PrologueThe loud, roaring sounds of the motors behind her straightened her back. There were no windows. Nothing, except that last glance over the world she'd known so well. Nothing, nothing of all things she loved, all things she admired, everyone she admired, could come with her. It had been a new start, of a new, fresh life. A new start, to begin somewhere else. Her seat was in the middle of the vehicle. The inside was covered in a thick, soft fabric, that prevented anyone from fall against the walls. As much as they could. The roaring sound grew louder, and she wanted to cover her ears, her eyes. To ban the world from her thoughts. She couldn't handle this moment. They were leaving. And there was no way back.

Chapter OneThe total silence surrounded her, descended on the ground, and around the trees like a early-morning fog. The birds were quiet, there was no song of emotion, no song of misery. A total silence.
She knew, from the inside, that a silence like this couldn't mean anything good. But she didn't wanted to know. Hidden in the shadows of the small forest, she excluded the world. Her hands over her ears, her eyes anxiously closed, wrinkles forming around them.
She had been there all night. They probably were already searching for her, but not knowing about these places in the forest, that she discovered. Hér places in the forest.
The ground under her was soft, but cold, and wet. The rain from last night had made the forest come alive again. The darkness that had surrounded the woods the last few days hadn't been nice one. There were happening strange things in the woods, things which weren't to see, to know. She decided to keep away from it, as far as she could. This night had been an exception.
Her hair fell in front of her eyes as she looked down at the ground, boringly pulling blades of grass out of the ground.
