1st Chapter |:| The Aerabithian Queen
The bright stars glowed up in the sky of Aerabithia, shining down on it's inhabitants, ready to choose the new queen. They twinkled as Aerabithians gathered in the cirlce of light, by the pool of the Three White Moons. As the people of Aerabithia began to talk anxiously, a light sparkled down on Destiny Melody Saphire, and everyone stopped to stare as the illuminous light shone apon her. She looked around confused at the peoples actions - not knowing they were acctually here people. A few seconds went by before the Unicorn herd of light pranced past, and the lead stallion greeted Destiny. She gazed at it in amazment, then it bowed it's horn in respect to it's new queen. Destiny smiled as speechless as she was, and looked at them. Her eyes slowly closed as she took a deep breath, gazing up to the stars. "Aerabithians, listen now. Your queen has been chosen, and that queen, is I" She said. Once the words had fallen from her blood red lips, the crowd of Aerabithians cheered in unison, chanting as they did. It was such a beautiful sight that night, to see the light of the chosen fall and pick out one so young to be queen.
Destiny sat on a thrown inside the palace of Aerabithia, watching the golden sun rise from out her window. She gazed at it for a while, as she sat there on the thrown, which had been crafted from Aerabithia's finest crystal (Quartaz). She smiled at her people as they passed. It was such a mystical world up in Aerabithia. She looked up to the sky and smiled, sending a telepathic message to her friend Quilby, the golden horned Jackalope. As she waited, she began to hum an old Aerabithian melody, constructed by the first ever Aerabithian queen, Jasmine Quartaz Crystal. It was like all were listening - because at that moment the palace fell silent - and began to enjoy the soft tune produced by the queen.
