No name yet! Cat Story :D

Okay, I'm no expert at writing, though I love it and do it all the time! I haven't done a cat story before, though I'm reading 'Varjack Paw', which has inspired me. (Probably spelt Varjack wrong!)

Chapter 1

Tam was a beautiful, sleek cat. She was a tabby, that could camouflage perfectly with her surroundings. She lived with her family, who never seemed to like her. Even her mother acted like she didn't exist. Tam, planned to escape. And it was going to be tonight.

Tam yowled loudly as her big brother landed on her and pinned her to the ground. "Get off Tim!" She moaned and attempted to push him off, but his claws dug into the carpet, and he was half stuck. Tam sighed. "I said get off!" Her mother of course, went on Timothy's side.
"Tam, would you stop moaning at your brother!" She scolded and gently pushed her son off Tam. Tam growled and leapt up. She snarled again and hopped up onto a chair. They didn't have an owner, they just found this house and made themselves at home. She curled up and buried down, into her fur. Tam's mother cleaned Timothy and paid attention to her other children. Tam narrowed her eyes, then closed them. She was going to need some sleep, if she truly was going to escape.
---
Tam pads across the wet, pavement of the city. She's alone. The lamps shine bright, and she watches the cars whoosh by. Suddenly she shrinks back as a growl comes from behind her. She whips around, to see a tom cat, with a scratch across his eye. He is pure white. He snarls as he licks his paw, which was scarlet from blood. Tam opens her mouth to speak, though he makes himself big, his fur sticking out in different ways and he hisses a menacing hiss. Tam steps backwards, though the huge cat looms over her, then lunges forward...
---
Tam woke up with a fright. She was sprawled out on the red chair. She quickly got into a position that didn't look silly. She was about to call for her mother, when she saw that the clock said: 00:00. She smiled and remembered her plan. Now seemed the right time. Silently, she jumped off the chair and slumped to the cat flap. But first, she gave her mother a quick kiss on the forehead. She glanced back at the living room, the dead fire, the old piano and her family. She turned and jumped through the flap...

To be continued..!

((Sorry these chapters are so short..!))
Chapter 2
Once Tam's foot touched the wet ground, it felt amazing already. She stepped out and took in a deep breath. She'd only been out in the garden, never the city. She smiled. Suddenly she thought of the dream and shivered. "Oh don't be silly. It was a dream." She told herself over and over. Tam decided it was time to go and look for company. She padded through the city and watched as the huge metal monsters roared past. Water sprayed up as they drove, and Tam swore at them. She turned a corner into a dark alley. It started to rain. Tam's perfect fur drooped and she was soaked to the skin. Her instincts told her to run, as if she was running away from the rain, but it was always in front of her. She past a closed shop and looked at her reflection. There was a cat, looking sorry for herself and her fur nearly reached the ground. Tam scowled and the cat scowled back. She cocked her head on the side, and it did too! Tam smiled. "It must be like that mirror at home," she thought. She chuckled and spotted an old hut, tucked away behind the corner. She ran towards it, and found an entrance. Inside it was old, slightly damp and there were cobwebs in the corners that hang limply. She wandered around and found an old rug, to curl up on.

"And so you can just walk in and sleep here?!" A huge voice shouted in Tam's ear. She woke up and opened her huge yellow eyes.
"Wha- Whe- How? Who are you?" Tam moaned and saw two eyes staring back at her. It was still dark, and Tam's fur was still wet. She couldn't see the other creatures body. The eyes narrowed.
"I asked you the question! So don't reply with what I asked you!" The reply came. Tam could tell that it was a strong, female cat's voice. Tam stood up and stretched.
"Well, it was raining!" Tam replied slightly awkwardly. The eyes rolled and narrowed again.
"And?!" The cat growled. Tam shifted uneasily, then jumped down, off the rug and onto the uneven floor. She saw the cat more clearly. She was a chocolate brown cat, very pretty. "Hello? Anyone home?" The queen asked and she gave Tam a hit. It didn't hurt.
"And I needed shelter. It's colt and wet out there!" Tam gestured towards the entrance and shivered. The other cat glowered at Tam and leapt on her, pinning Tam down just like Timothy.
"Why did you just walk into my hut?! Is it yours? NO!" The can bellowed. Tam struggled to find words.
"I didn't know this belonged to you!" She squawked. The brown cat sighed but let Tam go all the same.
"Who are you?" The cat demanded, but slightly more quiet and interested.
"I'm... My- My name is Tam," Tam said, a bit reluctantly.
"Tam... Well Tam, my name is Poppy." She said. There was an awkward silence. Tam was the first to speak.
"So... Can I stay here for the night? Once it's stopped raining, you can chuck me out," Tam smiled. Poppy smiled too.
"Okay then. Only until the morning." She padded over to the rug Tam had been sleeping on, and curled up. Tam frowned but didn't speak. She soon found another soft rug to lie on.

---
Tam walks along the soft grass. She rolls and laughs with her new friend Poppy. Though Poppy spots a tom cat and sighs. She walks over to him, smiling and flirting. Tam calls, but Poppy is fading away to the cat. "Poppy! Poppy! Wait! Where are you going?!" She calls, then tries to run after her, but running was like trying to run through syrup. "Poppy!" Poppy turns back at Tam. She cackles and says: "farewell!" Then she disappears.
