HIS UNKNOWINGLY BECOME LIFE LONG MATE FOREST

CHAPTER 1: The first meeting

Yomo walked down the streets of Nar, humming his theme song and cursing the rain for not falling. Forest went into town to get away from the castle and all of her responsibilities, after all, a Queen needs some freedom. Yomo looked up from his undoings and saw a beauty unlike anyother in his entire life. His heart skipped a beat as Forest walked by; he knew that right then and there his heart and mind was set, he would be the king no matter what. Yomo walked up to Forest and said in a calm tone, "hello."
Forest jumped startled by the sudden sound of his voice, but when she seen Yomo, she said "Oh hello".
"My name is Yomo," he spoke soft and meekly, "it's nice to meet you..." he trailed off and looked at his feet. What was he doing? He was just a scruffy street kid; no more, no less. Forest smiled and said sweetly "My names Forest, nice to meet you Yomo".
Yomo looked up, "You think it's nice to meet me, even if I'm a scruffy homeless guy?"
"Sure I do, it's nice to see all of my subjects" Forest said with a smile on her lipsand eyes shinning brightly; she pulled out a few coins and said
"Here, get yourself something nice".
"I... I dont want your money... I mean, thanks for offering but I... I..." he figited with his feet and said,
"I want to be your king."

Sabrina walked along the street, she was an orphan but Nicholas and Ralfie took her in, she was grateful to them, and since the Day Brothers were rich, she could get something nice to wear for once.
Forest's eyes popped open wide and she said shocked and totally caught off guard.
"What?!"
"Never mind, forget I said it!" Yomo said embarrased before he took off down the street at lightening speed. Forest watched him go still shocked at what had just happend and she thought did I hear him right?
Carson stood outside of a random building, unsure of why she had came here or even where she was, after having left her most recent home, she has just sort of found her way here. Her head snapped up when she heard someone running in her direction.
Leon looked kind of bored as he sat on the ground, he heard someone walking nearby and noticed a girl that he was to find out would be Sabrina.
Yomo turned down the street and almost ran into Sabrina, "Sorry," he yelled as he did a spinning remover to doge her.
Forest just shook her head and went about her buisness with her small shopping spree. Sabrina looked around for the mechanic shop and the cloths shop, she yelped as a boy almost ran into her, she stumbled and fell over anyways. Forest bought a few bags of fruit. Yomo hopped a fence and landed with a barrel roll on the other side. Carson relaxed a little when she realized it was only a child, some kid around 5 years old, she blew a strand of hair from her face and went back to dully standing agianst the building.
Leon watches the little inccident; vaugely wondering who the people were and what they were looking for.

Sabrina glared at the boy who didn't even stop to see if she was ok, sighing she stood up, her leg was bleeding from being scrapped against the road. Forest smelt the blood and, walking over; she seen the girl bleeding and she said
"Are you all right?"
Yomo stood up to his full height once on the other side of the fence, at 6 ft 5, he was a sight to see. Yomo climbed the fence and sat on it.
Sabrina nodded, 'Yes" she said, quietly.
Forest smiled and wrapped the wound up anyway before leaving.
Leon realizes the girl was bleeding and sees a second girl come over, he looks at the second girl for a few moments, realizing quickly that it was the Queen; he kept quiet about it, wondering why a queen would be out with 'commeners'.
Carson takes her dagger from her pocket, absently messing with it.
Forest looks at Leon and she said in her extremely kind and sweet voice,
"Have a nice day" she then smiled at them before turning around the block.
Yomo smiled an evil smirk and laughed.
"Wow! I must be crazy!" he said, mocking himself.
Forest bought a few more things before beginning to head back to the castle, her arms were loaded with bags and her blonde hair was up in a pony tail so that it swung from side to side when she walked, a smile on her face as the sun shone on her.
Yomo hopped off the fence and began to walk down the street whisteling and watching other people walk by. Forest stoped when she seen Yomo and she said.
"Hey! Arn't you that guy who asked to be the King?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," Yomo lied smoothly.

Carson messes with the dagger for a little while before putting it back in her pocket; she pushes herself from the wall and walks up the street.
Forest cocked her head and looked at him with a confused look and she just shook her head in bemusement and said.
"No matter, forget it," she turned away and soon arrived at the castle.
Like a shadow in the night, Yomo followed Forest without making any noise.
Forest soon stopped and looked around with a confused look on her face, she had the feeling that someone was following her but she couldn't see anyone so she brushed it off as her imagination and continued on into the castle.

Carson spots Yomo following Forest and shakes her head in disbelief, she takes off after him, mirroring Yomo's own silence.
When Forest was in the castle, seeing as how there was no maids yet; she began to make her own dinner.
Yomo, with great agility, climbed up the castle wall like a fox, he was unaware of Carson at the moment, he just wanted to get to the window that had light comming out of it and watch Forest.
Carson shakes her head and scales the wall after Yomo, she was being careful as to not be seen.
When her dinner was simmering in the hot water on the stove, Forest opened the windows to let some air in the kitchen and to allow the smoke and steam to escape so it wouldn't get too hot in there.
Yomo pressed against the wall, scooching along it's stones like a burgler, he was taking care as not to be noticed by Forest, least she knows what he was up to; it was then that he saw Carson on the wall below. Quickly Yomo signed to her, what are you doing here?.
Forest went back to her cooking as the slight breeze blew in and she stirred the contents in the pot, always makign sure that it stayed at the perfect temperture as her mother had tought her.
Carson rolls her eyes and signs back; Keeping you out of trouble, what are you doing here?.
I'm here to claim my long awaiting Queen, for as I am her King, Yomo signed back as he sat on the ledge, careful not to be in the view of the window.
Carson gives him an annoyed look; So you're stalking the queen?! Are you trying to get put in prison?! She signes back, keeping herself out of view form the window aswell.
I'm not stalking her, I'm simply looking out for her. Yomo smirked, it was the type of grin only villains in horror movies could make. And besides, I'm not afaird of cells, I like torture.
You are SO stalking her! Carson signes back, shaking her head.
We need to leave now, if you get arrested I'm out of a job.
But I cannot leave my Queen! She is the only light in my withering world! I am her King! Yomo hastily signed back befor peering carefully into Forest's kitchen window to see if she was still there, which, to his joy, she was. Carson frowns and signs back, Can't this wait? You can come back later when you aren't standing outside her kitchen window being a creeper!
But I'm her creeper and no one elses! Yomo signed back; he paused, I meant I'm her King!.
Carson sticks her tounge out at him, So you admit you are a creeper. She signs back. Lets just get out of here before something happens. Yomo, not willing to go, peered back into the window.

CHAPTER 2: THE CATCH

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 4:10 am

Forest soon turned around to get some salt for her meal when she seen Yomo peering into her window and screamed at the top of her lungs.
"It's you! You're that creepy guy!" Forest quickly grabs a butcher knife and shouts
"GET OUT OF HERE!"
Yomo quickly jumped from the window and fell to the ground, landing on his feet like a cat; he made a mad dash for the fence.
Dereth looked around questioning where he was, it wasn't the first time he had woken up in a place he didn't know or understand, he yawned as he got up, at least he was still human that was a plus. Dereth checked his belongings. Armor? Check. Sword? Check. Money? Check. Four limbs? Check. Stunning good looks and a winning personality? Check. He started to walk around trying to find something interesting to do or see, though he got the feeling he'd have no luck.

Doing a spinning remover, Yomo barely got of Dereths way, "Sorry!" he shouted as he hopped a fence.
Forest ran to the window and slammed it shut despite how hot it was in the kitchen, she wanted to take no chances with it open, she didn't know if Yomo had left for good or if he was just hidden in the woods waiting for a different moment to spy on her, she then took a few deep breaths before turning back to dinner and finishing it up.
Dereth watched Yomo hop the fence, confusion crossed his face. He shook his head, and then muttered to himself,
"Random guy running generally means girl troubles or he's being chased by an angry mob. I hope it's an angry mob I'd love to fight an angry mob right now."
Once on the other side of the fence and near his home, a run me down building, Yomo hopped onto the top of the fence and sat there. Yomo hummed his theme once more to himself, thinking about the incident. Yomo looked around, he was now calm as if nothing happened.
Carson shakes her head and takes off after Yomo, she runs a quick hand through her hair after she was off royal grounds and said to him.
"You are such a creeper Yomo. I told you we should have left, but no, you just had to go look right into the window!" She says now completely annoyed with him. She was looking up at him from where she was standing. Dereth waited for a bit longer,
"Alright so girl troubles, not angry mob. So now we're down to creepy stalker or just nervous guy." Dereth thought about the guy who ran by,
"Alright so it's creepy stalker more than likely."
Dereth sighed and started off on his own way when he stopped suddenly cripping his chest for a moment before letting out a painful yelp as his magic wore off so that his curse overtook him turning him into a large, thin, silver wolf. His yell turned into a howl at the last moment. Dereth looked at himself and sighed,
"Just great. Get my tail back when I have no clue where I am. Juuuusssstttt great."
Forest went back to eating her dinner while still looking around for if Yomo ever came back.
Yomo hopped off the fence, "How can I refuse the chains of passion that our Queen has undoubtedly wrapped around my soul?" he said to Carson.
Dereth sighed again and was deciding between going the way the guy had ran or going the direction he came from, he decided to head towards where Forest was, mostly because even this far away he could smell the food and he was hungry. He decided to try to make it over the fence. Barely making it, he figuring that staying off of the main streets and out of sight of others for as long as possible would be best for him in this state.
Carson shakes her head.
"Easy; Ignore the 'chains of passion' or get some royal appointment to meet with her." She shrugs.
"Where can I get the money to meet with her? Or are you forgetting that I'm flat broke?" he rubbed his head,
"Maybe I'll just climb into her room tonight..."
Dereth sat outside, generally he'd just head to the door and knock but his current state made knocking a bit hard, he thought about yelling but considering the creepy guy who had ran by, that would probably end badly. Dereth could smell the scent of dragon and werewolf from behind the door of the castle and he thought that that would give him an advantage. He let out a loud clear howl, hoping it would get the attention of whoever was inside.
Forest heard the howl, and stopping, she went to the door to investigate what made the howling. Openeing the door up slowly, she seen Dereth and opened it up even more and she said surprised but realieved that it wasn't Yomo.
"Oh hello, want to come in?" she said in her best hostest way.
"Well it would be nice," Dereth replied, "if you don't mind me intruding."
Forest shook her head and said kindley.
"Oh, it's no trouble at all, come in, come in," She stepped aside to let him in.

