Chapter 4: An unexpected nightmare and comfertor

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 1:45 pm

Yomo pounced on him.
"I can't take the openness of this room!" he snugged into him.
"Will you stay with me?"
Dereth did his best to not fall over even if it meant standing awkwardly since Yomo had pounced him.
"You're kidding right?"
Yomo looked at him like a scared kid.
"No.." he replied weakly.
Dereth sighed.
"Fine just get off of me. You try anything and I'll remove your limbs."
"That's ok, I regenerate!" he got off him and happily replied.
"Thank you!" as he dragged him towards the bed.
"Hang on if I'm doing this, it's on my own terms." He let his magic fail but stopped himself from yelling in pain as he turned into a wolf. He jumped onto the bed and laid down.
Yomo flopped down next to him and smiled.
"Thank you," as he started to drift.
Forest was fast asleep when her dream changed to the time when she was locked up in a dungeon with her family. They were taken right out of their own beds and dragged to an unknown spot when Forest was still only a hatchling. The man was scary looking, his eyes were as black as night, his hair was long and mangy looking and his face looked like death itself. He reached a hand up to Forest who whimpered in fright which triggered her parents instinct to defend and they snarled a warning to the man which only made him smile. He walked over to Forest's father and cut the chains off and watched as her broken and injured father fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. Forest and her mother tried to call out to him but their mouths were gaged with a fluid that prevented them from blowing fire to get it off. Forest watched as the man lifted up her father and placed him in a cage that hung over a boiling pot of something, it smelt nasty to her and was too powerful for her nose that it burned it just breathing in the smell. The man lowered her father down into the pot and cut the rope, all she heard was a splash then an agonizing scream as her father was burned alive. Forest's mother was next to go, she too faced the same fate and for the first time in her life, Forest watched her parents get slaughtered right infront of her eyes. For a three year old, it scared her horribly, after the screaming stopped, the man walked up to her and said.
"Now, time for you to face the same fate my dear," he laughed evily and Forest struggled to break free but she couldn't. Then blackout and Forest woke up screaming "MOM! DAD!" tears coated her cheeks as she burried her face in her arms.
Yomo hopped up and ran to Forests room.
"Are you ok?" he shouted as he jumped next to her on the bed.
Forest burried her face deeper in her arms and shook her head, the tears were still streaming down her cheeks.
Yomo hugged her into him.
"It's ok.."
Dereth was right behind Yomo when he heard Forest scream switching back to a human form, running to her other side.
Forest let him hold her as she said.
"No it won't be ok, it never will be ok. I don't want to go back to bed, I'm affraid it will come back, I don't want it to ever come back again."
"I'm here now," Yomo said as he turned demon again.
"I wont leave you.."
Forest remained in her possition and she said to any one of them.
"Please just stay here, if I'm alone it only becomes worse." Her voice was weak and cracked from crying.
Yomo wrapped his wings around her and pulled her closer to him.
"I'll always be here for you..." he whispered to her sweetly.
Once Forest had said that he got up to wait outside the room knowing she was speaking to Yomo and since Yomo now had permission to say in the room for the night, Dereth could use his own again.
Forest looked at him with tear coated cheeks and red eyes and she said.
"That's what they said before it happened to them and now look at them, they're dead." Tears threatened to come back.
Yomo clenched her into him.
"But I can't die, so I will always be here." he kissed her forehead.
"I won't ever let go of you," he whispered like a sweet purr in her ear.
Forest hugged him and burried her face in his chest and she said.
"I hope so."
Yomo pulled her onto him so they were laying down together. He tried to make sure she was cozy on his skinny body. He seemed to have grown again as he kissed her forehead sweetly.
"I love you," he purred to her as he held her.
Forest smiled at him and kissed him back.
Dereth removed his armor in his own room and walked over to where he had sat before grabbing his journal to finish writing in it.
He purred as she kissed him and got deeper into it. He wrapped his wings firmly around her.
Forest threw the same force into the kiss as he did. So this is love she thought. I like it.
He snuggled her. As he kissed her some more, he wondering where her line was.
Forest held him close to her, still carrying out the kiss with even more passion.
