Chapter One
The first waking
Mewling. Mewling of hungry kits. Moonsong, a beautiful gray tabby had her eyes set on her kits. " Come my kits" she whispered, pushing her kits closer to her belly with her tail.
Icekit, the oldest of the litter suckled first, taking the most milk. Her short haired blue and gray fur shined in the warm sunlight. Moonsong always kept her kits outside when it was warm.
Then Pinekit and Grasskit started to drink some milk.
Moonsong smiled " Icekit, Pinekit and Grasskit. Such beautiful kits, there my little warriors" she whispred, admiring the kits.
Icekit yawned, showing her pink tonuge. Then just like that she opened her baby blues. She looked at Moonsong with a smiled then mewed.
Moonsong widen her eyes " Mossbush! Come quickly!" she yelled.
The young she-cat rushed in " What? What is it-" she stopped talking when she saw Icekit. " Icekit! S-she's opening her eyes!" she exclaimed
Icekit smiled then crawled to her. Her bright eyes looked up at her as she showed her gums.
Mossbush smiled " Icekit, your growing up fast!" she mewed to her.
Icekit grinned then closed her eyes back up, ploping down in Mossbushes foot.
Mossbush laughed then slowly withdrawed her paw, leaving Icekit sleeping on the grass.
Moonsong smiled then picked up Icekit. She is gentle placed her wihth the others and licked her " My little warrior" she whispered before lokoing back at Mossbush.
Mossbush nodded " I will leave you alone" she mewed, taking a step back and leaving.