Carson hooks her thumbs in the pockets of her jeans.
"Yomo, don't go into her bedroom! Thats just beyond creepy, even for you!" she half yells.
Dereth entered bowing his head as he passed before looking at Forest again and said.
"Thank you very much. I'm going to guess you're the one the guy who passed me earlier was running from?" Forest nodded and said.
"I think he's stalking me for some reason," she closed the door and locked it.
"Hmm," he was deep in thought, "I know, I'll just go over to her castle and apologizes for sitting outside her window!" Yomo said as he started to walk in the direction of the castle.
Dereth laughed a bit and said.
"He did seem like a creepy stalker, or a guy being chased by an angry mob. I was hoping for the angry mob, they're less creepy than stalkers. Sorry I seem to have forgotten my manners for a moment, I am Dereth Rikaru Sveargith."
Forest smiled with a little laugh and she said back with just as much formality in her voice.
"I'm Forest Ostrander, Queen of these lands, want some dinner? It's still hot." Forest pulled away a chair and prepared a plate for him.
Carson shrugs and follows Yomo, she really didn't like being his only 'body-gaurd', but atleast the job was never dull.
"I'd love some," Dereth replied following.
"Sort of stuck in this form until I get some of my energy back." Forest shrugged and said.
"So? You can still sit upright yes? Then you can sit in a chair."
"Well, stuck on all four," Dereth replied, "But I learned how to deal with that." He told the turth having no issue getting into a chair and sitting down looking proper despite being on all four, "only thing I haven't figured out is using utensils like this but that's not for lacking than it is of trying."
Yomo walked up to the castle door and knocked on it, Forest heard the knock and picking up her butcher knife just in case she needed it, she went over to the door, unlocked the many bolts and slowly peeked out.
"Hey!" Yomo said all cheerefully. Forest let out a blood curddeling scream and slammed the door shut and she shouted through it.
"STAY AWAY DEMON!"
Carson waits some-what off to the side, glancing around the castle grounds. When the door opened she stops her scanning and looks at Yomo then Forest. She then gave Yomo a 'told-you-so' look.
Dereth heard the yell and quickly ran over to Forest's side and said.
"Let me guess, stalker boy?"
"How do you?-Wait! I'm a vampire! Not a demon!" Yomo yelled threw the door, he looked at Carson then said.
"We just got started on the wrong foot! That's all!"

Forest looked at him with a frightened look and said.
"He is stalking me!" Dereth nodded and said.
"Open the door, I'll give him a lesson in why that's a mistake." Forest unlocked it and let him out, remaining as far away from the door as possible. Yomo looked Dereth, "Who are you?" but Dereth ignored his question and as soon as the door opened, he snarled and charged out locking his eyes on Yomo. Dereth quickly went to pounce on Yomo. He was constantly snarled and snapped. though he never tried to actually hurt Yomo, just scare him off. Carson rolls her eyes.
"Thats what you get for stalking her." She said before she looks at Dereth and takes her dagger from her pocket.
"Well, seems like Miss Queen has a gaurd dog."
Yomo, reacting on instinct, jumped onto Dereth's back and did a barrel roll over him.
Forest screamed again and held up her butcher knife.
Dereth turned growling still intending to chase both Yomo and Carson away.
"You'll want to be running now,"Dereth said menacingly.
Carson just watches, wondering why she was even gaurding Yomo if he could fight for himself, she soon snaps out of it and glares at Dereth and says.
"If you think I'm running you are wrong. Yomo just came to apologize." There was a hint of venom in her voice.
"Oh crap," Yomo jumped away form Forest, he turned to Dereth and using his inhuman strength, punched the ground, giving the appearance of a meteor strike.
"DON'T DESTROY MY HOME!" Forest shouted, weilding her butcher knife at him.
"He's still a creepy stalker," Dereth pointed out, "I generally don't like creepy stalkers. They're creepy and stalkerish and they see open windows as a means of 'hello, come and look in'. That's just wrong, open windows should never mean 'hello, come and look in' to a creepy stalker." Dereth jumped back quickly.
"I'm sure that strength gets you the best prize at the faire during the strong man contest! But those generally don't result in dates!" Dereth shouted at him. Forest was breathing heavily and said through her panting.
"You think?"
"Yikes! I'm sorry!" Yomo darted up the stairs, out the window, and booked it across the phone wires.
Forest watched him go still creeped out by it all.
"Because that wasn't creepy," Dereth watched Yomo. He looked at Carson and said.
"You're not gonna do the same as him are you?"
Carson puts her dagger away and rubs her temples.
"Nope, not running across phone wires." She glances at Forest.
"He really is sorry for being a creeper... Yomo just isn't good at not being creepy..." she said, hoping that Forest won't freak on her. Forest just shook her head and said.
"I see that."
Once safely on his fence, Yomo sighed and said.
"I'm such a loser.."
"I think he needs lessons on how to apporach a girl without creeping them out" Forest said.
Dereth replied.
"I'm going to go eat and if he tries anything that seems creepy or stalkerish I'm putting him in a headlock." Carson shrugs.
"I try and help but he doesn't listen." She glances at Dereth.
"Good-luck trying to put him in a head-lock," she said.
Forest laughed slightly at that.
"There is no try, there is only his head under my arm when I'm back on two legs," Dereth replied before returning inside to the meal he had abandoned.

Leviricus walked over to Yomo currently as a gryphon and said.
"Loser huh? Did you get your butt kicked in a fight?" Yomo sulked on his fence. Once more he was doomed to fail. But he couldn't give up. No, not on his only sunshine! He looked at the new guy and said still down.
"Sorta, but it was the enternal kind that results form love and creepiness."
"I can see where the creepiness comes into play just by you saying that," Leviricus replied.
"Have you thought about being less creepy? Actually I'm gonna take your sulking as a yes. So I'm hoping this is about a woman and not another guy right? Not judging here though."
Carson sighs.
"Well, I'm going to go find Yomo." She says, leaving the royal grounds and heading back to Yomo's fence.
"It's about the Queen. I wanna be her King," he landed next to Leviricus.
"What should I do? Get her wilted roses?"
"Wilted roses? Really?" Leviricus asked.
"Alright look, I usually don't do this but I'm going to help you out. Just do what I say and you'll have a shot okay?"
"Hm? But then won't she love me for you and not me?" Yomo looked at him with that confused puppy look. Carson walks up one of the streets, barely hearing Yomo and Leviricus talking in the distance, she uses her increased/super vampire speed to cover the last bit of the 'walk' to the fence.
Yomo jumped.
"My head hurts!" he clenched his head.
"No, because no matter what you do, you will never be as amazing as me," Leviricus replied, so full of himself.
"I can just help you get to a point where she'll talk to you without pulling out a restraining order, or a pointy object or having a big scary guy throw you in a dungeon. Right now in your position I have one thing you don't, women talk to me of their own free will without trying to kill me."
Carson arrives at the fence as Leviricus finishes his sentance. She stands at the base of the fence, glancing up at Yomo and back at Leviricus.
"Carson is a woman and she talks to me..." Yomo looked at both of them.
"The Queen already had a pointy object, big guy, and a slamming window on me..."
"Alright fine you can get women to talk to you," Leviricus replied.
"Doesn't mean you can get them to go on a date with you. However if you don't want my help then I'll just be on my way." Leviricus started to take a few steps away unfolding his wings as if he was going to fly off.
"Wait!" Yomo pounced on him.
"Help me!"
"And there's your first lesson," Leviricus replied.
"Don't forced yourself, make them want you." Leviricus smirked figuring that Yomo probably would realized that he just indirectly called him a woman.
Carson shakes her head.
"This is going to backfire on Yomo." She mutters, leaning back agisnt the fence.
Yomo, clueless to most things, said confused.
"What do you mean by force?" he was still holding onto him.
"As in don't keep bothering them when they make it clear they're not interested," Leviricus replied.
"You got to make yourself stand out without being creepy. You make them want you and they'll come to you. All you have to do is one really sweet, really nice thing and do it quickly. Take the breath right out of her by being so charming in fifteen seconds she won't have time to remember you doing anything creepy. Then as soon as it's done give a charming smile and walk away. She'll come to you after that."
"How does one do a charming smile?" Yomo said, he was looking at him wide eyed.
"Get off of me and I'll show you," Leviricus replied.
Yomo let go of him and said sheepishly.
"Sorry about that..." he looked at him.
Carson starts messing with her dagger, waiting for this little lesson to back-fire on Yomo. Leviricus switched to his human form.
"Don't worry about it. Now, the lesson in smiles. First, there's the charming smile, the most important part of it is not the smile itself but the eye contact and making your eyes seem soft and kind," Leviricus gave a very basic smile his eyes were soft, he showed no teeth and just looked right into Yomo's eyes.