Yomo looked at her with deep love and a questioning gaze.
Forest looked him in the eyes with a smile and turned out the lights.
Dereth had fallen asleep in the chair, his journal and pen on the floor now he started to wake up when the light in his face overtook him.
Leviricus had settled in his bear form on his bed and wasn't wakiing up for anything.
Eos dug in some trash. This is disgusting she thought. She was very hungry. Her black nose twitched as she dug.
"Maybe I can just ask someone," she said in the dog language.
"I smell so bad" She let out a whimper before moving on to the next trash can.
Eos howled when she heard Forest scream. She hit her head on a sharp piece of glass. She whimpered in pain.
Eos looked at her paws blood was on one paw. The blood reminded her of the war. Shaking the dreading feeling away she wiped the blood on a cloth. She used the cloth to stem the blood coming out of her cut on her head. She whimpered.
"Another scar," she mumbled.
Eos yawned. Oh well she thought At least tomorrows a new day. Eos sniffed the air and started looking for a place to sleep.

Forest woke up to the bright light shinning through her window, when she stretched and looked over she finally realized what happened and she thought oh crap, what did I just do?!
Yomo stirred awake and looked at Forest.
"Good morning, love," he smiled.
Forest smiled and said,
"Morning." Oh please tell me I didn't do what I think I did last night.
Dereth gabbed his journal and pen and placed them on the table. He started to do some push ups then sit ups, eventually making his way over to a wall putting himself in a hand stand but sletting his feet touch the wall as he started to do push ups in that position. After that he cleaned himself up and got dressed.
Eos woke with a start.
"Ow ow ow," she mumbled. Her head hurt and burned. The grey dog walked out of trash can.
Carson wakes up and fixes her hair. She didn't really like sleeping in such a plush place, too soft and cushy for her liking; the streets, on the floor of Yomo's now half-destroyed house was much more likeable.
Yomo kissed Forest's cheek.
"How do you feel?" In pain, confused on what happenedshe thought but said instead.
"Tired, but glad the stupid dream didn't come back" she said, kissing him back. At least that was a plus she thought.
He put his arms around her and smiled.
"I love you." he said sweetly to her. ya, sure you do Yomo she thought but said.
Forest hugged him back and she said.
"I love you to, now, let's get up, I'm hungry."
Yomo purred as he got out of the bed with her.
"What do you want for breakfast?"
Forest stood up and she said.
"I'll get it" she started to head to the kitchen. Like I am ever going to let you cook my food, you don't even know how to use silverwear! Maybe when you learn how to hold your eating utensils right I might change my mind she thought to herself.
Yomo followed her.
"Maybe I can help?" he said gently. Ya, when you learn how to hold a fork and spoon right she thought back but said instead.
"Then this will be my chance to teach you how to use the right utensils." She smiled at him.
Eos clutched her belly. She must have eaten something bad a day or two ago. Eos whimpered as she shifted her paws. She rolled on her back and groaned.
"The pain," she whined.
Kara walked around. She stopped when she saw Eos.
"Aww, what a cute little puppy!"
Eos whimper. Puppy? she thought Yeah, that's right, I'm a great dane puppy!.... Not really . Eos backed away from Kara.
Kara leaned forward and patted Eos's head.
"Aww, you're so soft! Are you hungry? I have some food at my house," she said.
Eos barked.
"I'll get out of this dump for a whole day!" she thought.
"When are we going?" asked Eos, but realized Kara couldn't her.
Kara smiled and patted her head.
"Follow me!" she said, not realizing that the dog might not be able to understand her. She skipped to her cottage and opened the door.
Jonathan brushed back a lock of his hair that had drifted in front of his face. He strolled into the forest.
Eos ran after Kara. She skidded when they reached Kara's cottage.
Kara rummaged through her kitchen and took out two bowls. She went to the sink and filled one with water. She looked in her refrigerator and took out a few chunks of meat and put them in the other bowl. Then, she set them on the ground.
"Eat up!"

Chapter 5: The thief

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 3:07 pm

Geren made his way down the street, his small dragon on his shoulder where she normally was every now and then he would bump into someone who looked like they were wearing expensive clothes. Half the times he'd end up with whatever was in their pocket as during the bump his hand would slip in and get back out before they noticed. He soon saw the castle and a smirk came to his face.
