off and watched as her broken and injured father fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. Forest and her mother tried to call out to him but their mouths were gaged with a fluid that prevented them from blowing fire to get it off. Forest watched as the man lifted up her father and placed him in a cage that hung over a boiling pot of something, it smelt nasty to her and was too powerful for her nose that it burned it just breathing in the smell. The man lowered her father down into the pot and cut the rope, all she heard was a splash then an agonizing scream as her father was burned alive. Forest's mother was next to go, she too faced the same fate and for the first time in her life, Forest watched her parents get slaughtered right infront of her eyes. For a three year old, it scared her horribly, after the screaming stopped, the man walked up to her and said.
"Now, time for you to face the same fate my dear," he laughed evily and Forest struggled to break free but she couldn't. Then blackout and Forest woke up screaming "MOM! DAD!" tears coated her cheeks as she burried her face in her arms.
Yomo hopped up and ran to Forests room.
"Are you ok?" he shouted as he jumped next to her on the bed.
Forest burried her face deeper in her arms and shook her head, the tears were still streaming down her cheeks.
Yomo hugged her into him.
"It's ok.."
Dereth was right behind Yomo when he heard Forest scream switching back to a human form, running to her other side.
Forest let him hold her as she said.
"No it won't be ok, it never will be ok. I don't want to go back to bed, I'm affraid it will come back, I don't want it to ever come back again."
"I'm here now," Yomo said as he turned demon again.
"I wont leave you.."
Forest remained in her possition and she said to any one of them.
"Please just stay here, if I'm alone it only becomes worse." Her voice was weak and cracked from crying.
Yomo wrapped his wings around her and pulled her closer to him.
"I'll always be here for you..." he whispered to her sweetly.
Once Forest had said that he got up to wait outside the room knowing she was speaking to Yomo and since Yomo now had permission to say in the room for the night, Dereth could use his own again.
Forest looked at him with tear coated cheeks and red eyes and she said.
"That's what they said before it happened to them and now look at them, they're dead." Tears threatened to come back.
Yomo clenched her into him.
"But I can't die, so I will always be here." he kissed her forehead.
"I won't ever let go of you," he whispered like a sweet purr in her ear.
Forest hugged him and burried her face in his chest and she said.
"I hope so."
Yomo pulled her onto him so they were laying down together. He tried to make sure she was cozy on his skinny body. He seemed to have grown again as he kissed her forehead sweetly.
"I love you," he purred to her as he held her.
Forest smiled at him and kissed him back.
Dereth removed his armor in his own room and walked over to where he had sat before grabbing his journal to finish writing in it.
He purred as she kissed him and got deeper into it. He wrapped his wings firmly around her.
Forest threw the same force into the kiss as he did. So this is love she thought. I like it.
He snuggled her. As he kissed her some more, he wondering where her line was.
Forest held him close to her, still carrying out the kiss with even more passion.
Yomo looked at her with deep love and a questioning gaze.
Forest looked him in the eyes with a smile and turned out the lights.
Dereth had fallen asleep in the chair, his journal and pen on the floor now he started to wake up when the light in his face overtook him.
Leviricus had settled in his bear form on his bed and wasn't wakiing up for anything.
Eos dug in some trash. This is disgusting she thought. She was very hungry. Her black nose twitched as she dug.
"Maybe I can just ask someone," she said in the dog language.
"I smell so bad" She let out a whimper before moving on to the next trash can.
Eos howled when she heard Forest scream. She hit her head on a sharp piece of glass. She whimpered in pain.
Eos looked at her paws blood was on one paw. The blood reminded her of the war. Shaking the dreading feeling away she wiped the blood on a cloth. She used the cloth to stem the blood coming out of her cut on her head. She whimpered.
"Another scar," she mumbled.
Eos yawned. Oh well she thought At least tomorrows a new day. Eos sniffed the air and started looking for a place to sleep.
Forest woke up to the bright light shinning through her window, when she stretched and looked over she finally realized what happened and she thought oh crap, what did I just do?!
Yomo stirred awake and looked at Forest.
"Good morning, love," he smiled.
Forest smiled and said,
"Morning." Oh please tell me I didn't do what I think I did last night.
Dereth gabbed his journal and pen and placed them on the table. He started to do some push ups then sit ups, eventually making his way over to a wall putting himself in a hand stand but sletting his feet touch the wall as he started to do push ups in that position. After that he cleaned himself up and got dressed.
Eos woke with a start.
"Ow ow ow," she mumbled. Her head hurt and burned. The grey dog walked out of trash can.
Carson wakes up and fixes her hair. She didn't really like sleeping in such a plush place, too soft and cushy for her liking; the streets, on the floor of Yomo's now half-destroyed house was much more likeable.
Yomo kissed Forest's cheek.
"How do you feel?" In pain, confused on what happenedshe thought but said instead.
"Tired, but glad the stupid dream didn't come back" she said, kissing him back. At least that was a plus she thought.
He put his arms around her and smiled.
"I love you." he said sweetly to her. ya, sure you do Yomo she thought but said.
Forest hugged him back and she said.
"I love you to, now, let's get up, I'm hungry."
Yomo purred as he got out of the bed with her.
"What do you want for breakfast?"
Forest stood up and she said.
"I'll get it" she started to head to the kitchen. Like I am ever going to let you cook my food, you don't even know how to use silverwear! Maybe when you learn how to hold your eating utensils right I might change my mind she thought to herself.
Yomo followed her.
"Maybe I can help?" he said gently. Ya, when you learn how to hold a fork and spoon right she thought back but said instead.
"Then this will be my chance to teach you how to use the right utensils." She smiled at him.
Eos clutched her belly. She must have eaten something bad a day or two ago. Eos whimpered as she shifted her paws. She rolled on her back and groaned.
"The pain," she whined.
Kara walked around. She stopped when she saw Eos.
"Aww, what a cute little puppy!"
Eos whimper. Puppy? she thought Yeah, that's right, I'm a great dane puppy!.... Not really . Eos backed away from Kara.
Kara leaned forward and patted Eos's head.
"Aww, you're so soft! Are you hungry? I have some food at my house," she said.
Eos barked.
"I'll get out of this dump for a whole day!" she thought.
"When are we going?" asked Eos, but realized Kara couldn't her.
Kara smiled and patted her head.
"Follow me!" she said, not realizing that the dog might not be able to understand her. She skipped to her cottage and opened the door.
Jonathan brushed back a lock of his hair that had drifted in front of his face. He strolled into the forest.
Eos ran after Kara. She skidded when they reached Kara's cottage.
Kara rummaged through her kitchen and took out two bowls. She went to the sink and filled one with water. She looked in her refrigerator and took out a few chunks of meat and put them in the other bowl. Then, she set them on the ground.
"Eat up!"