Forest went back to her dinner after everyone left, she was beginning to have a headache from everything that was going on. Dereth had already returned to his, mostly because if the stalker guy was going to show up again he wanted to be able to head lock him and to do that, he needed enough strength to be human again.
Forest slowly ate her's but when she finished she stretched and said/
"I have to admit, I out did myself this time"

Yomo tried to smile the same way, but his smile had a natural curve to it that made it either slysh or catish. Not to mention his eyes had a hint of warm coldness to them.
Carson takes off her necklace and wraps it around the hift of her dagger.
"I've only just met you and I must agree," Dereth replied.
Leviricus watched.
"Alright, maybe charming isn't yours. Let's try to form that one into the cute one, just tilt your head a bit to the right, give a quick ear to ear smile, no teeth, close your eyes, only make it last one second."
Forest beamed and she said happily.
"You're such a gentlemen."
"What's the point of being a man without being gentle?" Dereth asked in response, "Unless of course pushed." Forest laughed and she said.
"So true."
She picked up the plates and took them to the sink where she began to wash them in hot, soapy water.
Yomo tried this. With his eyes closed and head tilted, he vaguely ressembled a wilting, depressed rose trying to hide its agony, even though it was only a second, it spelled sorrowful death with a smile.
Dereth followed and said.
"I'd generally offer to help but my lack of thumbs right now is holding me back. Should I be around when I'm back on two feet I'd be more than happy to aid with any of the chores around here."
"You know what?" Leviricus replied, "I'd teach you the cool smile but let's go back to the charming, and we'll just find a hook instead. Now then what sort of hook would work with you. We're going to need a kitten or a puppy."

CHAPTER 2: THE CATCH (Continuation)

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 8:30 am

Forest smiled at his offer and said.
"That would be nice, thank you."
"Kitten or puppy? What about a wolf or a bunny?" Yomo looked at him intently.
"And hooks? I like sharp pointy objects..." an evil grin graced his face, giving him an over powering appearance.
"Not the metal kind and never say you like sharp pointy object around women," Leviricus replied.
"A bunny could work maybe a wolf if she's into that but it'd have to be a pup. See we need something cute to distract her from well... you. No offense. Make her see your soft, caring side. Believe me the rest of the flaws won't matter they'll see you to be sweet and caring to something cute and they'll see the rest as a project, something they want to fix and that attracts them."

Dereth smiled.
"If you don't mind me asking, why is the boy stalking you and how long has he been doing it?" He asked.
"I think it started when I ran into him in town today" Forest said thinking back.
"As to why he is stalking me, he said he wanted to be my King when we last met" the memory made her shudder some.
"I thought we were going to hook the animals..." he figited with his feet and fingures.
"I'm not really good with cute things..." he blushed a bit, giving an awkward smile that appeared more like a meek school boys grin than anything awkward.
Dereth thought about that for a moment.
"So he said that without really knowing you? I'd almost say he was just after the title and is really, really, really bad at it" He said.
"Maybe, I'm not sure" Forest said as she finished up with the dishes.
"Let me guess," Leviricus just looked blankly at him.
"Kittens claw you when you get close, puppies bite you and bunnies hop away?"
"So if you're the Queen," Dereth started, "where are the guards to keep creepy stalkers like him away?"
"Don't have any yet" she stated in a matter of fact tone.
"Might I ask why?" Dereth asked, "I mean don't get me wrong you look like someone who would be able to handle yourself in a fight but wouldn't that be fairly high on the 'need to get' list as a Queen?"

"More like they cry and run away in horror when I do so much as look at them....." he paused to think.
"Maybe it's because I have an aurora that exerts the pressure of dementional horrors...?" he gave a spaced look that made him look like a lost kitten.
Forest chuckled and said.
"I'm waiting for those who have what it takes to guard me."
"Well I can understand why that would be hard to find," Dereth replied.
"Okay," Leviricus thought.
"Well she needs to see you with something cute that'll get her attention, while you take fifteen seconds to sweep her off her feet. Not in the literal sense of picking her up without permission, I mean saying something so sweet and deeply moving while giving her a rose that's not wilting and maybe a box of chocolate. So first we'll handle the cute thing, luckily that's something I can do."

Forest nodded and said.
"You got it, unless you are willing? I'll pay you if I have to."
"Well if I get good food like the meal I just had, a place to rest and maybe some spending money," Dereth replied.
"I wouldn't see any reason to turn you down if you'd like me to become a guard."
"You got yourseld a deal" Forest said with a wide smile, glad that she has someone to guard her now from Yomo.

"What do you mean? Do I need a cute thing? Or something else...." he looked at him with the confused poochie look, half wondering if there was hidden meaning behind his words.
"Alright here's how it works," Leviricus explained.
"Women take in a lot of things at once. They see you with something that's adorable like a puppy and they see you as possibly caring and kind man. That is important. What's most important is making them want to come to you rather than you always going to them, to get that reaction you only have a fifteen second window to do it. That means you have fifteen seconds to wow them. Generally a rose, card with a cheesy romantic poem, and box of chocolate work. You deliver the gift, you say something very suave. You bow. You pet the cute thing maybe smile at it a bit but with you I recommend skipping that step and you walk away. Do I need to demonstrate?"
"So I give her a poem or rose, then walk away?" He rubbed his head. Leviricus nodded.
"Don't even need the card with the poem if you're good, watch." Leviricus considered going off to find someone to hit on but figured Yomo wouldn't learn anything from it, there was only one way to do this. He grumbled a bit.
"I'm going to regret doing this later." Leviricus picked a near by flower offering to Yomo as he bowed.
"For you, though its beauty is no match for your own." He gave his charming smile.

Dereth gave a large wolfish grin, "Alright, I'll do my best."
Forest grinned and said.
"Great! Follow me, I will show you your room and you can start tomorrow" she walked away. Dereth followed happily looking around memorizing as much as he could so he would know his way around, he'd explore later and learn every hiding spot, every entrance, everything he could.

"Ah...." Yomo bunched up a bit, then broke out laughing.
"I'm sorry..." he managed as he gasped for air,
"Just no ones ever given me anything befor...." he toke the flower and put it behind Leviricus's ear.
"There, it's perfect for you, not me," he gave a sweet smile that made his face glow like the radiant moon.
When Forest showed him his room she said.
"Feel free to make yourself at home, you have full range of everything here" she then left him alone to be in peace for a while.
Leviricus took the flower out not amused.
"The question now is have you learned anything?"
Dereth walked into the room hopping up onto the bed to lay down for a bit just to relax. Wouldn't be long until he was human again. Forest cleaned up the kitchen some more before plopping down in her library reading her favorite book ever, White Fang.
"Uh..." he paused to think.
"Be nice, give a flower, and then run away, right?" he held up both his thumbs like a weirdo.
"Almost," Leviricus replied.
"Walk away not run. Gentlemen do not run. Plus you'll have more than just a flower. Remember the bow and a quick suave statement. Now then let's go get you a card to write sappy, cheesy poetry in."
"Is that poems like:
My heart is a withered ground
But you make it pure
My soul is a lost person
But you bind me to the shore
With out your love I will die
Forevermore
Is that it?" he looked at him hopefully.
"Sure we can go with emo sappy poem," Leviricus replied.
"Just gotta buy the bigger box of chocolate to go with it and hope my adorableness works."
"Are you saying I'm a total lost?" he looked at him with wide, sorrow filled eyes.
"No," Leivircus replied.
"As I said, women like a project. What I am saying is you'll never get your foot in the door like this and just come off as a creepy vampire stalker." Leviricus thought for a moment.
"You haven't watcher her sleep right? Because if you have then I'm walking away right now, that's too creepy even for me. I know that's getting popular with the vampire crowd but it's still creepy."
"I haven't watched her sleep. But I bet she is even more beautiful when she lays down and closes her eyes," he spaced a bit.
"Oh, who am I kidding? All I'll ever be to her is that creepy vampire dude who followed her home and listened to her cook food...." he hung his head in shame.
"All I'll ever be is a creeper..."
Leviricus tried to smack Yomo over the head, he wasn't trying to do it hard or anything just a quick smack.
"Last thing you need, confidence. If you don't believe in yourself, why would anyone else?"
Dereth got up feeling stronger he changed back into his human form and started to walk around, exploring the castle coming upon the library. He saw Forest in there. Figuring it would be better if he introduced his human self to her now instead of later, he walked in.
Forest picked up on his scent and she face him and she said sweetly.
"Hello."
"Hey," He smiled.
"Figured it might be a good idea for you to see what I would normally look like so we didn't end up having any awkward confusion later."
Forest smiled and said.
"Ah, so that's what you look like as a human."
"I don't think anyone wants to believe in me... Carson wants me to be weak so she can protect me... The queen is probably in a relationship with this Dereth guy... And look at me! I'm not even a real vampire...." he started to mutter things in another tongue to himself.
"Congrats, you've gone from creepy stalker to pathetic wanna be stalker in just five seconds," Leivircus replied sarcastically.
"You give up that easily and you won't make it anywhere. Look at me I'm not a real gryphon yet when I look like one I'm just as amazing as one. I'm not a real bear, but when I become one I'm just as fluffy and brutal as one."
Dereth nodded.
"Yep, and it's really good to be back on my own two legs and not have a tail."
"Yeah, but you're not a demon form h*** who was left by his parents and hated by all who saw him and just wanted a friend. And then you fall in love, you get completely screwed over because my kind can only ever love one person and you know that person hates demons. I love and yes I want her. But I want her to be happy. Do you really think she'd be happy with a stalker who lies and cheats and can't even face himself without seeing the one thing she hates the most?" he sighed.
"I don't want to give up, I... I.." Yomo started to cry.
"I just want her to be happy!" he slammed his head into his knees and presumed the beetle possision.
Leviricus looked at Yomo for a moment. He had to take pity on the guy. He sighed and switched into his gryphon form flying off to the castle. Once he landed at the front door he shifted back to his human self and knocked hoping for an answer.
Yomo sulked where he was, feeling alone again.
Forest heard the knocking, setting her book down, she slowly but coutiously went to the door and answered it.