"You hungry?" He asked his draconic companion who just looked at him.
Forest was in the kitchen preparing her food for breakfeast.
Geren made his way over to the kitchen window seeing Forest he crouched down out of sight trying to figure things out.
Carson slips out of the room she had been lent. She heads toward the front doors, planning to go back to the fence.
Eos laped up some water. She felt very strange doing this. Eos looked up at Kara before eating a little meat.
Kara smiled and sat down her couch. She grabbed the remote and turned down the TV while reading a book.
Eos quickly ate the meat, almost choking. She looked around and started walking toward the T.V. I haven't seen one of these things for agesshe thought.
Geren looked into the window just slightly to look at Forest then ducked back down again, he then nodded to his dragon.
"Your turn girl." He let her crawl up the wall and to the window entering the kitchen. It ran over towards Forest and darted quickly in front of her then started to run off out of the kitchen.
Forest watched it go and she said.
"Hey! How did you get in here?!" she went after it.
The dragon kept running just trying to keep Forest busy. As soon as Forest has gone after his dragon Geren climbed into the kitchen pulling out a bag as he casually walked around filling the bag with food, meat, fruit, anything he saw that looked good to him.
Forest stopped when she picked up the scent of an intruder, she growled which vibrated the entire floor and headed back.
Geren felt the vibration and whistled for his dragon to get out then ran for the window as quick as he could trying to escape.
Forest seen him and leaped on him, taking them both out of the window before pinning him down in her wolf form, snarling just inches from his face. Her pure white teeth shinning in the sun light.
Geren was a bit paniced, he wasn't used to getting caught and he couldn't reach any of his weapons to defend himself. His fearful expression soon became a cunning smile as his dragon caught up with him and leaped at Forest's face trying to distract her.
Forest angered now blew fire at both of them before she raked her claws across his face and bitting down on his legs hard enough to rendure them useless for a while.
Geren yelled in pain, unable to really defend himself. I Had to pick the castle that had a firebreathing wolf thing. Just my luck. He saw his dragon fall to the ground beside him badly burnt. Geren clenched his teeth from the pain in his legs and his face trying to move one of his hands to his pocket.
Forest seen what was happening and using her paw slapped it away as she growled.
"What do you think you are doing comeing into my caslte and taking things!"
"Honestly? Trying to survive, clearly I'm losing my touch though," Geren replied.
Forest snarled and snapped her jaws close to his face and she said.
"All you had to do was kindly ask and I would have gladly given you something to eat."
"Where's the challenge in that?" Geren asked he knew he was gambling his life but he wasn't one to say sorry for anything, or ask for anything.
Forest snarled and bit him again and said.
"It would save you a whole lot of pain" she sunk her teeth into his leg and began dragging him inside along with his little dragon.
Geren let out another yell of pain, his body reacted by letting him fall unconcious fromthe blood loss and pain.
Forest threw him in a cell in the dungeon, she knew she couldn't leave him there untreated so she cleaned his wounds and his dragons wounds and healed them before locking them in, making sure that they couldn't get out as she sat infront of the cell.
Dereth made his way down, havign heard the second yell he walked over to Forest and looked at Geren.
"I'm hoping we don't have another stalker on our hands. Do we?"
Forest looked up at him and said.
"No, just a thief," she took the bag and dragged it back up to the kitchen.
Dereth nodded and looked at Geren again.
"Guess he learned why he should avoid stealing."
Carson opens the large front doors and walks out of the castle.
Forest placed the stollen food away before she came back down and she said.
"Dereth, make sure you let me know if he wakes up."
Geren grumbled as he started to sit up.
"I think he can let you know now. I generally don't stay out for long."
Forest looked back at him, she changed back into a human and she said.
"You're lucky I didn't kill you punk, that was a stupid move on your part, I could have left you in there to die of your guys's wounds but be glad I didn't."
He looked at his dragon who hadn't woken up yet.
"Thanks for saving her." He didn't really care about what happened too himself after all he loved the risk even if it would cost him his life eventually but she only got hurt trying to help him.
