I swung my leg and felt the foot come into contact with his cheek, a loud crack resonating from the point of impact. I cried out as I realised the crack had come from my foot breaking, not his cheek, and fell to the ground. Before I could move, one of the guards, that littered the perimeter of the room, ran over to me and forced a needle into my arm. I felt any control I had over my body slip away. The guard forced me off of my back into a kneeling position, my head facing my knees. The man I had been fighting chrouched down in front of me. He placed to fingers under my chin and tilted my head up so I was looking in his eyes. "Fallen," he whispered, "such an ugly name for such a pretty girl," he finished, moving some strands of brown hair out of my face. I glared into his grey eyes, wishing I could slap him. "Just give in, you know you'll never beat me," I realised suddenly that, word by word, he was moving closer to me, stopping with his lips inches from mine. The left side of his face twitches into a smile as he leans forwards the final bit and his lips rested against mine. I still couldn't move anything, so I was stuck in the kiss. Eventually, he pulled away and sighed, stroking the side of my face. I'm happy to find I have control of my face again, so I frown and hiss "Casimir" I growled, but he had already left the room, along with his guards. I fall back to the ground, the poison injected into me sapping all energy from my body.