Kara hummed as she skipped along the side of the road.
"Hmm," she said, pausing.
"What should I do today?" she said to herself, spinning around.
Yomo walked over to his fence and sat down on the side walk next to it. He knew he needed Forest, but how to make her happy with him?
Scarlett watched Kara as she skipped along the road. She slumped against the wall and muttered under her breath.
"Idiot. Who does she think she is? Spinning around in the streets! I wish a car would come by right now and run her over," she snarled.
Yomo looked up form his self undoings to watch the girl skip by.
Kara stopped suddenly, feeling she was being watched.
"Who's there?" she said into the alleys.
Scarlett held her breath.
"Crap," she whispered. She ducked behind a building, hoping Kara wouldn't notice her.
Kara shrugged, then proceeded to Forest's castle. She blushed as she walked by Yomo.
Yomo just blinked and watch both the girls go their own ways.
Scarlett wandered around the streets. She closed her eyes, and black wings sprouted out of her back. She smirked and formed a black ball of energy between her hands. It morphed into a dragonlike shape. She blasted it at an abandoned building, shattering a large hole in the middle.
Kara sighed. She kept her pace as she skipped toward the castle.

"What was that for?!" Yomo shouted in shock.
"I live in one of those buildings!"
Scarlett looked up, shocked.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry," she smirked. What kind of King is he if he lives in an abandoned building?
"I can fix it," she said. Turning around, she levitated the shattered pieces and tried to reform the hole in the building. The pieces fell to the ground.
"Crap," she hissed.
"It won't fix. There are lots of other abandoned buildings in town though," she shrugged.
"This day just goes form bad to worse!" Yomo hit his head on his fence.
"But you know what? I am the King!" he darted off.
"I know what I need to do!" he stole some roses form the town market and darted over some fences. He wrote 'I love you' on a piece of paper, warped it around the flowers and ran to Forest's castle.
"Hey! Wait up!" hollered Scarlett. She darted after him, soaring several feet above him.
"Why are you going to Forest's castle?! I thought you hated her!" Something then clicked in her head.
"O... You like her, don't you?" she smirked.
Kara glanced up, shocked to see Scarlett chasing after Yomo.
"Wha...?" she murmured.
Yomo jumped on to the castle wall, scaled it, jump into her bedroom window, left the roses on her desser, and darted back out the window into tha street below. He did a double spinning remover to avoid both Scarlette and Kara.
"Sorry!" he shouted as he ran.

Leviricus stood outside still as his human self, he looked at Forest.
"You must be the Queen I've been hearing so much about."
Forest looked at him a bit akward but said.
"That I am."
"It's about the creeper kid the vamp," Leviricus said.
"Please just hear me out. He's nowhere near here right now."
Forest looked around skeptically and said.
"What about him?"
"When I left him he was in tears," Leviricus replied bluntly.
"I have never met a guy so hard to deal with in terms of training him how to not come off as a creeper." Leviricus sighed.
"His heart is in the right place, at least from what he was saying, you know about how all he wants is for you to be happy, how beautiful you are, how he'd be no good for you anyways, how he's a demon and how you would never want to go out with a demon?"
Forest looked at him with wide eyes and she said.
"What?!"
"What?" Leviricus asked back.
"Just saying basically what he said, I paraphrased a bit but not much."
"Ok, so he's not just any creep stalker but a demonic one to? And he likes me?!" Forest said.
"He called himself a demon," Leviricus replied.
"I'd disagree with him being a demon, he's just a creepy emo vamp but he did say he's not even that much of a vamp. Yes he basically said that his kind only falls in love once in their life and he just happened to fall for you."
Forest was silent, then she said.
"Oh...great" but a slight smile came to her face that was so faint that no one would be able to see it.

"Look I'm just asking you to give him chance," Leviricus continued.
"One chance to not be a creepy stalker, I'll make sure he's on his best behaviour. I just can't stand to see another man cry."
Forest sighed and said finally giving in.
"Fine, I will give him a chance, but no creepy stalker got it?"
"You will?" Leviricus was a bit surprised but grinned.
"Great I'll bring him over later!"
"You do that" Forest said akwardly before backing up into the castle.

CHAPTER 3: THE DINNER DATE

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 8:36 am

Yomo sat on his fence, watching clouds drift by in the sky.
Leviricus gave a bow.
"Thank you." He turned into his gryphon form and flew back to Yomo. He landed beside him and then just stared at him.
"You. Owe. Me. BIG TIME!"
Forest shook her head and went up to her room to get ready when she spotted the flowers and the note. She opened up the window and shouted.
"YOMO YOU CREEPER!"
He looked at Leviricus.
"Wait... Did I make a deal with you?" Yomo thought about it... "So what do I owe?"
"She's agreed to meet with you tonight," Leviricus replied.
Dereth rushed up to Forest when he heard her yell his hand on his sword that was at his side.
"What happened?"
Forest held up the roses and showed him the note and said.
"Yomo happened."
Dereth looked at the flowers then at Forest.
"I'll try to make sure he doesn't get by me and into here again."
"You do that, the fact that he got in here without my knowing so is a little scary" Forest said taking out one of her good dresses and she said.
"Either way, he and this Leviricus guy are comming over, mostly on Leviricus's part with having me give him a chance, but that right there is totaly ruining it"
"I'll make sure to keep an eye on Yomo then," Dereth replied.
"I'll make sure he doesn't sneak off and hide anywhere or take anything."
Forest nodded and said."
Please do, now, I need to get ready, you should to"
Dereth nodded and left to get something a bit more suited for this job.

"Really?!" Yomo gasped.
"What should I do?" he looked left then right, "I left her flowers in her room..."
"Alright you got half of that right," Leviricus replied.
"You got her flowers. Now you don't go into a girl's room unless invited. Now then I will teach you as much as I feel like teaching you before tonight. Because there is no way you will master everything I know. So first we need money to get you a suit or at least something nicer than that."
"Why don't we just steal it like I did for the flowers?" he looked at him confused.
"After all, I have no money..."
"You stole them?" Leviricus replied.
"Alright unless you're the most handsome and charming thief in the world, no one is going to fall for a thief. I will make this nice and clear, you steal things and I will hit you over the head with a rolled up newspaper, you keep doing it and the newspaper will upgrade to harder and harder objects until there's a bounty on your head in which case I will turn you in and roll around in the money for fun then waste it all on picking up hot chicks. We're going to find a way to get money and get you a nice suit."
Yomo looked at him.
"But I've always stolen, lied and cheated to get by... How does one make money any other way?"
"By doing something called work," Leviricus replied.
"Find jobs around town where people will pay you. You know slaying a deadly monster, cleaning up the town, working in one of the stores, lifting heavy boxes."
"But normally I'm the monster that needs slaying, the boxed are filled with weapons for people who want to kill, none of the shop people like me, and what's worng with our streets? The debris from my home that got blown up gives it personality..." Yomo rubbed his head.
"I know! We could strike a deal with a widow to bring back her husband if she pays us! Now... Where to find one or make one...."
"No making widows," Leviricus replied.
"I have an idea. We're going to kill you."
"Ok," Yomo opened his shirt.
"Kill me."
"Not in the literal sense, first we find a guy who will pay tons of money to have you killed," Leviricus replied.
"Then we're going to fake your death."
"But I'm a regenerating immortal, if you kill me I'll heal and get back up," Yomo looked at him.
"So why not just kill me?"
"Alright, we'll kill you in front of a guy and get the money," Leviricus replied.
"Come on. let's find someone who wants to pay for your death. If this doesn't work we'll use plan B, we'll charge people to punch you in the face."

Dereth switched into his plate armor, polished to look nice, it was made for him alone, it would restrict some of his movement but not enough for him to not be able to use it. He switched his belt to one that would hold two swords.
Forest was in the kitchen already preparing the meal.
"Umm... I like plan A better than B...." Yomo rubbed his head.
"Let's see... The head of the black market wants me dead because I stole his son's soul after making a deal with him..."
Carson had just been pretty much waiting for them to come up with something. When she heard the plan she shakes her head.
"What is the point of my job if you can regenerate after being hurt?"
Yomo looked at Carson.
"You're leaving me?" he looked at her with puppy eyes.
"But aren't we friends?"
"Great where is he?" Leviricus asked.
"And your job clearly is because every King needs body guards, they don't want to get their hands dirty!" he said to Carson.
Dereth walked down to the kitchen, he was surprisingly quiet even in plated armor, mostly from learning tricks and modifying it.
"Need some help?" He asked.
Forest could picked up on his scent, so he didn't really startle her when he spoke. She turned around and looked at him and said.
"You look slightly uncomfertable in that but sure."
"Actually it's very comfortable," Dereth replied walking over to start helping though he did remove his gloves.
"Plate armor can be uncomfortable if it isn't made for the person specifically, where as this one was made for my specific body, I then modified it to be more useful, weakens some parts of it but it still looks good on me and protects me."
Forest chuckled and said.
"You can peel some potatoes if you want to."
"Sure thing," Dereth replied grabbing one of the potatoes, he would have gone for a peeler too but he had lived on his own and away from cities long enough that using just a sharp knife was faster for him. He didn't let the knife go deep, just enough to remove the skin.
Forest sat a pot of cold water near him to put the potatoes in after he was done while she went on to peeling carrots and cooking up some steak.
Dereth was going through the potatoes quickly and tossing them into the plot. He had a slight smile on his face as he did so.
Forest had the steak in the oven cooking and the carrots boiling in a pot of water as she went to the frige and took things out for a salad.
Dereth finished up with the potatoes.
"Is there anything else you need?"
"The table could be set up if you want to do that" she said, placing the needed ingrediants inside the bowl.
Forest finished with the salad and began to chop the potatoes up before setting them to boil.
Dereth soon returned.
"Table is set."
Forest smiled and said.
"Excellent, thanks" she took out the steak to see how it was comming, but the oven wasn't getting hot enough so she said.
"Hmm, time to roast it even more" she took a deep breath and blew a stream of fire in the oven before closing it up and said.
"There, don't really like to use fire much if I don't have to but it wasn't hot enough."
Dereth smiled.
"I'm guessing that's one of the up sides of being part dragon?"
Forest nodded and said.
"That and the fact I can bring out my wings when I please and fly, have you ever seen a dragon before?"
"Yes actually," Dereth nodded.
"Many and I really do mean many years ago I helped one. In return it gave me dragon blood which slowed my aging and gave me more strength and speed as well as a few other perks."