Forest snorted and said.
"Think nothing of it, next time, think before you bring a friend into something that will get them hurt."
"Hey I try to keep her out of the fights but she hates being left out," Geren repled a slight smile on his face as he thought about her.
Forest just rolled her eyes and said.
"I hope this tought you something, you try to steal from this castle and it will be much worse than what you guys have went through, I've been known to roast a million people alive without a single ounce of hesitation."
"Noted," Geren replied but then joked.
"Bring some fire proof gear next time."
Forest growled, unpleased by his remarc, even if it was a joke and she said.
"Watch it boy, you pushed my buttons far enough today, don't push them any more."
Geren just smirked no looking at Forest, he didn't bother to say anything else he figured he had pushed her far enough and if he did push her anymore he'd just end up dead. He figured he'd be left alone here soon enough then he could break out and go on his way.
Forest looked at Dereth and said.
"Do what you please to him, just make sure he doesn't ever come back or I will deal with him myself" she walked off.
Dereth nodded and cracked his knuckles looking at Geren who glanced at Dereth out of the corner of his eye.
Forest plopped down at the table rubbing her temples, she hated to fight but when prevoked, she would fight to end it.
Dereth opened the cell and lifted Geren off the ground by the front of his shirt. Dereth glared right at Geren who didn't do anything at first he looked down at his feet. Dereth growled at Geren.
"If you ever come back around here, I will gut you with my sword. Is that understood?"
"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppppp," Geren replied though chances were when he got bored of everything he'd try again, not because he was stupid. Part of him loved the challenge and living right on the edge of death, he would die sooner or later anyways after all.
"You know I could leave you to rot down here," Dereth threatened.
"You're lucky you're getting out at all."
"No I'm not," Geren replied.
"You know that if you left me down here you'd get in trouble since when you wake up tomorrow everyone would have been robbed if I was left down here."
"Keep that up and you'll lose your hands," Dereth growled then tossed Geren down to the ground.
"Grab your dragon and lets go."
Geren picked his dragon up carefully, she was starting to wake up and looked up at him confused at what had happened. Dereth grabbed Geren's arm and started to pull him to the front door to throw him out.
Forest could hear everything that was going on and she growled slightly to herself at Geren's comment.
Dereth continued to escort Geren out of the castle intending to punch Geren a few times once they were outside, he wouldn't do it right now in case one of those who was staying at the castle saw him.
Carson was sitting outside near the front doors, stabbing a nearby bush with her dagger.
Forest watched them go and she snorted slightly and thought good riddence, if he ever comes back I'll kill him.
Dereth finally got Geren outside, Geren went to walk away with his usual smile on his face but Dereth grabbed him and pulled him back. Geren turned to face Dereth but as he did so Dereth nailed him in the face with a punch. Geren fell backwards from the impact and after a moment yelled.
"I THINK YOU BROKE MY NOSE! You jerk!"
Forest heard and chuckled, picturing his broken nose with great happiness.
Carson glances over.
"Dereth, why did you break his nose?" She askes, amused.
Geren got up his hand up to his face, checking if his nose was bleeding by using his wrist. While Geren was distracted by Dereth his dragon ran past Dereth's leg and back into the castle looking around. It wasn't trying to distract anyone now, it was hungry and it knew there was food somewhere in its mind Geren had failed to feed it so it had to feed itself having no intention of taking anything to him. It ran along the ground on all fours now and then stopping to stand on two legs and look around trying to figure out where it was.
Dereth looked at Carson.
"Because he tried to steal from the castle."
Forest seen the little dragon and threw her a piece of her breakfeast and said.
"Now scram."
Eos clawed and whimpered at the front door of Kara's cottage. She wanted to get out side.
Eos stared at the door in front of her. Boredom and annoyance was written on it.
"Fine door," she said.
"You leave me no choice" She turned in to a human and opened the door. Eos carefully closed the door behind her. She turned quickly in to a dog and ran off to the castle.
"There's bound to be something good to eat there!" she thought.
Eos heard Geren yell. The great dane quickly hid behind a bush.
"What was that?" she asked to no one.
