Recently I have been checking out books for my kindle and fell in love with Reckless Magic (The Star-Crossed Series, Book 1) by Rachel Higginson. It is AMAZING! I'm sad that the series are over and decided to make a twist to the story! If you don't understand, check the book out! The first book is free for the kindle.

Well, Here we go!

I was running through a jungle full of Titans chasing me. I tripped over a broken branch from a tree, blood dripping off my thigh. I tried using magic to heal it, but I couldn't. That was also the reason why I couldn't take the magic from the Titans. All of a sudden, I heard a deafening scream! Then I realized it was coming from me. I fell off of the cliff landing in a heap of skin and bones. As I took my last few breaths, I saw Kiran looking down at me showing his signature smirk, and I saw nothing but endless black.

"EDEN!!! WAKE UP! WE NEED TO GO TO THE BARN!" Avalon screeched. My eyes raced open and for a second I was
blinded by the light. When my eyes finally got in focus, my eyes laid on Avalon, my twin, my everything. His long hair was
pulled back in a ponytail, and his Resistance tattoos glimmered in the light. 'EDEN YOU'VE GOT 5 MINUTES!' He screamed
in my head. 'OK, OK fine..' I replied using our telepathic connection. 'HMPH' he replied and slammed the door behind him.
I sighed and realized that all of my pillows and blankets were on the floor. I ran to the bathroom and saw that I was barely
wearing any clothes! "Gosh, can't I have some privacy?" I muttered. 'I heard that' Avalon whispered. Even though I loved
my brother, he could be a pest sometimes.

I jumped into my shower ripping off my somewhat covering clothes and the steamy water engulfed me. When that was done
and I had finished drying off, I sighed. I was going to have to do something about my impossible tangle of long black hair. I
tested if my magic was fine, remembering the dream, and sure enough it was. I used it to comb my hair out, separating the
knots and replacing the hair with a silky curtain.

I threw on a boat necked blue dress and ran downstairs, preparing myself for a beating for taking so long. Instead I found myself
in the arms of Kiran, my love, shocked. I forgot all about the dream, misty remnants leaving this earth forever.
"You look even more dazzling today, Eden" Kiran breathed into my hair. "And you smell good" he sighed. I blushed and found my lips finding his, our magic engulfing me, and I suppressed a sigh. Then reality hit me. I was in a prison cage, tortured and bleeding all over. I was with Jericho and Lily. 'Avalon' I whispered but realized that I sent Avalon all of our magic for safekeeping. King Lucan and his son were torturing us for information about the Resistance. But another small reason was that Lucan wanted entertainment.

"Breakfast" said a raspy voice. 3 bowls of, whatever it was, dropping on the filthy floor. "Some respect?" Jericho said. For the
first time, I realized he was awake. "Jericho, I don't want to get whipped again" Lily whimpered. She was awake too! I scooted
over to my best friend. "Lily, I think I've got us a plan out of here" I smirked."Is it dangerous?" Jericho asked, having overheard us. "'Course" I replied. "Is it daring?" "'Course" I repeated. "Does it involve all of us?" He smiled. "Somewhat.." I smiled too. "Then I'm in!!!" Jericho said with an air of finality. "What about you?" I asked to Lily, staring into her dull eyes. "If you're in, I'm in!" she whispered. "Then it's set!" I exclaimed! "First, we'll get our magic back from Avalon and I'll tell you the plan." We began. Each of us concentrated on seeing what Avalon looked like. Then we pulled a rope that pulled our magic from him.

I had practiced before so I finished first, my dead eyes glowing royal blue, the color of my magic. "WOOHOO" Jericho whooped with his now piercing green eyes but recieved the eye from Lily in return. She was concentrating hard to get her magic back, as this was her first time. "Got it" she said proudly after a few minutes, her once dull eyes radiating a bright purple.

"Great" I whispered when two Titans passed by. We pulled our magic in, turning our eyes dull again and pretending to be eating the disgusting mush. They nodded, turned around the corner while I gagged on the tiny bit of (was it decaying corn?) mush that landed on my tongue. We pulled our magic out again, sighing in relief. Then I dragged them over to the moss-covered corner. I blocked my nose when Jericho let out an ear piercing belch signifying that he had eaten the horrid... decaying matter in the bowl... I had to keep myself from throwing up as Lily turned a sick green. "What?" Jericho laughed, slightly embarrassed. "Nothing" I managed to say with my mouth full of my bloated tongue. After a few seconds when we all calmed down, I began. "To be honest," I started wanting to tell the truth but changed my mind, "I have a BRILLIANT plan!" I lied, pausing while racking my brain for an idea. "What is it then?" Lily asked. "Just let her continue her lie" Jericho replied honestly, holding back a laugh. I started blushing a deep red, my face flushing. "No, I really do have one. I'm just trying to slow the shock for you" I lied again. "The plan is, I call Avalon to send Xavier, Xandro: the twins; and Titus: the buff guy, as fake messengers" I paused, enjoying the look of shock on their faces. Then I continued "