Carson shakes her head.
"I'm not ditching you. Attempting to kepp you out of trouble is way better then living on the streets alone." She gives Leviricus a look.
"Thats not a body-gaurd's job, that would be an assisian or hit man."
"He is at the black market, aka, drifts store of lost goods," Yomo looked at Leviricus with the most adorable sad face ever.
"But I like to get dirty..."
Leviricus nodded.
"Great!" He shifted into a gryphon again.
"Let's go."
"Ok, but I'll need to eat first so I can enter into my true form," he looked at him with a gleam of yellow in his eyes.
"Its the only way he'll recognize me." He grabbed a bunny form one of the farms.
"This will do...." the bunny was releasing screeches of fear.
"Now I understand why bunnies hate you," Leviricus replied.
Yomo smirked as he sucked the soul out of the bunny. He grew wings and another foot. Other feautures changed as well.
"I'm gonna go with creepy," Leviricus replied though he didn't seemed bothered by the change.
"Alright let's go make a deal."
Carson shudders.
"Oh gross."
Yomo just smiled and lead the way to the black market.
"What's gross?" he asked Carson, his voice was deeper than it was before.
Carson shakes her head.
"Everything."
Leviricus followed he still seemed unbothered by everything, he eventually switched back to his human form once he figured they were close.
"The fact that I'm a demon is gross?" he opened the door to let the other two threw the door first.
"It's not even my full form, I would need a human soul for that."
Carson walks inside.
"Not exactly, but the whole soul-sucking thing is."
"Let's avoid getting you human souls," Leviricus replied.
"We're already going to have a hard enough time convincing the Queen that you're not creepy."
"Eating souls is normal for me," he turned to Leviricus.
"And that is going to be the hardest part of getting her." he looked sideways at them.
"Because I am creepy."
Carson thinks for a moment.
"Well, from a girls position... Creepy is not good, being a soul-eating demon is worse."
"Well the goal is to make you seem less creepy," Leviricus replied.
"Or you'll have no chance."

CHAPTER 3: THE DINNER DATE(continued)

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:31 am

Carson nods, agreeing with Leviricus.
"Are you saying that because I'm a creepy soul-eating demon, I'm even worse than either of those two?" his gaze shifted to her the same way a wolf's does. He turned his gaze back to Leviricus.
"And how are we going to do that?"
Carson hesitates.
"Yeah, it does."
"By listening to me," Leviricus replied.
"Because unlike you, I'm not creepy. Also get used to eating the souls of cows and pigs."
"Why cows and pigs?" he asked.
"And I can't help but feel this will end badly..." he said as the leader of the black market walked up.
"You?!" he pointed at yomo.
"You must be the leader of the black market," Leviricus said ignoring Yomo's question.
"I'm here to make a deal with you. How much would you pay me, to kill this demon? See he decided to tick me off and currently can't run from me."
"I'll pay you well over 1 million if you kill that thing!" the man shouted.
Leviricus grinned.
"We have a deal then." Leviricus quickly pulled out a sword and rammed it into Yomo's chest aiming for the heart.
Yomo coughed up blood and fell over. His body withered to a broken mass of bones and ash. The man thanked Leviricus and said.
"This beast has killed my son, and to see him dead brings me great relief, here is your money as promised." He paid him and said.
"Now, get those bones out of here!"
Carson picks up the bone as the man requested and walks out of the black-market shop.
Leviricus took the money.
"Well I'm glad to have gotten revenge for you." He went to buy the suit intending to meet up with Carson and Yomo after.
Carson runs back to Yomo's fence, putting the bones back down.
The bones merged together and a weird creature emerged form them once they were clear of the shop. It hopped about and said.
"Been awhile since was in this form."
Leviricus returned with the suit. He looked at Yomo he facepalmed.
"Please tlel me you can go back to normal."
"Of course I can!" flame engulfed his body as he turned back to human.
"Better?"
Carson messes with her cross-necklace.
"Now, whats the next step in this plan to get Forest to fall in love with Yomo?"
"Much," Leviricus offered the suit to him.
"Change, then we'll deal with the hair. And remember manners tonight, not creepy demon manners human manners. You bow when you greet a Queen, you eat with a fork and knife and no eating souls! Also don't forget please and thank you and don't say anything creepy or depressing!"
"Ok," Yomo said.
"Now I feel like the leader of the mofia...." he tugged on the suit a bit.
"Do I look weird?"
Carson looks at Yomo.
"You acctualy look like a non-creepy person."
"I do?" he got a bit red.
"I never ate at a table befor... How do you do that?"
Leviricus sighed.
"I see we have a lot of work to do. You sit at the table a plate of food with be brought to you, you pick up fork in left hand you pick up knife in right hand. Fork holds down the food, knife cuts the food, knife does not cut other people! You then bring food to mouth with fork. Also remember to place a napkin on your lap. You use spoon for any food that is more liquid than solid. You make as little noise as possible when eating, you do not talk with food in your mouth, you can talk when there's no food in your mouth. You compliment the meal when you're done or even half way through, possibly on the first bite if it is very good."
"And if it is bad, I eat it without complaint, right?" he looked at him.
"Exactly!" Leviricus nodded.
"Now don't worry I'll be right beside you so just follow my lead if you're stuck," Leviricus replied.
"Also remember, no going up to her room unless invited, and gentlemen use doors, not windows."
Carson leans agianst the walls of the alley, wondering how long it would take before they went to visit Forest.
"But doors make me nervous!" Yomo looked at him.
"Normally doors get closed on my face and result in someone screaming with a knife in hand..."
Carson shakes her head.
"She won't slam the door in your face if you be poliet."
"But last time screamed right when she saw me..." he looked down at his feet.
"Well, Leviricus said she was allowing you to come over. If you don't act creepy when you get there it should be fine this time." Carson says.
Yomo looked at Carson.
"I hope your right." He looked at the sky.
"I hope I can be not creepy."
Yomo rubbed the back of his head.
Yomo wondered if forest would ever really like him. He had a feeling she would always see him as that creepy guy no one really wants to be around.
Yomo sighed and sat on his couch in his half-blown up building.
Yomo sat upright on his couche and toke two sticks.
"Right hand is fork, left is knife..." he muttered to himself.
"You don't cut people, but food with a fo-knife..." he sat the sticks down.
"I think that's it..." he paused.
"What is a fork used for again?"
Yomo rubbed his head.
"Spoons are for liquids... So forks are for solids?" he rubbed his forehead.
"Right, and always be nice..."

Forest smiled and said.
"That's nice of it, not many of us will give our blood to someone."
Forest took out the meat and chopped it up, placing both carrots and potatoes in with the meat she mixed it up, added a few things of lettuce and spices and mixed them in as well.
Dereth's mouth watered a bit at the smell of the food.
Forest smiled and said.
"Want to try a little?"
Dereth nodded.
"I'd love to, if you don't mind."
Forest handed him a spoon and said.
"Well then enjoy."
Dereth grinned and took the spoon trying a bit he grinned.
"Excellent!"
Forest beamed and said.
"Thank you, it was an old family recipie."
"Your family certainly knows how to make good meals then," Dereth replied.
Forest smiled even more and gave him a slight hug before going back to preparing the drinks and desserts.
When everything was ready she sighed and said.
"There, if my mother were still alive she would cry with happiness at how it all turned out."
"If it helps I might cry with happiness about how good it tastes," Dereth replied.
"I generally don't eat like this."
Forest laughed and she said.
"It can't be that good can it? I'm still learning and using recipies that I was taught with a little bit more added on my part."

Kara knocked on the door of the castle.
"Forest, you there? It's me, Kara!" she said in a loud voice.
Scarlett hid behind a bush, stalking Kara.
Scarlett flew up silently, hiding in the shadows of the castle towers. She formed a ball of burning hot shadow and closed one eye, aiming it at Kara.
Kara knocked on the door again.
"Forest! You there?!" she hollered. Suddenly the shadow barreled into her, knocking her to the ground. Blood dripped from a cut above her lip.
Scarlett smiled.
"My job here is done," she said, soaring to a nearby forest.
Forest heard the yelling and running up to where Kara was, she opened the door and gasped at what she saw. Without a moments hesitation, she dragged Kara's body inside.
Kara gasped for breath.
"Scar-Scarlett," she stuttered.
"She's here..." Kara trailed off, then bolted up to a sitting position.
"She's here! Oh no, this isn't good," she gasped, pacing around the room.
"She's Yomo's guard... Right?"
Scarlett sat down a tree trunk, folding away her wings so she looked just like a normal girl.
Forest held up her hands and said.
"Calm down Kara! You're working up over nothing, now, slowly, tell me what happened."
Kara looked up.
"Well, Scarlett and I used to be best friends, but we had a huge fight and now we hate each other. I'm really scared of her now... Whenever I'm alone I feel like she's watching me. So, I came to the castle after I saw... Yomo. Scarlett followed me and attacked me with this shadowy blob, and here I am." Kara paused.
"I think Yomo told her to find me."
Forest looked at her confused and said.
"Why would he tell her to find you when he's coming over for dinner?"
Kara looked up.
"Huh? He's coming over?" She lowered her head.
"I didn't know that..."
"I was eventually persuaded to give him a chance and invite him over" Forest said.
Kara stood up, eyes shining.
"You be careful! He can't be trusted," she said.
"I can be your bodyguard!"
Forest stood up with her and let out a slight laugh and said.
"Only if you want to. "
Scarlett decided to go for a walk. She stepped out of the forest and walked along a quiet meadow.
"Ooh! And I can wear a waitress outfit when I give you your food! This will be so fun!" she said excitetedly, jumping up and down.
"You need to get dressed up too! This is a date, after all!" Kara squealed, pushing Forest.
"Oh, I can help you choose your outfit?!"
Scarlett stopped by the road and bent to pick up some pink daisies.
"Pretty," she murmured to herself. She looked up at the sky.
"Mom, Dad, Raina, if you can hear me now, I wanna say that I love you," she whispered into the air.

