♥Cinderella's Ball♥
I may not be perfect,
I'm human after all,
I'm just a Cinderella,
That didn't make it to the ball.
We both know how unfair, fairly tales can be.
In fact I'm walking proof, after you stole my heart from me.
Love should be perfect,
An equal ideal picture.
I thought you were the one,
To hand me my glass slipper.
But you’re not a knight in amour,
No, you’re nothing royal,
Just another player,
Wrapped in aluminum foil.
Too bad you couldn't see,
How this Cinderella turned around.
I have my OWN fairytale,
And I'M writing it now.
Yeah, I still slip up.
I'm human after all,
I’m glad this Cinderella,
had a chance to miss the ball.

♥What Makes A Person♥
Anyone can feel happiness,
Anyone can make mistakes,
Anyone can do wrong,
Because everyone lives that way.
Anyone can cause pain,
And anyone can feel hurt.
But a heart is what makes you a person,
and love is what makes it work.

♥Plain Sight♥
You are the trophy, so don't waste your time winnin',
Just look in my eyes, so you can see you're all that's in them.
Don't settle for what you want, when what you need, needs you more.
Don't take another step, I'm not a child to just ignore.
Can you see me behind these snooty preps? Can your hear me outside your trophy case?
Can you notice the edge I'm so tempted to step? Are my arms so unworthy of your royal embrace?
Well as i stand stranded, lost in the crowd,
you carry on with your kingdom, cheerful and proud.
Peasant or not, ... I'm a person too.
I'm trapped in your gaze, and it's hard to break through.
I'm sorry to say, that in no humanly way, can I ever be royal, can I ever be great.
You are a trophy, a knight in gold armor,
silver is second and your something much larger.
Highschool is your kingdom, servants at your command. I must be in hell, Like a demon i am damned.
But still here I cry, cursing my mind.
Doomed to be hidden, lost in plain sight.

and you can live to pay the price,

I travel it alone.
Yes, I've made mistakes,
And I'll make many, many, more.
I'm forced to deal the hand I've dealt,
And be ready for what's in store.

This is addictive,

I look in the mirror and pray that its wrong.
I pretend I have hope,
so that I may move on.
I cant stand the hurt,
I cant hold back the tears,
I'd ask for a cure,
but no one can hear.
I'd cry for some guidance,
but I am alone.
Wounded and lost,
I cant find a home.
Both paths are wrecked,
so where do I stand?