CHAPTER 3: THE DINNER DATE(continued)

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:55 am

Forest let her push her and she said "It's not really a date though."
Kara snorted.
"You still need to get dressed up. After all, he does like you," she smirked.
"What's his favorite color?"
"Black I think" Forest said, for once unsure of what someone likes.
"Yeah, I guess that would make sense, since he's goth and all," Kara said cheerfully.
"Where's your closet?"
Forest opened a door and showed her the walk in closet.
Kara gasped.
"Wow, so many clothes!" She walked toward a frilly black skirt.
"How about this? It's so... Dark!" She turned around.
"Well, I've gotta head to my house. I need to find my waitress outfit!" She skipped away.
"I'll be back in a bit!"
Forest watched her go before plopping down on her bed with a loud 'oomph' and she stared at her celing.
Kara hummed.
"I want your love and I want your revenge, You and me could write a Bad Romance, I want your love and all your love is revenge..." she sang quietly until she reached the door of her cottage in the countryside. She walked inside and went to her closet, fingering the fabric until she found her waitress costume, complete with a headpiece and apron. She slipped it on, then headed back for Forest's castle.
Forest drapped her arm over her eyes, thinking about the upcomming dinner and her guests.
Kara burst into Forest's room.
"Tada!" she exclaimed.
"What's wrong? You look upset. Are you worried about your date?" she asked naively.
Forest looked at her and said.
"Is it that obviouse?"
Kara nodded vigorously.
"Duh! I mean, look at you! You're a mess!" She dashed into the closet.
"Do you like dresses?" she asked, thumbing through her wardrobe.
Dereth went to his room, his plate armor made it so he couldn't really lie down instead he just took a seat and grabbed his journal out of his bag of stuff.
"I don't really care what I wear, as long as it's comfertable" Forest said, still with her eyes covered by her arm.
Kara looked through the closet.
"Oh, pretty!" she said, taking out a flowy knee length magenta dress.
"How about this? Looks comfy to me," she said, patting the soft fabric.
Forest looked at her and smiled and said.
"Go ahead, you can do whatever you want to me."
Kara tossed the dress at her.
"You can put this on. Tell me if you don't like it! I'm gonna look for some other suitable dresses," she yelled over her shoulder. She took out a black dress with a bow on the shoulder, and a long white one with a tight waist and embroidered leaves. She also took out a pearl necklace and a couple golden bangles.
"Try these."
Forest groaned slightly but tried them all on.
Kara grabbed some lipstick and blush. She handed the lipstick to Forest.
"Put this on your lips. It'll make you look loads prettier." She dabbled some blush on her cheeks.
"You look so pretty!"
Forest added the lipstick and looked in the mirror, she had to admit that she did.

Yomo burst out laughing.
"Who am I fooling? Even if she decided she liked me as a proper man, she would never love the real me!" he yelled loudly.
"All I ever can be is a creepy demon!" he flopped down into his sofa.
Scarlett walked al the way back to Yomo's destroyed home. She knocked on the door loudly.
"Hey, Yomo! Open up!"
Carson was standing beside the hole in the wall of Yomo's home.
"Don't out yourself down Yomo, keep practicing. You were getting it right until you gave up." She says, heading over to the door to let Scarlett in.
Yomo opened the door.
"Yes?" he looked at her with a vague glance, he was in a tuxedo. He looked at Carson.
Scarlett looked down at her feet.
"I'm really sorry I wrecked your home. I can help you with your table manners if you want. My family was pretty wealthy, so I have pretty good etiquette."
Carson looks at Scarlett, when Yomo had opened the door.
"'Bout time you showed up." She says under her breath, going back to where she had been standing beside the door.
"It's ok," he said smiling.
"Come on in," he stepped aside for her.
"Don't mind Carson, she means well."
Scarlett glanced at her, and nodded silently.
"Yeah."
Scarlett glanced at her.
"She's not bad or anything...." she said quietly.
Yomo watched the two girls, his ciriousity perking.
Carson starts messing with her dagger.
Leviricus looked at Yomo.
"So you ready to give everything a try? Noting that I will smack you over the head if you do anything I count as stupid?"
Yomo looked back and forth between the girls.
"I hope you can be friends?" he then looked at Leviricus, "ok??" he sighed.
"Nervous?" Leviricus asked.
"Would you be angery if I was?" he looked him in the eyes.
"I'd be unhappy if you weren't nervous," Leviricus replied.
"It'll keep you on your toes."
Carson looks up at Scarlett.
"I'm Carson, one of Yomo's gaurds." She puts her dagger away.
"I never let the dagger out of my sight." She fiddles with her cross necklace.
Scarlett glanced at Yomo.
"You'll be fine. Just be nice, if that isn't too hard. And don't act like a creeper."
Scarlett nodded.
"Guess carrying a dagger is a good idea. I should try that," she said.
"That's the hardest part at the moment...." he said to scarlette.
Then he looked at Carson.
"How long have you had that cross?", he turned to Leviricus.
"Ok... I'm not but yet ready... Make sense?"
Scarlett shrugged.
"Just be nice, don't stare at her, don't follow her around, give her personal space, and help her only when she says she needs it. That's all," she explained.
"I'll try..." he looked at the group.
"Is it time to go yet?"
"And remember, no means no," Leviricus added.
"From this moment on you are a Gentleman or at least trying to pretend to be one."
Carson takes the dagger back out, wrapping the necklace around the hilt.
"Had it since before the fire, just been keeping it in my pocket with the dagger." She says absently.
"We should hurry up and leave before he has a breakdown."
"I'd rather have him break down here than there but I suppose you're right," Leviricus replied already in a suit himself intending to do all he could to keep yomo in line to give him a chance with Forest.
"Then let's go," Yomo said, looking between them all.
Scarlett looked back at Yomo.
"Yeah, that'd be a good idea," she said, walking out the door. "Just remember what I told you," she called over her shoulder.
Leviricus nodded then pulled a box of chocolates out of a bag, he had picked them up white getting the suit.
"Here, it would be rude to show up with nothing, we'll pick up a dozen roses on the way."
Carson pushes herself from the wall, standing up straight.
"As long as I'm not expected to wear a dress I'm coming."

CHAPTER 3: THE DINNER DATE(continued)

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 11:29 am

"I'll try..." Yomo smiled awkwardly, knowing he was going to epically fail.
"Ok..." he said to Leviricus. Then he looked at Carson,
"I could never picture you in a dress."
"I could," Leviricus muttered to himself about the dress comment.
"Alright let's move out!"
Scarlett hissed.
"Crap! I'll be right back." She unfurled her wings and darted to her house. She grabbed a layered black dress with a rose near the shoulder and pulled it on. She headed back to the others.
"Sorry, quick change. Yeah, I could never picture her in a dress either. Well, maybe a really long one, but probably not."
Yomo, picking up the noise said.
"Maybe it was covered in blood and she was screaming, 'that's what you get for putting me in this!' " he was looking at the sky as he started to walk.
Leviricus did just as he said stopping to buy a dozen roses and hadning them over to Yomo.
"Here, not try not to say anything creepy." He continued towards the castle.
"I'll try..." he whispered as he followed him.
Carson puts her dagger in her pocket. "No use imagining something that will never happen." She say, following Yomo and Leviricus.
Leviricus made his way up to the front door and knocked on it.
"Don't forget to bow when you greet her, she is royalty, then give her the roses and chocolate."
"Ok..." Yomo thought back to when he first meant her. He didn't bow then, why bow now?
"Remember, you're a Gentleman and she's a Queen," Leviricus stated again waiting for someone to answer the door.
Dereth got up to check the door putting his journal on a table as he did so. He opened the door and looked at everyone before glaring at Yomo.
"Oh... It's you."
Scarlett clenched her jaw.
"Where is she! It is a date, after all. You aren't supposed to be late for dates!" she snarled.
Carson looks up as the door opens. She shakes her head.
"Don't be rude to the Queen's guests."
Dereth looked at Carson.
"I have the swords here, and he's still a creepy though I admit less creepy than before. Still, I can be rude to him for now."
Scarlett tapped her foot impatiently.
"I know, but still," she said.
"I hope that stupid Kara girl isn't here."
Yomo stood there silently. A feeling of awkward despair wield up inside of him.
Dereth stepped out of the way to let everyone in.
"We"I can see why you're the doorman," Leviricus replied.
"Such a pleasant attitude!"
Yomo felt his heart sink as he entered. He knew he was doomed.

Forest put on her favorite heels, they matched the majenta dress better than her others.
Forest looked at Kara and she said.
"You'll stay close after right?"
"Oops! Wrong lipstick," she said, replacing the lipstick with a darker, pinker color.
"That's better." She took out a brush and yanked it through Forest's hair.
"Do you want your hair waved, straight, in a ponytail, or in a bun?"
Kara nodded.
"Yep, probably. I hope Scarlett isnt coming... It's just you two, right?"
"Waved" Forest said.
Kara gasped.
"I think they're here!" She grabbed a curler and whipped it through Forest's hair.
"Done!" She gave her some mascara.
"Put this on, carefully, while looking in the mirror," Kara panted, out of breath.
Forest put it on and said.
"Ready?"
Kara nodded.
"Wait, I need some lip gloss..." she said, ducking into the bathroom. She came out after a few seconds.
"Come on, we gotta say hi to Yomo and the other people!" she said, running to the door. She almost tripped in her white heels.
Forest followed close behind, every step sent her nerves on end to the point where she needed to take deep, even breaths to calm herself.
Forest waited outside of the dinningroom door, she was taking a few deep breaths to steady her beating heart and calm her nerves that seemed to refuse to calm down.
Kara smiled.
"Hi!" she said, waving at Yomo and his group. She curtsied.
"Sorry if we're a bit late, we got held up-" she was broken off by Scarlett.
"Yeah, I bet you were held up," Scarlett snarled.
"Excuses, excuses, like always. Why don't you try being more responsible for a change," she growled through her teeth, clenching her fists. She glared at Kara.
Kara gasped.
"I'm sorry Scarlett, Forest was getting ready..."
Carson walks inside.
"Scarlett calm down." She says quietly.
Leviricus put a hand on Yomo's shoulder mostly to comfort him and remind him he's not alone.
"Dining room is over here," Dereth lead the way to the dining room and invited them to sit down before going to stand by the wall acting as a vigilant knight.
Yomo looked between the two girls, he knew that something bad was going to happen... He followed Dereth and glanced at Carson.
Forest waited for the announcement, each minute she taking steady breaths, she was debating on if she should book it now and lock herself up in her room or stick it out and have a nervouse break down when she remembered what her mother would have said:
"You will have to get used to this sooner or later Forest, every royal family does, we must always show at special plannings, even our own. A Queen never leaves her guests unatended for too long or leaves them wondering where she is." Forest was now wishing that her mother was here beside her insead of 6 feet under.
Scarlett glared at Kara, but walked silently into the dining room.
Kara sighed, feeling a bit lightheaded, but followed her into the dining room. She straightened out her ruffled skirt and sat down, far away from Scarlett.
"Just sit down and don't forget what we told you," Leviricus whispered taking a seat. He glared over at Scarlet and Kara hoping they'd behave.
Carson doesn't sit, just stands a bit away from the table.
Yomo listened to Leviricus. His heart was skipping beats.
Dereth walked over to the door Forest was behind and cleared his throat before raising his voice loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Presenting her majesty, Queen Forest." He opened the door for her and bowed slightly once he was out of the way. Forest walked out after pasting a smile on her face, she could care less if it was fake, she wanted something to hide her nerves and it was doing the trick so she delt with it. Walking over to her seat at the head of the table, Forest's magenta dress flowed around her and her long blond hair which drapped over her shoulders and down her back was wavey and blew slightly when she walked.
Kara clapped enthusiastically.
"Yay, Queen Forest!" She was silenced by a glare from Scarlett.
Scarlett glared at Kara, then shrugged and clapped as if she was bored.
At the sight of the Queen, Yomo's heart stopped. He fainted and turned back into his regeneration state when he was out cold.
Forest chuckeld slightly and said.
"Hey Kara" she took her seat. When Yomo fainted, Forest jumped and she said.
"Oh my gosh! What happened to him?!" she was proud of herself for acting like the carring hostess that she was.
Carson looks at Forest as she enters, thinking; I see why Yomo fell for her. She sighs when Yomo faints.
"Just our luck." She mutters. "Hes fine... just unconsious by seeing you."
Forest just blinked and said "Ok then..." she was now a bit creeped out, first he stalks her, now he faints on her when she walkes in? What next? She looked at Kara and said.
"Can we have some water Kara?"
Leviricus was instantly down by Yomo he looked at Forest.
"I'm afraid your beauty took his breath away and stopped his heart, your majesty. He'll be fine in a bit, though I believe his heart is yours to do with what you will." He then whispered to Yomo.
"Come on man get up I can't cover for you forever."
Yomo twichted a bit at Leviricus comment.
At that statement, Forest was now beginning to lose whatever dignity she had left and she was about to run, but she knew she needed to stick it out, her mother bore it into her a thousand times that a Queen never runs out on her guests.
Kara bolted up.
"Oh no! Yomo collapsed!" She ran around the table, eyes wide with shock.
Scarlett rolled her eyes.
"I think we can see that."
Kara looked up.
"Oh, yes!" She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a pitcher of water. She poured some water into everyone's glasses.
Carson takes her cross necklace off her dagger and starts fiddling with it.
Forest was silent for a bit. Forest then took her glass, stood upl walked over to Yomo and said.
"Time to get up!" she dumped it on his face to wake him, she then walked back to her seat, straigtened her dress and sat back down.
Yomo shot up, saw that he was in his weakest state and tried to bolt for the door.
Leviricus tried to grab Yomo to stop him.
"Not not so fast buddy."
Yomo hung his head in shame and got red under his fur.
"I'm sorry..." he meekly whispered in a barely auidable tone.
"Aww come on you're adorable like this," Leviricus teased.
"Just sit down in the chair and enjoy the night without fainting okay?"
Kara smiled at Leviricus's comment.
"Does anyone want any appetizers?" she asked. She leaned toward Forest.
"What are the appetizers?" she whispered.
Forest whispered back.
"In the fridge, there is a bowl of salad."
Yomo moved to the table on his four paws and sat down. His heart was still not beating, if he became human again he'd die. Carson puts her necklace on agian.

CHAPTER 3: THE DINNER DATE(continued)

Postby The True Werewolf » Sun Mar 18, 2012 12:04 pm

Scarlett looked over at Carson.
"You play a lot with that necklace, don't you?"
Carson glances at Scarlett.
"Yep, its the only thing I have from before I got stuck here."
Scarlett smiled slightly.
"All of my things got bombed in a terrorist attack, so I don't have much to hold onto. I have quite a bit of money though, but I really don't like shopping. Too girly," she said, shrugging.
Kara nodded, then skipped over to the kitchen. She grabbed the salad and put it neatly into little crystal bowls, then carried them back to the table. She passed out the bowls.
"Eat up!" she said brightly.
Forest picked up her fork and waited for the others to eat first.
Leviricus took his seat beside Yomo now and then looking at him. Well so much for the suit and gentleman plan, but he guessed this would work out as long as Yomo didn't collapse again.
"You gonna be alright bud?".
Dereth had returned to standing over by the wall watching everything that was happening. his right hand on the hilt of one of his swords just resting there.
Forest looked at Dereth and said.
"You can join us if you want to."
Dereth nodded and sat down not going to deny the invite.
Yomo stared at his paws, he couldn't use human manners in this form... He looked at Leviricus with the sad, failed puppy eyes.
Kara smiled.
"Aww, Yomo's so cute! He looks fluffy!" she said before eating a piece of salad. She reached over to pat his head.
Forest smiled and said.
"He does look cute like that, I will give him that much" she began to eat. Now she took a good look at him, and she felt something in her that wasn't there before, could she actually be falling for him? The very thought scared but amused her at the same time.
Yomo felt burned. He was no more than pet rank at the momment.
Leviricus sighed and turned himself into a gryphon.
"Just follow my lead." He started to eat the salad but remained as well mannered as he could as a gryphon, making as little noise as possible as he ate now and then looking around at the others once he had some of the salad in his mouth but made sure nothing was hanging out.
Forest moved the dish aside and she said.
"Now, who's ready for the real dinner?"
Kara leaned over and hugged Yomo.
"So cute!" she said. She glanced up.
"I'll get it!" she said.
Forest smiled and said.
"I made it special for everyone."
Leviricus whispered to Yomo.
"Told you women love the cute factor. It's why kittens are a gold mine for picking up women."
Forest placed a new napkin on her lap like her mother had taught her, she was sitting up straight in her chair.
Yomo had no hunger, but he tried to eat something, even if he was not breathing... The hug knocked more air out of him and he felt sick... He looked down worse.... All he was was a cute pet to these people.
Forest looked at him and she said.
"Something wrong Yomo?" She couldn't help it, she felt bad for the guy.
Yomo looked up, sollowed down his food and gently barked.
"Nothing is worng... The food is good.."
Leviricus looked at Yomo.
"Chin up bud. It's not the end of the world."
Forest smiled and said.
"That's only the appetizer."
Yomo thought it was the end of his... "Thank you for the meal..." Yomo whispered.
Forest looked at him confused, was he leaving? Why? Instead of asking her question out loud, she shook her head and said instead.
"Can I talk to you alone for a bit Yomo?" It was time for him to spill the beans.
Carson felt bad for Yomo but she said to Scarlette.
"Shopping is way to boring."
"Ok..." Yomo felt hot under his fur as he stood up.
Scarlett nodded.
"Only idiots shop. Well, if I say that, I'm technically calling all girls idiots, but whatever," she said, shrugging.
Carson nods in agreement.
"Agreed."
Kara walked into the kitchen and picked up the main dish. She brought it back to the table.
"Eat up! It smells really good!"
Kara hummed to herself and walked back to her seat. She scooped some stew into her bowl.
Scarlett leaned against the back of the seat.
"It smells good," she said. She scooped some into her bowl as well.
"I'm, I'm sorry..." Yomo looked down.
"I'm just a failure and I know you don't like me..." he felt tears in his eyes as he tried not to cry.
"I'm sorry I'm putting you threw all this..."
Forest bent down so she was at his level and she said.
"It's not that, you just kinda freaked me out, hasn't anyone told you that stalking girls is no way to get them to like you?" the entire time Forest was wondering what on earth is wrong with this guy?.
"I'm just a demon... I'm parents left me and I had to raise myself..." he looked down.
"I wouldn't blame you is you threw me out and hated me forever..." When he said this, Forest thought Is that it? That's why he was acting so strange? Well, he must really like me and I can't bealieve it that we have something in common.
F orest sat down and she placed a hand on his head and said.
"I know what it's like not having parents, mine were killed, and I don't care if you are a demon or not, just don't stalk me and I won't try to butcher you with a knife." Forest said with a slight smile.
At the hint of her touch, Yomo went into his full form.
"I... I... Don't know what to say," he was looking in her.
Forest jolted back a bit but she stood up and took a few deep breaths before she said.
"Say nothing, I know what you are going through, I'm not affraid" she walked up to him and said.
"We should head back, but you can't go back in there looking like that" she gently kissed him on his cheek before waiting for him to follow, after all, her mother said to find any means to make a guest who was feeling down happy and she figured that the kiss would make him happy.
Yomo blushe and said.
"Ok.." as he followed her. When Forest seen the blushing, she knew she did the right thing, oh how she wished her mother was here, she would be so proud of her.
Forest walked out and said.
"Do not worry about what you see everyone, I think he's stuck."
Yomo got red as he towered over forest at 9ft tall.
Forest just stepped aside a bit and she said.
"You really need to shrink some ok? It's akward standing next to you at that hight."
"Uh, sorry..." he looked at her.
"I'm short for my kind..."
"That's short for you're kind? What are you from? Giants?!" Forest said shocked.
"I'm a type of arch-demon... We... Tend to be 11ft or higher..." he blushed as he looked down.
"I'm sorry..."
Forest shook her head and and thought this is going to be one long dinner party but she said.
"No matter, come on, let's finish dinner." she headed to her seat.
Yomo walked over to his, feeling awkward for sitting in such a small seat. When Forest seen him in the seat, it was all she could to not laugh, he actually drawfed the chair!
Forest ate her stew, pleased with how it turned out.
Yomo picked up a spoon. Trying to figure out how to hold it correctly. Forest seen this and she thought really? He doesn't even know how to hold a freaken spoon?. Forest sighed silently and said.
"Like this." She showed him the right way to hold it.
Leviricus looked at Yomo, still in his gryphon form.
"You doing alright now?"
Kara looked up and gasped.
"Yomo... You're really tall..." She lifted a spoon to her mouth in awe.
Scarlett glanced up. Her eyes widened in surprise, but she shrugged and continued to chew on her stew. Her wings unfurled as she glanced at Kara.
He looked at him.
"I dont know..." as he tried to hold the spoon correctly.... Yomo was burning red.
Forest ate more and she said.
"You'll get the hang of it eventually."
Scarlett rolled her eyes.
"You hold it like you hold a pencil or pen." She paused.
"Please don't tell me you've never used a pen."
Leviricus went back to a human form to start enjoying the meal.
"Well considering you're not running for the door I must assume that your alone talk went somewhat well?"
He held the spoon with his claws like a stick...
"Pen?? I've used pencil..." he paused.
"I hold it like this..." he held it with his left hand like a kid holds crayons.
Forest shook her head and said.
"Not like that" she walked over and placed his hand in the right position and said.
"Like that, that's how you hold a spoon."
Kara sipped her soup, then jumped up and ran around the table.
"HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT!" she yelled.
Scarlett stared at her, then raised an eyebrow in amusement. She turned toward Yomo.
"Yeah, like what the Queen is doing."
His claws were awkwardly placed on the spoon as he tried to use it, but he lost grip and it fell into his soup.
Forest watched Kara, picking up a glass she said.
"Drink" Forest picked the spoon back up and said.
"Here" she took his hand, placed the spoon in it and closed his fingers around it and said.
"Hold onto it tightly."
His claws made it hard to hold on, he tried again but still dropped the spoon. He picked it up, held it like a crayon, and turned it sideways and started to eat it that way.
"Well, if it works it goes I guess" Forest said before tapping him gently on the shoulder and sat back down.
Yomo felt warmed by her touch and seemed to grow a little bit taller. He watched her sit back down with love in his eyes.
Kara sat back in her seat, feeling very embarrassed. She blew on her soup as she sipped it.
Scarlett smirked and smiled slightly in amusement. She continued to eat her stew.
Forest finished her meal and she said.
"Well, that was tastey."
"It was," Yomo agreed as he looked at her. He felt warmth in him. All he wanted was to embrace her in away only couples do.
Forest looked at Kera and said.
"When you have finished, we can begin desert then talk."
Kara smiled.
"Yes ma'am!" She gulped down the stew. It warmed her stomach as she swallowed it.
"What's the dessert again?"
"Ice cream" Forest said with a smile.
Leviricus relaxed everything seemed like it was going to be fine, of course he was mentally patting himself on the back giving himself far more credit than he desereved.
Yomo listened to the sweet sound of Forest's voice. He could feel a love for her rise in him. He felt as if he may have a chance with her.
Forest looked at Dereth and said.
"I have to admit, this is going well don't you think?"
Yomo watched the people with cirousity.
"Far better than I was expecting," Dereth replied.
Leviricus looked at Yomo wondering if Yomo was going to remember about the box of chocolates.
Forest beamed, she found that she was actually have a very swell time.
Kara walked into the kitchen and fetched the platter of ice cream, spooning it into delicate porcelain bowls. She carried it back into the dining room, and placed a bowl in front of each person. She sat down and felt the ice cream melt onto her tongue.
Scarlett shrugs.
"This wasn't so bad," she admitted. She took a bite of the ice cream.
Yomo looked at Leviricus, wondering what that look is his eyes was.
Forest took a bite of her's, savoring the coolness of it after a hot meal.
Leviricus whispered.
"The box of chocolates, what did you do with it? And the roses?"
Kara smiled widely and took another bite of the ice cream.
Scarlett put a large bite of ice cream in her mouth, then shuddered as the icy coldness seeped into her mouth.
"Cold..." she said quietly.
Yomo glared at the icecream, his worst foe...
Yomo jumped a bit and looked at the box and roses and picked them up. He then walked over to Forest and gave them to her.
"I hope you like these..." he got a bit red.
Forest chuckled and said.
"Don't eat it to fast, don't want to get a brain freeze now do you?" Forest looked at him and smiled, taking the box of chocolates and flowers and said.
"Oh thank you Yomo, this is very sweet of you." hmm, maybe he isn't such a creepy stalker after all Forest thought to herself.
Kara looked up.
"Aww, so cute! He's giving her flowers and chocolate! So romantic!" she said sweetly.
Scarlett rolled her eyes again.
"Way too gushy, of you ask me," she muttered.
Forest blushed all shades of red at Kara's comment. Great she thought.
Carson had stood the whole time, watching everyone else enjoy themselves.
"You're welcome," he sat back down and glared worse at the icecream.
Dereth heard Scarlett's comment he mentally agreed but didn't say anything.
Leviricus started to eat his ice cream and kept watching Yomo since he did promise to keep him on his best behavior.
"Let me guess, ice cream doesn't like you?"
Forest smirked at Leviricus's comment and finished her own ice cream.
"It melts when I touch it..." he glared at the icecream worse.
"So enjoy the cream not the ice?" Leviricus suggested.
Yomo toke his spoon and poked the icecream, as soon as it hit, the ice creame turned to a boiling stew of milk.
Forest looked at it shocked and said.
"What the?..." Oh great, if he could melt ice cream like that, what else could he do, maybe I was wrong about him not beeing a creep? Or maybe I can use that to my advantage? Forest thought to herself.
"Umm... Cold things like ice melt at my touch..." he looked her in the eyes.
"Sorry..." he wondered if she was freaked out by him now.
Leviricus just looked at it.
"You weren't kidding... So let me guess favorite desert is a flambe?"
Forest laughed and said.
"Well then, looks like I don't have to blow fire to clear away snow."
Yomo got red.
"I like sweet rolls..." he looked at Forest.
"You have a beautiful laugh..." his voice was a bare whispere.
Forest smiled and said.
"Why thank you Yomo, you know, you are becomming quit the gentlemen." I get it now, he's sucking up to me! Hmm, I wonder what does he want? Forest thought, eyeing him from the corner of her eye.
He smiled a heart warming smile against his demonic face and mouthed the words 'I love you.' to Forest.
Forest looked shocked but after a while she just laughed and shook her head and mouthed back 'good try, but you need to do more than just flowers and chocolates' however, she did smile and wink at him. So that's it is it? Hmmm...I wonder how long I could string him along. Forest thought a tad bit evily. He wasn't the only one who could have a demonic mind.
He got red and looked down at his melted icecream. He wondered where her line fell for him.
Forest stretched and she said.
"Well, I'm beat, shall we call it a night?"
Yomo looked at her. He didn't really want to leave.
"Do you wish us gone?" he asked with a hint of sorrow as he turned human again.
Forest shook her head and said.
"You guys are staying the nigh.t" Ah ha! So there is a time limit as to how long he can be like that! I knew it! That's a girl Forest, keep leading him on she thought happily.
"Really?" he perked up.
"Where will we be staying exactly?"
Dereth looked like he almost wanted to protest the idea but didn't.
Leviricus grinned at the idea.
"In the rooms of the castle of course, come on and I will show you" She stood up and headed to the hallway that leads to the rooms. Duh, and don't think I'm gonna have you close to me either Forest thought bitterly, she didn't want to think about what could happen if he was close to her room at night when she was sleeping.
Yomo followed, half hoping, though he knew it untrue, that him and Forest will be sharing a room.
Forest led him to his room which was ten doors down from her's, and she led the others to their as well.
Yomo felt burnt that he was the farthest door form her, but he didn't protest and said.
"Thank you" to her. Told you to not think you would be close, you should learn. She felt a slight pain though at the look he gave her, but she brushed it off and headed to her own room.
Forest smiled and waved after showing the others before heading to her own room.
Leviricus looked around his room impressed. Dereth stood out in the hall, he intending to stand on guard all night in case Yomo tried anything.
Forest changed into pajamas and washed all the make up off, she brushed her teeth and hair and climbed into bed with a book.
Yomo started to pase back and forth in his room. He debated about going into her room, but felt that would be too risky and creepy. He started to rock in his bed, feeling anxious. He let out a bit of a weird cry that was essaily mistaken for a deing cat. Yomo bite his lip.
Forest soon was lost in her book to notice anything, she was at the part where White Fang was taken from his mother.
Dereth was confused when he heard the cry, almost tempted to ask Yomo if he was killing a cat in his room or something.
Yomo peered into the hallway, only to quickly close the door when he saw Dereth. He rushed over to his bed and jumped into it.
Dereth leaned against the wall, a hand on the hilt of his sword, he'd do his job and stand there all night forcing himself to stay awake.
Forest soon put the book away and turned off her light before fully climbing under the covers.
Leviricus was in his bed constantly shifting between human, bear and gryphon trying to find the most comfortable position.
Yomo ran a quick lap around his room, opened the door and released a defining cat like wail out of sight form the door.
Dereth walked over to Yomo's door and banged on it.
"Are you killing at cat in there or tormenting one or something?"
